Listen, some guys just are unlucky. I'm a slightly chubby man with gynocomastia, yet I have gotten not one, but 3 partners, and I'm only in college Sometimes you just have to try and fail.

It's also a self filtering thing. I'm not sure the term for it, or how even it works, but when you assume all women to be "you negative sterotype" more often than not you will see the bad sterotype.

Try singing. Like no joke, whenever you listen to lyrical music, sing along. You will naturally match the pitch of the singer or at least try too. It really helps.

Yeah, I was talking abut cases where there is a lack of evidence, and a lot of it is down to how the jury or the judge feels.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/25 02:47 PM

However, sometimes there simply isn’t strong evidence. Maybe the evidence is like several years old. Maybe it’s based of testimony that was taken under duress, ir maybe it was circumstantial. I myself am not a lawyer, but I have a friend who is told me a lot of times cases were made are broken by how much the lawyer pissed off the judge or jury. I remember my friend told me there was a civil divorce case where both the husband and wife acussed each other of cheating, but a lot of the evidence wa…

Bingo. Poor & middle class women more often than not split up the checks, IME. But wealthier and high class women typically make you pay, unless they asked you out.

You'd be surprised how little cases have overwhelming evidence. Sometimes, it really is up to if the Judge was feeling pissy

Honestlly, your dating strategies heavily depend on where you are. Some places, like colleges with 50/50 population(where I am), have pretty good dating options; other places (like large, busy cities without much of a nightlife) can be bad for everyone involved. In addition, I am talking a little bit from a high horse (I have a relationship) If I was talking to a women, I would probably tell her the same thing, but I am not.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/25 08:07 AM

Equating women to fish is certainly a take. You're not catching something that you are hoping to eat. A woman isn't something you use and leave. It's another person you hope to experience life with. If you try to draw in too many people and compromise your standards, you will be unhappy in your relationship. I'm not going to dictate your matching stratagy, but If you treat everyone just like a checklist and then act surprised when they don't want you, that's your fault.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/25 07:28 AM

Yeah, but if you consistently treat women as a number and you struggle to make your relationships work or get dates, then that's probably a you problem, not them.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/25 06:40 AM

Men: Treat women like a number. Also men: "Why won't women date me?"

However, a lot of men just want a hole. A non-insiignificant part of the online gay dating community is a straight male who just wants a rag.

The other day, I came upon a post detailing a (f) teacher that raped her (m) student. The Top Comment wasn't denouncing the rape. The Top comment was "Where were these teachers when I was in High School" In a patriarchal model of society, sexuality is something that men control, and it is something that is intrinsically masculine. Thus, according to the Patriarchy, a male cannot be raped, because that would mean that sexuality doesn't belong to the man.

I was lucky, my gf asked me out, and we are both engineering (lots of study dates) Some people just draw the short end of the stick. Maybe you had a particularly busy year, which meant you had little time to party. Maybe you flunked a class and were on academic probation. Next you know, you have spent an entire year without hanging out with friends, and you have missed social interaction for a year. Story of life.

My response to both:a) Unfortunately, My math class has supplemental instruction around that time, so I can't attend. I'm sorry about that. B) I would love to do so, but my Chemistry class just assigned new homework that I need to finish, plus I have an 8:30 class so I have to go to sleep early. Both of those were real responses I said to my friends. The main problem is that college students are expected to do much more. The Variability Hypothesis is controversial today because while it does ring true in the past, it is unknown whether it is a cultural or biological difference. Evidence does prove a cultural difference, however, as the Variability gap in male and female scores has been decreasing. In Squid Game season 2 there is a character under the name Hyun-ju. This character is trans, and in the tv series, is playing the games so that they could get enough money to transition. South Korea is a notoriously conservative state, such that the actor itself is not trans, because finding an openly trans actor is hard. I remember going on r/squidgame after the series ended and seeing in a post numerous people remarking how the character made them change their views on how they perceived trans…

"that will not work on me. I need a tangible, real connection to fight for." I don't think you have been in a country that has been invaded recently. It's easy to consider this idea of gender relations when we sit comfortably in a bubble of security, but things will be very different when you are actually being invaded. Another example I will bring up is the Kurdish Movement in the recent civil war. Sure, some of them may fight for women and Children, but I bet many of them fight because they kn…

Every dating niche is a minority to the other If you surveyed a college campus, you will get different results than if you surveyed a city, and likewise with a rural town. For the most part, people stick to their environments, and subgroups within the environments. I met my GF through DND, whose preferences tend to differ from other women. Honestlly, I think you are exaggerating an incredibly complex issue. I am a college student rn, and the biggest problem people have is that more and more people are entering college already in a relationship, and those who are single are usually by choice. I think you are unfairly criticizing women without looking into more realistic answer. Where I am from, both men and women are committed at similar rates, and single at similar rates.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/24 10:25 PM

In all honestly, it makes sense. Ages 1-15 people are usually too young to date, and if your are between 18-24, education can be stressful enough to make you not date. I mean, within my college, it was not unusual for many men and women to be single.

Once again, the other party can't counter-sue for a no-fault divorce if one party brings it in a civil manner. There, the court will be forced to take it seriously, as this is no longer a legal agreement to end a marriage, but a civil suit. I think you are also misinterpreting what no-fault divorce is. No-fault divorce isn't a suit in and on its own, rather, it is a condition of divorce. It states that parties can sue for divorce with no fault on either side, but do not need to. You cannot count…
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/24 11:07 PM

I guess? If you have a High-earning job prior to the marriage, you can get that covered by the prenup. Realistically, Most people date around their social class, and/or are not wealthy at the time of entering a marriage where prenup is effective. Pre-nups are hard to maintain with children though, mainly because the court tries to preserve a child's "state of life" through the divorce.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/24 10:59 PM
2

The thing, a lot of times people don’t understand what a pre nup does cover and what it doesn’t cover. A pre nups primary role is to cover pre martial assets. Most of the times it gets thrown out when one of the Spouses are a SAHP or there exists a wide income disparity.

Pre-Nups, when done right(i.e reviewed by lawyers of two parties, signed and notarized) are as strong as any other legal contract. However, many people forget that these documents are a form of a legal agreement, and must have the same processes for it.

They expect men to do so because worker protections are practically non-existent. Sure there is maternity leave, but women who take the risk of being fired or laid off due to "lower productivity." If a man wants women to have children, he should be able to afford it, so they need to earn practically twice their salary. Its basic economics.

Jesus Christ man, what you just said is just sort of Raping women so that you can have children. What happened in South Korea can literally be explained through economics. A high cost of living means families need two working parents to afford basic necessities. Both men and women need to work Another factor is that SK is still very patriarchal, more so that the US. Women are expected to be the dutiful housewife and have a 9-5 job. Worker protections are also almost non-existent, so while there …

Now that is something that I would agree with. However, keep in mind, you just made it harder for men post divorce. Since now there is a piece of paper that men can sign if they don't want to pay for a baby, they failure to sign that paper before the birth of child is legally considered enthusiastic consent for a child, and thus a requirement for any divorced parent to pay child support.

Ukraine isn't winning in the same way russia is not, the war is stalemate. However, since this is an invasion, the party being invaded only has to stalemate to win. Plus, while drones are being used, they are meerlly one aspect of modern warfare. Combined electronic arms warfare is another. Just to point at one example, the atrillary system has come so far since the 2010, namely, with its incerpation of the next gen radar and over the horizon detection. meanwhile, Russia has its soldiers using M…

I think a lot of it has to do with how their society developed. Western societies had the chance to develop individualistic lives, while far eastern...didn't. There, you are not just 'you' but a representative of your family, and must behave like one. If you go to the Far Eastern immigrant population, they typically have a healthier birth rate. Makes you wonder?

There is a problem to that: how would you enforce it. If its just by verbal agreement, it turns into a he says - she says argument. If its by contract, then it is possible. Refusal of custody does exist. However, this presumes that all women are capable of having abortions, which is not always the case, whether for legal or physical reasons.

A) Yes Corporations and Politicians pander to them. They're 50% of the politicians. They also pander to men. B) If you're looking for Feminism, the South is really not a good place. It had a deeply autocratic structure. A woman was either too poor and didn't have enough time to fight for feminism, or too rich to even care. This can be contrasted with the North, which had a more rigid base. C) Yes Elitist Women led the movement. Just like how Elitist people led the abolition movement. But that do…

How do white women have more power than any other group? Families benefitted from slavery no doubt, and many of the women in the families became feminists. Men didn't just up and decide they wanted to support feminist issues. And even when they did they didn't do it "en masse" For instance in the US, Feminsim only really gained support in the US when it started allying with civil rights organizations. Before that, they weren't always on good terms. And even this, after the civil rights movement in the 60s, in which many Feminists participated in, those groups would abandon Feminists. In addition Feminists played a key role in the abolishment of Sla…

Not neccearilly. DNA evidence and what little art our ancestors left for us indicated a polygamous society, where everyone reproduced wth everyone, and Children were often raised less by the mother but by the village, so to speak. It was only with the Agricultural revolution, when the need for lineages was strong, that we see the earlier examples of monogamy.

Indeed. Harari points out that the patriarchy is largely a result of a Patrilinial society. After all, since women often had more and more child-rearing duties to attend to, Men went out to the fields to work, which created a world where Men were treated better than women. If you're curious, I strongly suggest you read his novel, Sapiens. (I do warn you, he can be a bit heavy-handed in his Atheism, but his points about religion are very interesting)

Honestly, I think it's a mix of both. Yuval Noah Harari points out that in a Prehistoric society, both men and women would have to work to be successfully functioning, which would have probably resulted in a more egalitarian society.

Marriages are not arranged. Yeah my bad, that's the wrong country. Still, that doesn't remove the very true fact that the Porn Industry is widely popular amongst Japansese society. A wet t shirt does feel cooler, but at the same time, it has the potential to heat up faster. That is why our body doesn't let out one load of sweat at a time, but a trickle, so that the sweat outside our body has a chance to leave and cool water can run. In a desert envoirment, you can't afford to sweat or you dehydrate. In a humid envoirment, The heat just sticks around you, so it is benefical to have less clothing Trust, me, I have been and worked in both envoirments.

Arabian desert is a whole different breed. The Desert, unlike more temperate heat, is relatively moisture dry. Thus, people in the desert wear clothes that are designed to prevent moisture from leaving. Contrasted that with heat in temperate reigions like the US, where moisture is prevalent, having more clothing would mean that the clothing would only be trapped onto your body, which in turn would heat us up more.
