Damn I'm torn. I do agree that seeing the worst of humanity up front tends to harden you in lots of ways but I think, for whatever reason, we human beings always reserve a soft spot thinking "my future girlfriend/spouse won't be like this" I mean, could be you're just smarter than me, but that's pretty much how I parsed it. I had a lot of experience to show me the best and worst of humanity prior to meeting my ex wife but I always assumed the best of her because that's just what love was to me. …

Feminist women barely exist anymore bro, this is 2026, it's all about OF and sugaring woman luring men into spending our money via gender traditionalism

I'm on the spectrum so it took me a while to understand that the majority of people are just talking shit, spewing their half baked ideas, faking morality without actually comprehending it, saying and believing whatever is useful to them etc Even people on PPD are wrong about a lot of things and this is a community of spergy, over-analytical people. So just imagine how full of hypocrisy and contradiction the average normie is.

Not all men will succumb but enough will that woman needs to put in very little effort comparatively This experiment, woman asked men on campus to sleep with them and got a 75% yes rate https://www2.hawaii.edu/~elaineh/79.pdf It’s not misandry if it’s true

“Cheating happens sometimes”, you are really confused about why society condemns this? It’s one of the worst forms of betrayal. Let’s not normalize cheating or pretend its inevitable or even slightly forgiveable Im ok with acknowledging that society is too fucked up and far gone to support monogamy, or maybe the problem is the human species itself. But monogamy is rightfully romanticized. If it doesn’t work, it’s because we failed the ideal, not the other way around. We should be less romantic a…

"just" leave after kids, financial entanglement and investing years of your life into building a relationship with someone? That's not a normal take brother. Yes you can leave, but the point is you want to minimize the risk of having to leave.

They don’t, and that’s why we chose to not go that route anymore. For better or worse, men (and older patriarchal women) lifted the boot off women’s neck Are the consequences good? Jury is out on that. I am not sure unrestrained female sexuality/behavior is sustainable long term. Declining birth rates, societal breakdown like in the rat utopia experiment. I suppose our society will serve as the test case for this theory of gender relations. That’s why I think we need we need to “make the suicide…

Some things do last forever, though. Investments in yourself most of all. I know I sound like a fucking douchebag, and that is not my intent, but seeking empathy and support is generally more feminine than masculine. Now, being 100% masculine is unrealistic and unhealthy. Its ok to be in touch with your feminine side as a dude. But you probably should not seek empathy quite as much as women do and try to default to powering and self improving through your problems more. Not you specifically OP, …

Love is a recently invented modern concept, not a requisite. You are right though, should not have mentioned it in that context. Its ok for the woman to not love the man but just be moral, decent to him, give him sex and children, not betray him and not nag and make his life hell. It is only very stupid modern men like me that care about being loved by a woman, our male ancestors didn’t give a shit. They were smarter in that respect. Don’t emotionally invest in a passing breeze. Also keeps life …

If he didnt do crazy shit his wife would get bored of him being an unremarkable professor and cheat with her physical trainer You have to be actively retarded and psycho spiritually jestermaxx making your life into a zesty tragicomedy that has infinite room for critique so women don’t get bored. It requires you to bend the laws of logic and non-retardation Eve, pandora’s box etc. womens boredom is a long standing problem.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/26 10:58 PM

If what she did to me was unusual then i’d agree, but observation of people in real life as well as stats, online communities etc leads me to the conclusion that cheating/branch swinging is not that uncommon. To me its all a matter of degrees. If there is one woman on planet earth somewhere that has ethics that does nothing to dispel my spiritual malaise. /r/PurplePillDebate19/03/26 10:46 PM

Serial killers are rare, but cheaters and branch swingers are common. I cant put an exact percentage on it, but it could easily be over 50%

Right, but you’re allowed to have an opinion or stance towards life based on what it is. I don’t dispute that that’s life. Life has a right to be itself, and I have a right to adapt
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/26 10:44 PM

I think you should limit seeking empathy to whatever is needed to achieve mental clarity (ie others do not think i am crazy to be upset… or if they don’t think I’m right to be upset, what was my flawed premise) After that adjust your mindset and grind until you have resources and skill needed to reduce the probability of being hurt again. Get good at the game basically There will still be a part of you that is deeply spiritually unhappy and dissatisfied with how life is but it may go away as you…

Thats ok BUT Men can do the same thing women can do and just go into relationships and leave when he’s not happy It turns out not having sex makes the vast majority of men unhappy Its ok to have a boundary. I think I envy the people at work who achieved a sort of zen, zero-morality state where they say whatever the fuck they want on a resume, eventually get called out, but were already putting in new resumes so the bill for their behavior never really comes due. Seemed insane the first time I encountered someone doing frantic lateral moves like that. But then I realized, it's just an adaptation to an insane market. Tried giving me thoughts on this subject and reddit removed the post. Suffice to say, keep reading and learning from the sages of our past bro, there is nothing new about women today, but men in the past were not deluded by the equality narrative.

Sexually successful men includes russel brand, Harvey weinstein, epstein, R kelly, Diddy, etc. I feel like you're trying to make everything be the morally pure version of itself but a cursory examination of society shows that a sexually successful man is just as likely to be an asshole as a good virtuous person. Thats not TRP's fault but let's not go off the deep end here with just world fallacy thinking that all sexually successful men are "good" which would imply women are selecting for that a…

That "occasionally heartbreaking" is the problem. Drifting apart due to incompatibility or realizing you don't want the same things is ok, but when the other person was actively using you... cheating, branchswinging, just taking money/time/sex from you while planning their next move... That leaves a sour taste in my mouth. I can't quite look at humanity the same after experiencing betrayal. And it's all too common based on what I've read and seen. I think the anti-nice circlejerk has gone a little too far. Yes, niceness is often tied to inauthenticity, conflict avoidance, and a lack of boundaries, that's true. But you can easily horseshoe in the wrong direction and go all-in on every single disagreement or incompatibility and create a relationship that is rife with conflict over trivial issues. No relationship is perfect, no person is either. It would be good to call the other person out every single time he/she is wrong, or every single …

Not all men qualify for relationships (majority of men did not breed through history, women are hypergamous and rate majority of men as unattractive, etc). Maybe not all women qualify for monogamy either Welcome to equality

Wait wait wait… WHEN sex stops at some point? Not even “IF sex stops”? You are outside your mind if you think any man, anywhere is interested in being with a woman if sex is inevitably stopping at some point. Most women won’t even agree to that

Could also be the increase in mental health issues in women, any time I hear of a woman being physically abusive to one my friends she’s always BPD or bipolar

Basically just go all-in on alternatives to having an actual woman love you (which is borderline impossible for a large subset of men). Free chemical castration to any many who wants it. Huge government investment into sexbots, AI porn. Maybe incels get an “onlyfans stipend” or “prostitution stamps” or similar. Obviously prostitution needs to be legalized everywhere. Culturally I think the celibate man could be more lionized than he is. Asthetics, monks, shamans, other sexless male archetypes we…

Scientists have studied the y chromosome and discovered that the majority of men through ancient history and prehistory did not breed. It seems nature herself decided that the average man is a lemming and must give his existence in service of humanity while only the best men breed. The only thing weird here is the modern insistence that each life has equal value. This was not taken as an assumption until very recently in history. Most lives were lives of toil and squalor. Intense hierarchy impos…

Empathy is like a drug, you seek it out, it makes you feel better temporarily and long term you get weaker. You lose the ability to power through problems like an angry stoic loner curmudgeon and start needing people and their support more and more. I think this is ultimately why dudes feel hollow and unsatisfied after getting empathy. Some degree of empathy can help, maybe. Oh yes, its actually very interesting to me how sociopathic people can also be very empathetic and understanding as they lull you into a false sense of security shortly before plunging the knife in. Its an intriguing contrast. I think women are more bothered by it when considering a male as a possible romantic partner for herself If he’s an incel or whatever I think women are relieved that there is a professional class that can “defuse” him so he never goes on a rampage or negatively effects her in any way.

This would imply the average woman has the capacity to think all of this through to its logical conclusion OP. Probably not even the average male has the mental circuitry for all this. I think it's much simpler, western becky got told by feminism and social studies class that arranged marriage is an ugly old rich man beating and raping his young innocent wife every single night for 60 years and there is nothing she can do about it. Therefore Becky does not like arranged marriage. She was simply.…

I disagree, the market framing is healthy because it protects you from people who are parasocial, narcissistic users. If I had adopted it much sooner then I would have seen how truly one sided my relationship with my ex wife was and not have to go through 14 years of never being enough for her, only to be cheated on in the end. For those men I agree that they are fuckups and ignorant, destined to fail. However I have frequently seen the opposite problem where a non problematic dude will express his frustration with dating and then a female or BP commentator will arrive to confront him with “advice” that is really more about the narrative of “men suck and behave badly towards women and have toxic attitudes”….. because it takes very little provocation to get her started on that topic
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/26 05:40 PM

If the message was “improve your looks, status, money and attitude towards women” thats reasonable because it doesnt auto assume the guy is failing specifically because of a bad attitude towards women But the more blue pilled someone is the more likely they are to say flippant shit like “pretty sure the problem is your misogyny” or “treat women like human beings that could help” To the feminist hammer every male loser looks like a nail

Couldn’t disagree more. We only live once so you protect the only things that matter, your word and your balls. There is no problem from leaving that you can’t power through with your will. But loss of honor is unfixable Don’t think we will ever persuade each other on this.

Character and morality doesn't have the importance blue pillers claim until much further stages of a relationship. Yeah and even there if the woman is BPD or avoidant or just vaguely sociopathic/evil DND alignment - which exists in far greater numbers than people want to admit - then you being a good person to her will just result in incompatibility Some women don’t actually want you to be good. A dirty secret of reality that we are supposed to minimize

I think you’re missing the core point Immoral men are successful with women. Boring nice guys fail and then with annoying frequency they are told to “just be a better person bro” which, by your own analysis solves nothing as the factors that lead a woman to sleep with a man have absolutely nothing to do with that It’s advice given because it makes the advice giver feel good and morally superior. Not because it will help the recipient and not founded in realities of dating

I think women do support each other emotionally, buy little gifts, go out to eat or have fun together, etc but what’s being talked about in the OP is like that effort multiplied by 5… expensive stuff, long interesting high effort vacations.. you might do that with your female best friend but probably not every friend. It’d be too taxing Men don’t even do this shit for each other, we hang out, play vidya, do BJJ beat the shit out of each other, make fun of each other, fart, laugh. So doing it for…

My friend keeps urging me to try out escorts and casual sex for this reason. He says it’s enlightening to experience that the “deal” a woman gives you in a relationship is often financially and emotionally inferior to what you can get from an escort or sugar baby or woman who’s also just out for casual sex. Would theoretically make me less likely to put up with bullshit from women in future relationships I’m an old school romantic though :/

The point is that morality is over emphasized by people who want to give men dating “advice”. Usually the morality of the dude in question is not what’s holding him back, but for some reason more bluepilled types LOVE the idea that any man who complains about dating must be harboring toxic views about women or whatever. I have almost never heard a man attribute his success to women to being a good man. It’s always “I improved my confidence” or “i got in shape” or “I practiced talking to people u…

I disagreed with the other version of this post and I'll disagree with this one too. There is such a thing as maturity, wisdom, standards that do not vary no matter what amount of lust or attraction you're feeling. Men and women both have free will.

Because they came from a good family that taught them to appreciate things. I also don't think abuse factors into sexual success much. I do think there is a degree of this going on most of the time OP, especially with younger women and more... I don't know a kind way to put it, but dumber women. Dumber people tend to view situations as binary, and to over-identify with others based on demographic similarity rather than mental/ethical similarity. Hmmm yeah you're right, I'm being too harsh on all women generally. I think the point I'm trying to make is that you have to have a system for dealing with the bad people, too. Can't assume everyone is going to be good or even ... medium, in terms of morality. Life has unfortunately taught me that being able to compute and judge and form systems for dealing with people objectively is more important than the capacity for love. The latter is a luxury, the former a necessity.

We did do 50/50, but in my state, there's still child support allocated based on income disparity. There is no enforcement mechanism to ensure the money gets spent on the child after you're removed from your ex wife's life. Your post seems maximally calibrated to try and make men seem somehow bad when in reality they’re just humans like women responding to incentives, having to go through life, get treated well by some members of the opposite sex and badly by others, have to adapt their behavior to not get taken advantage of… etc. There’s not this huge gap between men and women where men are somehow worse than women, physiologically our brains aren’t different enough for that. No woman ever considers herself to be an argumentative, contrarian, conflict seeking, narcissistic, domineering, caustic, aggressive, arrogant bitch, yet many are. How do you filter these women? Love is a cognitively overloaded term. Infatuation, raw physical lust, dedication/commitment, warm companionate love, and even familial ties, are all separate things that get cognitively muddled together under the umbrella concept of love. My opinion OP: You need the willingness to build skill as well as the ability to shrug off bad RNG and not feel too bad about yourself. Both are needed. If dating is completely unpredictable then all you get is the cope part and not the skill part.

Why do women engage in casual sex then OP? Genuine question. Brainwashed by eight seasons of sex in the city?

Were they taught to? Or is it an evolutionary outgrowth of the fact that sperm is cheaper than eggs and so in the vast majority of sexed species men compete over women rather than the converse?

Men can overpower women.

Competing with them as if you're in the same race is just weird. It's not weird if you believe in egalitarianism as a moral imperative that applies universally and not just a cudgel to batter your enemies with when convenient.

Solve through technology: get a vasectomy. This is my solution to the problem OP. Same thing will eventually happen with abortion, once artificial womb is perfected then the logic of "I can't be forced to be an incubator" no longer works and men can now adopt the baby and force the woman to pay him. Ofc when this happens there will almost immediately be legislation that unwanted babies have to be paid for by the state so you'll be proved right at that point in history OP. We can reconvene to dis…

I wish men were as smart as women, then NiceGuy behaviors would not be framed as rapey and instead get classified as "unpaid emotional labor" and eventually lead to legally mandated financial reparations from women.

Is a race to the bottom really a good thing, OP? Food for thought. Maybe good that you're free to be a bigger dickhead than the person already being a dickhead to you? Seems like the winner of that contest doesn't gain much in the long run. Cooperative strategies beat competitive ones long term, otherwise human beings would not be social animals. Also... I guess maybe you didn't consider that the "younger woman" the guy is leaving for is eventually going to cause untold psychic and financial har…

I do think there is something to the idea that women are putting more mental pressure on themselves than their male counterparts. What else explains the fact that they have more education and higher pay now? Not to mention retaining their larger friend circles and larger median (if this is to be believed I guess) number of sex partners, putting more effort into the domestic sphere, etc. There is a conversation that is defeaning because of the extent to which it does NOT happen in our society, an…

Yes, and the male response was just a counter to women wanting a relationship but then treating you abominably when in the relationship, ie, reducing sex, trying to manipulate you, being overly entitled with their demands etc. And that behavior from women was a counter to male laziness and over-optimization of life leading to slightly suboptimal outcomes for her and her progeny... and THAT was a counter to excess caloric expenditure or unnecessary physical risk which led to the deaths of many a …

If you refuse to touch a hot stove, aren't you only refraining out of fear of getting burned? Yes, but not all fear is invalid. Do you expect people to be weak minded and approval-seeking enough to slam their hand down on a hot stove just to prove a point to you OP? Your point about dying for your spouse but not accepting disrespect from them is much weaker than you think. Death-before-dishonor was the norm for male cultures through most of human history. Still is in many places. It is much bett…
