2 Years Post-Separation (1.5 Years Post-Divorce Update)Good story. Best of luck. | /r/Divorce_Men | 16/04/25 07:36 PM
I, A MAN, won in court, but “winning “ still costs.Great story. Enjoyed reading it. The first thing I thought was that as your son approached 18 she was after one more cash grab. Good Job. | /r/Divorce_Men | 12/04/25 06:16 PM
At a fork in the roadMakes one wonder just what exactly has changed between her insisting on a divorce, to wanting to stay married. I have my suspicions but I'm not there. | /r/Divorce_Men | 03/04/25 07:15 PM
Ex showed up with her new boyfriend to drop off our sonIf I had to hazard a guess, I would say that at some point she will be coming to you for emotional support. You know, after her new friend moves on to another woman. Indifference is your friend when interacting with your ex. Concentrate on being a better you. It will all work out. | /r/Divorce_Men | 23/03/25 05:06 AM
"Do Men Even Like Women Anymore?"I am SO happy to hear that said. I just read a phrase that has been rolling around in my mind ever since. 'Child of Chaos'. I can attribute so much about my life to that idea. | /r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen | 15/03/25 02:18 PM
"Do Men Even Like Women Anymore?"The last (obviously undesired) option. | /r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen | 15/03/25 02:15 PM
"Do Men Even Like Women Anymore?"No. Men should check out of the situation. Life single is sooo much better. | /r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen | 15/03/25 02:08 PM
"Do Men Even Like Women Anymore?"I also prefer that many women stay single. | /r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen | 15/03/25 02:02 PM

I could really use some adviceYou would regret leaving. | /r/Divorce_Men | 06/03/25 09:12 PM
What did you do with the engagement ring she left behind? You are amazingly lucky that she left it. Diamonds are losing value because of lab created stones. Try to sell it. Soon. Keep the gold. Its' value is rising. | /r/Divorce_Men | 02/03/25 08:28 PM
"Do Men Even Like Women Anymore?"I have lots more of my money now. My home is a peaceful haven. My dog is much better company. I get a big kick out of women that come into my home for whatever reason. (deliveries or whatever) The muted surprised look. 'A regular man made this place?' | /r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen | 02/03/25 02:10 PM
Questions about couples therapyNot all. | /r/Divorce_Men | 18/02/25 08:33 PM
Who is she? That choice will certainly be regretted. Felon...jeez. You're doing all the right things. The anxiety/depression thing is tough. I found that recognizing the feelings of each and taking a second to get a grip, that helped me. Everyone is different of course. Good luck. | /r/Divorce_Men | 04/02/25 01:12 AM
For recently divorced menGreat story. | /r/Divorce_Men | 29/01/25 04:56 PM
Ex-wife engaged less than 7 months.Bar manager.... | /r/Divorce_Men | 25/01/25 06:03 PM
Ex-wife engaged less than 7 months.OK. I just saw the problem. 'Worked at the Bar'. Been there brother. From now on, for me, that is a huge red flag. | /r/Divorce_Men | 25/01/25 05:33 PM
She's upset that I moved on so quickly - and she's the one who left'So quickly'. That's really funny. Since she was quickly moving on while still married. | /r/Divorce_Men | 22/01/25 04:53 PM
She PlottedLove it.👍 | /r/Divorce_Men | 21/01/25 07:33 PM
She PlottedWhile I agree with you wholeheartedly, we have to be careful with any, I have to repeat , ANY negative language about women. As you can see from some of the above comments, there're women that creep this sub looking for things to report. I used to like the MGTOW sub but guys used 'hateful' language and they shut the sub down. I don't want that to happen here. Conversely a quick look at some of the FDS type subs is eye opening. | /r/Divorce_Men | 21/01/25 07:17 PM
She PlottedMy translation of 'you need to communicate your feelings more is ... 'I don't have any real reason for dumping you, I need to see some emotional weakness scenes so I can really feel disrespect for you.' I have always regretted sharing my feelings with a partner. It was always used against me. ALWAYS. | /r/Divorce_Men | 21/01/25 02:43 PM
She PlottedAll true. | /r/Divorce_Men | 21/01/25 02:37 PM
When did life get better?I think you are taking all the right steps. Therapy is a good step. Working through the anger was important for me. Knowing the 'why' of my motivations was eye opening. I cut certain things and people out of my life. Now I feel a lot of peace. I have these belly clutching laughing fits about things I see and hear. I asked my counselor about it and they said...'you're happy'. Huh...it happened so slowly I kinda didn't notice. | /r/Divorce_Men | 09/01/25 10:17 AM
Advice for a man seeing the end of marriage coming? If possible try to mothball your side income until after the divorce so that that income cannot be used as an issue. Do you have a secure area at work (personal safe) that you can store liquid assets? Do you have personal items (from hobbies or whatever) that you can quietly sell to produce liquid assets to save. Spend time getting in shape. This is emphasized a lot but is important for many reasons. It keeps the mind occupied. | /r/Divorce_Men | 08/01/25 12:04 PM
I still love her but I have discovered that I don't need herAnd I will always consider my exs to be selfish lying spendthrifts that took advantage of an unfair legal system with the help and guidance of their friends. I sleep just fine at night. I wonder if they do? | /r/Divorce_Men | 06/01/25 09:50 PM
I still love her but I have discovered that I don't need her"Put themselves in that situation again". Absolutely right. There is something else. I have learned that at some point, if you stay completely away from the ex, they tell you that you weren't the monster they (and their cronies) said you were. | /r/Divorce_Men | 06/01/25 07:59 PM
January Divorce WarningSome people cannot accept responsibility for anything. Everything (negative) must be someone else's fault. One of the things I wish I had known when I was younger. | /r/Divorce_Men | 02/01/25 12:46 PM
Any tips and advice that has helped you level up in any way, shape, form1) No one wants to hear your problems. 2) Smile. It attracts people. And, strangely, listen to other people's issues. It helps. 3) People want what they can't have. | /r/Divorce_Men | 01/01/25 12:40 PM

"The real reason for the rise in male childlessness"YES. Kindness for weakness. Both of my exs were stunned when I stood up and flipped them off. They were like 'wow, where did that come from.? It was there all along, you just confused kindness for weakness. | /r/MensRights | 05/11/24 09:33 PM
"The real reason for the rise in male childlessness"I find this statement to be absolutely true. I am 67. After 2 marriages I now understand, thanks to the family court system, my position in the world. I've been single for over 20 years. I have plenty to live on and am very happy. I had to start over financially at 45. With zero. Zip. Nothing. I take great pleasure watching those that have taken advantage of the family court and are now near penniless. | /r/MensRights | 05/11/24 08:49 PM

House vs 401KI may be the odd men out here but I will always opt for cash. It gives me many more options. It doesn't tie me to one spot. It will not usually hit me with huge additional costs. (Roof. Plumbing, HVAC, Tax increases, etc.) Save a bit and buy a newer place when your life settles down a bit. | /r/Divorce_Men | 12/10/24 11:22 AM
Spiteful things your wife does?Marriage counseling is a stupendous waste of money and time. Your wife has checked out. Time for you to start condensing your assets. | /r/Divorce_Men | 11/10/24 11:41 AM
