So, it would be according to those studies. They would have found that overwhelmingly, the word 'sexist' is usually used specifically to indicate prejudice against women, which is why it went in the definition. And most of the time, sexism is used to refer to prejudice against women. Google in this instance is reflecting a general prejudice in society, rather than itself being prejudicial.
