The laws is hard to implemented, that's why there are some adjustment from developers, because even in small buildings with 2 stalls for male, they need to make 10 stalls for female. Probably they made newer guidelines for gender neutral bathrooms because they realized how absurd the laws was (just my speculation), but most buildings from 2015-2024 were built with those 1:5 criteria in mind.

The history was very interesting, it was the result of protest by feminist in 1996 lead by NTU student, they blocked entries for male toilets. They don't have separate urinals to compensate, it is included in the total size. Imagine how small it is compared to public toilet for women. Just go to toilet in mrt station and see it for yourself. The new guidelines for new public toilet is about gender neutral public toilet, but even then in practice its mostly female & gender neutral while erasing male only toilets.

This is nothing compared to the true gender discrimination of public toilet in Taiwan. Taiwan law requires public buildings, schools, and transit stations to maintain a male-to-female toilet fixture ratio of at least 1:5, and 1:3 for offices and malls. Because the feminist demand it and the government agree. 1:5! For every one stall for male, there must be 5 stalls for female. I think it's the highest in the world? Where you living is also matter. It can be very dangerous especially in countries with many gun possessions by citizens, like in US and Thailand. In Singapore or Monaco, I think your risk will be minimal.

I think the situation is kinda different though, I will help without hesitation if it's not making me in a dangerous situations, and I did in the past, like helping someone who fell down from the stairs, did some CPR, etc. But I will not interfere if the situation will danger me, like kidnapping, robbery, or fighting between people. Best I will do is calling the authorities or emergency.

Honestly I don’t know, but holy shit at South Korea and South Africa numbers. It’s not like Taiwan is an egalitarian country either with male only conscription. Furthermore, I don’t think they are a happier country if their extremely low birth rates is any indication (one of the lowest in the world). Perhaps it’s Chinese culture? In China (PRC) the m/f ratio is also <2.

Honestly, I think this is a good regulation IF ONLY it's applicable for both gender, the sexualization of male athletes in tiktok are endless. The sad parts is, many of the those male athletes are underage, especially in the diving categories in asia, they are all over douyin, tiktok, and youtube.

At your age I would just chill, not that 50s is old or anything, but I saw how my family burning bridges in their 50s, and it's not ending well for them. Perhaps telling her "I am just like you, we are living with our own way" and still caring for each other is enough.

Depends on what rights you want, right wings are usually anti-atheism, anti-gay, anti-immigration, etc which definitely limits men rights. They, in many countries, also the want who is pro male only military service, which again very anti-male. I think it’s really depends by country, but in general both left and wing are not pro men. In some case, right wing are worst for men especially in aspect of wars.

I don’t have data about victorian eras, but you can just look at gmat, gre, IB, or Cambridge exams from 20 years ago and now. The differences of paragraphs is huge, both questions and answers getting longer, while pure numerical analysis actually getting smaller.

Men need to be more independent and relying less to romantic relationships; It's better for both genders. Honestly I don't know the reason why men extremely rely upon their women romantic relationships; If today's most women can be independent, so can most men. Is it because of cultural? Religion?
