I mean its pretty accepted that higher supply of labor and no corresponding increase in demand for that labor leads to lower wages. Its true for tech jobs, and its true for construction/farm work...

that may be true in general but even if .1% of thai women are going after western men, thats plenty for it to be believable that western guys arent paying for sex and if they are hot they can hook up at a bar/club lol

I found out about passport bros through YouTube stuff, the focus was more on the positives off cheap cost of living and better dating opportunities. And i traveled explicitly for the purpose of being somewhere I could get more tinder matches. I mean i had other reasons too but that’s at least 50% why. So I associated PPB with that stuff not the toxic incel Reddit stuff. I don’t think a vocal minority on Reddit represents passport Bros in real life, as Reddit is full of extremely online weirdos a…

Ok if your trying to say paying for extremely cheap food and drinks, with no guarantee of anything sexual happening is equivalent to prostitution then I guess you win the argument

I mean sure maybe they paid for the $5 meal and some beers due to their privledge of winning the economic birth lottery. If someone from a much richer country with far more money was dating me I’d also like if they paid for our dates. But yea they weren’t prostitutes lmao. I’m not saying Thai culture is the same as america, but in big cities tons of Thai girls will want similar things as their western counterparts. Saying that no Thai girl could ever possibly want casual sex with a hot guy is a …

Yea that guy is most likely a bad person and treats women poorly. But that doesn’t mean he represents all or even the majority of passport bros. There is nothing wrong with moving to a poor country for the purpose of better dating prospects as long as you don’t lie to women and are up front about your intentions. And not all Poor foreign women are dumb and easily manipulated like many people on Reddit seem to imply. Plenty have a college education and decent job but due to the bad local economy …

Threesomes sure are very unlikely, but meeting a girl at a bar and hooking up with them happens all the time. I lived in Thailand for 4 months when I was 19, and didn’t do that myself as I was in a respectful relationship with a Thai girl (we both had no intentions of getting married) but I hung out with some guys that were very attractive and they often had sex with Thai girls they met that night. If girls in the USA will hook up with guys at a bar, of course the same will happen in Thailand. A…

Well a shortage of labor leads to higher wages and better conditions for the workers, flooding the labor market with unskilled workers is bad for unskilled American workers, and a big problem for their lives. But yea for the US economy as a whole immigration isn’t a problem

Or they like having more dating options and enjoy respectful relationships based on mutual attraction and also the cheap cost of living and amazing food and beaches is a nice bonus

I mean are you really trying to claim no Thai woman are down for casual sex with attractive westerners? That’s a bit delusional, as women can want that in any country, so generalizing like that is wrong. If you say no hot Thai women want causal sex with obese 60 year old guys then sure I’d but that lol

I don’t think people say it’s a flex, just that it’s not a bad thing to do. Having high paying remote jobs to enable that could be a flex, but who gives a shit about flexing online lol

What if you go to a country because it’s cheap and you work online, and also enjoy a better dating environment? That doesn’t seem much different than your husband but many might call those guys passport bros

Im in my 20’s and found a Filipina girl to marry that’s 2 years older. I guess I could have found a similar girl in USA, but it’s far easier in Philippines as I mostly used dating apps and didn’t have much “game” in social events. I got over 10x the amount of quality matches in PH so of course it’s easier to do better statistically. But I’ll say I’m close to average looking so May depend

Plus young people use social media and consume western entertainment a lot

I dated overseas, plan to marry a Filipina women my age that has a decent job for their but only earns like $1k a month. Yes there’s some risk she’s a great liar and manipulative but I find it unlikely for various reasons. A bigger risk to me is getting few good matches on tinder in USA and settling for someone that’s not a good match out of desperation or loneliness

Just because someone was born in a poor country doesn’t mean they don’t have similar views and values. You can find women who don’t want to leave their country so no worries about green card, but there’s also nothing wrong with wanting to move to a country with more opportunities. I don’t think it’s a matter of not finding a unicorn as your odds are far higher than that suggests. It’s more avoiding the wrong people and not getting unlucky with someone manipulative who’s a good liar. My gf is Fil…

I had a high paying remote job but got laid off now just do a bit of freelance programming. I’ve lived in cebu for 9 out of last 12 months. Planning to live in USA soon with my gf tho

There’s also plenty of places that have little foreigners in PH. Not sure if dating would be easier in a rural place vs manilla. I’m also an average 20 something white guy dating a Filipina living in cebu and agree dating is much easier. It’s like I’m the girl on tinder here lol

how is that related to if you have friends or not?

Yea I mean I was lonely for years despite having a large group of male friends I think I can handle a couple days my girlfriend is unavailable lmao. Just the fact that I know I have a girlfriend that loves and cares for me removes like 99% of my lonely feelings. I enjoy spending time alone anyways so it’s not a big deal

He’s just saying hugging your partner is far better than friends or family and the reasons why. I agree hugging my friends in the past did nothing for me, hugging family is nice but mostly for their benefit. Hugging my partner feels great partially for the reasons he says. Nothing wrong with that

Yea i was happy in the past spending like 5 hours a week with friends, often just existing in the same place and not talking much playing video games or watching tv. My relationship has far more social interaction than I need to not feel lonely. Sure having the options of friend hang outs like in high school would be nice, but not having that now doesn’t mean im lonely now or burdening my girlfriend with my emotions or whatever. I never had deep talks like that with friends anyways

I can’t imagine urgently needing emotional support that can’t wait a few hours/days until my parter is available.

What needs are guys having that women don’t like? Emotional support and talking about their interests? I very rarely hang out with friends these days but they doesn’t inherently make my a project or child lol. A lot of guys don’t need someone to talk to about their emotions all the time because they are in a fine and stable emotional state generally…

I don’t think friends are that important to maintain your relationship with your SO. I’m not sure what you mean by howl of insecurity, but I don’t really feel insecure generally besides some social anxiety. I’m not controlling or very needy because I’m introverted and fine being by myself while my girlfriend goes out somewhere. I do want her validation and affection and could be “needy” in that sense but so is she and I think that’s normal and healthy for many relationships

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
