It’s particularly bad in the early school system as well. The amount of times my parents were told by female teachers that I was on the autistic spectrum in primary (elementary) school was ridiculous - for innocuous reasons like talking too much, occasionally talking over the teacher, questioning the teacher, etc. Literally stuff that EVERY growing boy does. I wholeheartedly agree, trauma should be spoken about. I just didn’t know if there were rules on this sub about that kind of thing. I’ve had posts deleted elsewhere for typing the full word, which is annoying, so I was just playing it safe in anticipation.
