Oh boy. Ana Psychology saw the Netflix manosphere doc.not to mention what the "manosphere" even means most people just refer to the "manosphere" as men they aren't fond of and who they can use as scapegoats for why "all men are evil". God knows they would never lump any men that do genuinely good things for the world in there. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 01/04/26 06:42 PM
Oh boy. Ana Psychology saw the Netflix manosphere doc.Ana really doesn't hide her "I hate men" attitude especially when she tries to come across as some unbiased researching "doctor". Speaking of which, I genuinely hate when online influences/content creators abuse the "doctor" title. I believe she only got her phD and did nothing with it. She's not a doctor, I don't care what the semantics are and I hate how she uses it to come across as one. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 01/04/26 06:40 PM
Does the left not understand they're inadvertently validating what the manosphere has been saying about them when they make insults regarding men's bodies?it's kind of the idea of "justified murder" though. Like for instance if a famous person dies but turns out they were an "awful person" (by whatever optics that entails) then people don't care. People body shame short guys in this age of "body acceptance" because no one cares and most people have a disdain for short men. If there's anything I've just had to unfortunately accept about this world it's that how someone feels about a situation will always come first no matter what (obviously there's… | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 27/03/26 01:31 AM
How can one find healing from feminist-caused trauma in a mental health system obsessed with feminist ideals? Also, I am so glad I found this sub.my only way to express my issues of feminism has always been with other guys unfortuantely I'm lucky to have a buddy I can bounce ideas off of and there's no shame/ridicule/judgement since we usually come from a place of looking at the bigger picture of things, I appreciate having him in my life. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 21/03/26 03:18 PM
Why are post so LOOOONG in here ?A lot of good comments here but I'd also say men in general have to expand more on "what they mean" and how to say obvious things that could be shortened in a way that doesn't turn people off or in a way that doesn't make him look like a "societal threat" An easy example is where feminists will say "men are all monsters", there is no explanation needed nor societal pressure to give one. Whereas if a man explains why he's felt attacked by women whether online, in-person, whether he was abused or … | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 15/03/26 11:19 PM
The Pressure to Be "Interesting"I myself have co-opted the word interesting to mean engaging with the world. I don't necessarily care about women finding me interesting (at least not anymore) but I do feel this pull when I see OTHER people be interesting and they can talk about the ins and outs of something totally random or even topical at times. I love engaging with the world now, getting into sports, exploring more art, asking myself why I like something. I myself do notice other men are "boring" not in a sort of "entertain… | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 14/03/26 05:27 PM
