You'll have to do your own experiments to see if this works, and report back

and what have you done that you are proud of, that you think would appeal to the type of women you'd like to date? I assume you're not looking to start a family

Do you work 2 jobs or are you saying you'd have to in order to buy a house? How much do you make?

"Nice guy" is known as a bad thing among women. If a girl comes home from a date and tells her friends he was "nice", they all understand that's a bad thing. So no, women wouldn't say that just being nice is enough to attract a woman.

No but it could tell you what bait it likes :)

Fair enough! I certainly agree that wanting a different kind of life from what I consider normal is reasonable, though this is of course a vague statement. > settled for by women they barely desire enough Everyone enters the world with certain expectations and most people eventually alter and often lower those expectations when they see what the world has to offer. I personally don't see a problem with that overall—everyone is trying to achieve their goals, men and women both. There are pure vir…

What's being expected of you? (and how old are you?)
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/25 11:36 PM

Are you not red pill?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/25 11:31 PM

Both. > I think they're already shitty to begin with. I would say that a 13 year old boy can be getting influenced by Jordan Peterson, Passport bros, Red pill etc. - but isn't necessarily gone at that point - he could turn out better or worse depending on what role models and ideas are available to him
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/25 11:25 PM

I think some women (and men) are justifiably concerned that certain online echo chambers are having a negative impact on lonely and impressionable men, leading what could have been many normal guys down rabbit holes that only some get out of in a reasonable amount of time and unscathed.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/25 11:18 PM

If a woman wants to have a family, then I don't think it matters much whether she's personally ambitious. Someone needs to make money while/after she's pregnant, and probably 2 someones need to work.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/12/25 09:09 PM

No. Most people want to live a life first, which for many, includes things that cost a lot of money - like kids and travel.

OP, tell this to the "close friend" from your story^

The best case scenario is that the guy in the "friendzone" realizes that him and the girl are not the right match, and is able to otherwise keep his ego out of it—ie. not wallow in pity, thinking about how he deserves the girl more etc. - but rather keeps looking elsewhere for a proper match for himself. If the girl wants to be compassionate, she can help this process by showing how her new partner is a good match in some way that makes the friend not a good match. That could be in a million dif…

In certain situations it's good, and in others bad.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/12/25 10:35 PM

Thanks, appreciate your response. If you have time I'd be interested to hear about this: > when I've voiced that concern before, I've been met with very hostile responses from women I work with. Like I'd be curious to hear a specific concern and how they thought about it - did they completely deny that it was an issue? or did they think it was an issue but it was ok because they think girls have competing issues to deal with?

Sure, I'll summarize my point and if I misinterpreted you, lmk. You said that it's entitlement if someone says "it’s not fair that attractive men have it so easy". I said that just saying "it’s not fair that attractive men have it so easy" isn't necessarily entitlement. Rather, it's someone shining a light on their challenge in life. You said: But we already know about their challenges. Now it's turned from shining a light to punching down on women I said: Ok, so we agree that the man's challeng…

Even if you're right that women's pornography use is more "deranged" on average (which I find questionable or at least highly subjective), it's still true that women use porn way less than men do. And when they do use porn, they're much more likely to be using literary smut rather than porn with actors, and I don't think there is a large movement of women who are against literary pornography. So what you're describing as "deranged" pornography use can't be easily mapped to "any woman's points" o…
/r/PurplePillDebate06/12/25 05:34 PM

Because I found your comment interesting and want to hear about your experience. I personally don't know men who would say that misandry is a regular part of their life - I've more heard it discussed as a more high-level issue or occasional issue.

> how “cold approaching” (or whatever dating strategy) is sexuality I could argue with you about this, but it doesn't prove or disprove my comment above, that you are falsely narrowing the definition of sexuality. According to one definition from the American Psychological Association, "Sexuality...can also include all aspects of sexual behavior, including gender identity, orientation, attitudes, and *activity*."

"Sexually average" men are visible for their status (money, education, assets etc.). "Sexually average" women are visible for their sexuality. Neither is amazing
/r/PurplePillDebate06/12/25 04:49 PM

who's they?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/12/25 04:46 PM

Can you say how you experience misandry regularly in your daily life?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/12/25 04:39 PM

As a man, I don't think that's true of most men, and certainly don't think it's more true of men than of women.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/12/25 04:38 PM

I'm a man and have never personally met a politician or CEO that I can recall - and yet I know tons of men in happy relationships and whose female partners seem to see them just fine :)

the facebook link isn't loading for me. Where in this wiki article does it say that looking at a woman for 0.1 seconds in the gym means you'll get tossed out and strung up?

Why would any sane adult have a kid if they didn't want one? Do you not consider that both irrational and immoral? If men are en masse pumping out kids they don't want, then that's their issue.

skipping town for a 25-year old is one example that does in fact represent a generality, which is that, when a relationship is breaking down, men are less likely to formally file a divorce - meaning that they prefer to stay in the bad relationship. So since they're in these bad relationships and not formally ending them, that means they are more likely to start acting out or emotionally leaving the relationship - ie. cheating, abandoning, emotionally distancing, abusing etc. - whatever happens w…

I'm not even sure that OF is all that "accepted" in normal society - rather it's just one of those things that is pushed along by super high market demand and supply. What's accepted in society is a general sense that consenting adults should be able to do what they want with each other, and that includes things like OF

You're thinking of "sexual orientation", which is a much more narrow term.

Just because you can explain this phenomenon (ie. that attractive men do better than unattractive ones) doesn't automatically mean that it's not worth shining a light on the experiences of unattractive men. An analogy would be; just because a certain society can explain the societal/family-level value of having women only be stay-at-home-moms doesn't mean it's not worth hearing about the experience of those women.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/12/25 03:55 PM

> Meanwhile the unattractive man is getting called creepy for looking in the same direction as a woman in the gym for 0.1 seconds. You're exaggerating which is muddying your point. In reality, neither of the men you describe would face any real issue in the gym as long as they are not ogling women (ie. staring at them in a way that makes them feel like they are being view sexually *without consent*).

many things in relationships and sex go unsaid. If you need everything 100% spelled out in plain language, you might be autistic (which is fine, but don't expect everyone to cater to you).

1 - I didn't delete the comment, I can see it in this thread and in my profile. 2 - I'm not having an issue, just arguing that your high-level approach to dating is unattractive regardless of gender. 3 - It's not a false equivalency; the fact that you don't like pegging is exactly why the analogy works. Your dislike of getting pegged is analogous to women who dislike having sex with men that find them "boring as shit" but may fake interest and/or pretend to be someone they're not to have sex. Ju…

A person with no social skills is not automatically an asshole. If you're a woman with no social skills, you can still be nice (and awkward) - that part isn't difficult

He said that "most women are boring as shit". He doesn't like women
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/25 02:32 PM

Is that not possible at the same time as doing what I mentioned?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/25 09:07 PM

There's a difference between 1. telling a woman to lower her expectations, ie. "go have sex with that nerdy guy who doesn't pass your normal tests for attraction" and 2. opening a conversation in society about how certain expectations may be unrealistic, or morally grey, or originating in outdated ideas that aren't relevant. Preferences are real and should be respected on an individual level, yes - but they come from somewhere, and we can change them slowly when it makes sense to do so.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/25 03:28 PM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
