I don't know how to answer that. My wife was and still is to some extent the love of my life and the only woman who ever actually loved me for who I was. When she started straying though, it really made me rethink all of that and whether it was all a lie and made me wonder if maybe she was just desperate to find a man who could tolerate her mentally ill son and latched into the first one that didn't make her throw up at the thought of being intimate with.

Oh true! I was just stating some things I wish were a little different.

Yeah when she just stands there and points at someone else's video is really annoying to me. Like, can you elaborate on that a little at least?

That's how I feel about her and the Advocate. I feel like a lot of times their only experience is from the things their guys do and say, and not necessarily applicable to a lot of men. Sometimes I find myself thinking "I don't do that." Emily did a video once about gifts that guys don't like, and there were a couple of those that I actually did like lol

Having Snapchat as a grown adult should be considered a red flag too. You catch her making kissing faces at the phone but she'll say it's for one of her kids or another family member even though you didn't ask.

I thought I found the unicorn. I saw the red flags, subtle as they were, but pretended they weren't there.

this is why a lot of dudes should go for a girl who likes them more (slightly below their looks match) than they like the girl. she naturally will feel you are out of her league and so you need less of the fake tough guy act It's fucked up because that's how our relationship started. I'm not sure when the power dynamic switched, but I didn't notice until it was too late.

If anything, a man would get a second or third job to keep the family afloat. You know that saying: "Men will sacrifice their happiness for their family. Women will sacrifice their family for their happiness."

My wife always complained about how angry and unpredictable I was. I took steps to turn it around and made almost a complete 180 over the years. Now she's seeking companionship from others, so I guess I shouldn't have bothered.

Maybe the guy in question followed some bad advice like "tell her how you feel" or saw the way a guy he views as a "Chad" talks to women or tried to emulate the persistent main character in a romantic comedy. Otherwise, yeah I agree with you

Right. You could do an experiment on the relationship advice sub and prove it easily. Go on there as a woman complaining about her husband's clothes and most of the sub would take your side. Make a similar post with the sexes reversed and be castrated and crucified on a burning cross.

As an autistic person, I actually have the opposite problem. I always end up showing no interest out of a combination of anxiety and simply not being able to tell if she is attracted to me or not. Now in the past when I was a teenager / young adult, I was way too forward as described in the OP because I had huge misunderstandings about how attraction and dating worked, but now I've gone to the other extreme and just kinda became invisible.

I'd also like to add that when I see that phrase, it's usually in response to ridiculous dating profile demands.

There's a certain mod on that sub. The same one that took out AHC. Just waiting in the wings to destroy cringetopia. This move is wise for them.

And of course from what little we see of the profile picture it's a years-old one from her modeling days

That's how mine is too. She'll point out a nice ass or a pretty face, but she does get irritated if I agree a little too enthusiastically, but there's enough mutual respect that it doesn't happen too often.

Your only "reward" for meeting all of these requirements is that she might think twice before cheating on you, and you might get to have sex with her once in a while. They really think their presence is that valuable that it's all they need to offer

For anyone stumbling upon this post in the future: you ever wonder why you think you were hitting it off with her and then all of a sudden she just disappears off the face of the Earth? No longer answering calls, maybe standing you up for a date you had planned in advance? This is why. Almost always. Some Bernard swoops in with an eggplant emoji.

Do you think they realize they're projecting that badly, or is it a subconscious thing? There's no way they can be aware and still do it.

So many women going on a hookup app looking for LTRs. Why? My theory is that's the highest concentration of Chads. Sadly for the ladies though, they only want hookups, because we'll that's what the app was designed for

The second you do or say something that doesn't entertain them, 99% of the time you'll never hear from them again. Then it's always "you're not owed an explanation" "you aren't entitled to a relationship", blah blah blah, which yes, those are true, but don't say those things and then doxx and try to get a guy fired for doing the same thing.

The funny thing is, I've seen some celebrity photos, and I mean hot celebrities, rich and famous women. Even they are with these guys that look incredibly average. One of them was tall, but had severe dad bod. Like I barely even work out and I look better than he did. A couple of the other ones I saw the guys were really average and not more than probably 5'8" maybe less. I wish I had saved the pictures because it was shocking to me. Shocking that celebrities have more realistic standards than t…

I learned this the hard way when I had to start dating again a few years ago. I purposely sought out women that were 4-6 years older than me in hopes that they would have matured, but nope

Happened to me once, but during the date. The guy she was talking to before me started texting her again. Sure enough the date ended pretty quickly. Weird thing though, the guy ended up dying a few months later

Lowtax is still doing Gaming Garbage on YouTube once in a while. No Schmorky anymore, but thank Christ for that. I loved Something Awful but never wanted to pay to be on the forums, but I like the rules. My favorite is "If you're going to be racist, it better be funny, or else you're getting banned" lol.

Cut her off. Why haven't you yet? Blackmail or something? I'm not trying to be confrontational, just trying to understand. If it's private then you don't have to answer.

I bet there were a bunch of comments telling her to try and work it out before doing anything drastic. She ignored them, maybe even got offended that they didn't validate her premade decision and called them misogynist or incel or some shit. If not her, then some kweens did on her behalf.

At least she had the sense to warn others not to fall into the same trap. Can't fault her for that. Now whether anyone listens or not is another story. Got a nice vindictive laugh out of it too
