I've always said: women have it harder biologically, while men have it harder socially. Our problems stem not from a biological cause like mentruation, but rather from a social cause - for example men-only spaces are often seen as misoginyst, while women-only spaces are not seen as misandrist (which is good, both are not wrong).

As a catholic - no, I won't stop forgiving. But there is one very important thing to note: forgiveness ≠ giving another chance. You can forgive, but still choose to not engage in further interaction.
