I know what the diagnostic criteria is, you don't have to meet all the criteria to have ASPD. I've met plenty of people with antisocial traits and heard stories of a lot of people that have many antisocial traits, but they never get caught or arrested. You do know that we live in capitalism which rewards successful psychopaths right? There are a lot more successful psychopaths than you think. The criminal, low impulse control, psychopaths are just a lot more visible and easy to identify. That's why you think they are the average. Your negativity bias is causing you to think that a psychopath must automatically be a low life.

But we have no way of telling that the average psychopath is a criminal. The study I pointed out said that there are psychopaths that have a brain structure that indicates better impulse control making them more likely to succeed in life, there could be a lot of those people out there. No doubt, there is a high percentage of psychopaths with low impulse control that get caught and sent to prison. But that doesn't give us the full picture of how the average psychopath is.

My comment stands, the average psychopath isn't a fortune 500 CEO, he's a recidivist felon with a low IQ. Your comment stands on what? You have no sources. How can you say for sure that the average psychopath has low impulse control? For all we know there are equal amounts of psychopaths that live normal lives and bad ones.

The successful psychopaths have good impulse control and go on to be surgeons, salespersons, CEOs and such. The psychopaths you are talking about have low impulse control and end up in trouble. the insane amount of money required to comply with testing, licensing, fees, etc. That is pocket change to mega corps. Corporations are the opposite of socialism. Corporations are tools of capitalism. What you should be mad about is any authority that says "this is bad for you, you can't consume or produce that product/media" What we are witnessing here is authoritarian capitalism which says "You can compete with each other and have free speech, but only within these boundaries."
