I deleted it. It was too vague to come across properly and gave off too much giving men credit vibes. But the gist was a good man with give you whatever you want. Marriage included even if it originally wasn't something he saw for himself.

That is mostly what the post is about. Certainly people don't need marriage to be happy. However, we see time and time again women being hurt financially and with their futures out of their hands with purchasing property with a non legally bound partner. It's not so much about happiness and while in the post she is unhappy he has not proposed yet, but more the realities of not endangering ourselves with financial contracts with others not bound to us and bound to responsibility.

He wont propose. She has been wanting it for years and he hasn't done it yet and seems to have no plans to. Top comments were when I looked last : Other women in the same position telling her to hang in there. People saying she just needs to CoMMunIcAte.

She's already used to men not being able to make her orgasm. So an SSRI to help with her depression wasn't going to change her already lame sex experience.

What a bad year this is. As a young woman I am so so worried for women with young daughters. She was a bedrock of support for our rights in the Uniter States. Below are just a fraction of the works this amazing woman has done for our working rights, education rights, financial rights, reproductive rights, health care rights and rights to safety. Weinberger v. Weisenfeld, 420 U.S. 636. Ginsburg, on behalf of the Women’s Rights Project, successfully argues that a provision of the Social Security A…

I dance more! I don't know if i would call it a hobby but i dance in my house almost every day. When i feel it, and how i feel it i just go for it and its been really uplifting. I also got a cat recently so he has been taking up my time as well to make sure he levels up too! I guess going back for my degree when i am in the industry already is my new official hobby haha! Go STEM for women

Sucks they hate us so much, when honestly we would welcome them here or on levelup any time. All we can do is pour one out for the sis until maybe someday a miracle happens.

Ok like question, do we think maybe she married a LVM and felt safe with him as an option and now he has been really turning into a HVM she is getting insecure? At least insecure enough to post on Reddit of all places. IDK any woman i know would be thrilled to have a partner who is holding their own so its weird that she sees this growth as a red flag. I mean the way she describes him in the beginning is really not how i would want my partner to describe me, first as by my overweight body to let…

Im with a tall 6 figure hottie with a body and he has only ever uplifted my self image inside and out. The ugly or short guys i dated only ever wanted to bring me down. Hot dudes i have found are kind, considerate, and active. Not the case for uggos.

"Ugly people want to think the world is fair, so pretty people must have something equally ugly about their very being." This so much!!! It comes from women too!! Like if a girl is skinny and pretty and has lots of friends she must be secretly a total bitch who has no personality.

Oh yes, me and my inferior lady brain just can't recognize when a man is being appreciative of me or is actively being a shit. God these posts are such bullshit. I'm sure that the guys who post these think doing the absolute minimum basic bitch requirements to be considered a LVM instead of a NVM think they are some sort of superman-esq HVM. Like no, taking me to a movie and making some cheap $1 noodle spaghetti and picking up your own dishes is not appreciative behavior. ( I am assuming thats t…

Im doing the same thing with glasses. Buying a bunch and intentionally leaving them everywhere so i run into them when i need them! Car glasses, purse glasses, office glasses, other purse glasses, kitchen glasses, living room glasses. Just everywhere! Same with pens and pads of paper for my list making. But we aren't broken. We are doing our best with the brain we've got because no one is ever going to give us a different one.

Some peoples level of disability are higher than others.

Meds can be expensive. Mine at one point were $300 a month for generics. That was a huge issue. Therapy and coaching as well can have really high costs for what may not work.

:( I worry that i will be taken as the SO in the post. I have ADD and take meds to help deal with it. The part about getting things to 90% hits home with me hard. It's nearly impossible to finish a task. Being home all the time has been horrible and I cant wait until things can go back to how they were again. It sounds like hiring someone to clean is a good strategy. And honestly was the strategy my S/O and I were going to implement just before covid hit. Its a good one! And it's not financially…

I like the book in that it shows that you can give without asking for anything in return which is a valuable lesson in a lot of areas especially children who are developing empathy kindness and consideration for others. Growing up I never gave the tree a gender. It was just the tree. If anything I would consider the tree to be a parent to the boy. I think it would be just as good of a book if it were about a tree and a little girl.

Can we please start using the word women. I am honestly so bothered by seeing comments like "No man who's taken should be getting any females numbers?" I hate bullshit like this. Stop referring to people by genitals.

I feel this so hard. Looking at subs like waiting to wed or seeing posts on relationships with people in 10 year long relationships and not knowing when the commitment will come kills me.

The green flags are mostly qualities you could also find in a cat. -Sees potential in you - Is intelligent - Passionate about computers - Loves you very much - Is handsome - Is hygienic - Nice to snuggle - Cats like him ALL OF THESE COULD DESCRIBE A CAT

My boyfriend (27) picks up a 6pack of beer a couple times a year. He doesn't drink often at all. Last time was 5 months ago having a couple glasses of wine when we were at a company party of his before COVID hit. He doesn't have anything against drinking and honestly i'll being an alcoholic seltzer to the pool when I go sometimes. But to him its just not a regular thing.

Any HVM will love and support a woman being in a group that empowers women to see the worthwhile person they are. My S/O knows and supports me being in this group. He knows i have struggled with self worth in the past and wants to help empower me to see myself as I am! Drop any LVM that isn't supportive of women empowerment groups!

This is why we go for HVM! I have the same allergy and my boyfriend went out and bought some simple white gold earrings for me. I didn't want to spend it as i was in school but he said " You like wearing earrings and I don't want your ears bothered, things that are medically necessary aren't gifts." That man to this day says he's bought me 1 gift. A dress I liked in a shop. Everything else were just regular costs because he values the time he spends with me.

I love this entire thread. I know it's old but my god i feel this in my BONES!!! As someone who is with a HVM who did not even stop to give me a budget on an engagement ring. ( Although I did go lab grown for the ethical issues and the ring came out to around $4000 ) He only ever wanted me to pick out what made ME happy. Spending time on the engagement ring sub and all these threads is infuriating. Like all the women who hate their ring but keep it because it was a family heirloom and they save …
