They’re sex workers doing a job.

I hate to break it to you, but women in porn are acting - they don’t feel any desire for the men they’re fucking. Like, at all.

Right. PP is conflating physical attraction with good sex. Every woman that has ever had shitty sex with a good-looking dude would like a word.

It’s reasonable to want to have great sex with your partner. But to concern oneself with being the “best” sex your partner has ever had is a product of insecurity and/or competitiveness most of the time—it’s ego gratification, and it’s natural and normal. You just need to keep that need for ego gratification in check. Don’t let it consume you. And don’t even be having conversations that involve ranking ex partners sexually in any way ffs. The sex that you’re having presently is all that matters.

Brilliantly put. Honestly, so much of red pill ideology is completely arbitrary.

I do think that men and women “perform”love differently because of gender conventions. BUT I also think that men AND women tend to fall in love for what their counterpart provides them, whether that’s good feelings (arousal, happiness, pride, excitement) good company, a good environment—or a combination of all of the above.

I agree that men that are vulnerable to red pill ideology become “bitter” after negative experiences with women—but, again, that has nothing to do with romantic love. That bitterness is just trauma response. Just think: so many red pillers have never been able to even fall in love because they’ve been rejected by women again and again—which is traumatic. And, again, red pill methods are about using control to prevent reoccurrence of that trauma.

All of those methods are about power—not romantic love. Red pill calls on men to close themselves off emotionally, avoid commitment, and foster insecurity in the women they date as a means of controlling the power dynamic in a relationship. Love has nothing to do with it. It’s more about self-protection—“women can’t hurt your feelings or cause you any trauma if you can control them.”

Devastated. It’s like losing a loved one to a cult. The hardest things to deal with: The knowledge that your partner no longer sees you as an individual or even a human being. Everything that makes me “me” is irrelevant because I’m a woman, which makes me a lesser life form AND an enemy combatant, apparently. He just doesn’t see me anymore. Maybe he never did. I don’t know. That I find myself wondering if he ever actually loved me—which is ironic since he believes my gender renders me incapable …

There’s nothing mind boggling about it—you’re just overthinking it. These women have sex with your friend because they find him attractive and because they want to. Generally speaking, that’s true of many young people of all genders (in western countries, anyway)—they fuck around and experiment with people because they’re attracted to them and because they want to. They have flings and short term relationships and long term relationships with people to whom they’re attracted in the moment. The i…
