I guess you’re telling me I should feel guilty but in reality I’m ahead of my same age female peers statistically in every measure. Sooo I you can take your vitriol elsewhere. None of this has impacted my outcome in life

You must not be living paycheck to paycheck. I hardly had money for food during this time let alone a therapist at $200 per session. Hobbies are also for people with free time. I worked full time and went to school full time along with other extra curricular activities. Once those things were over and I was alone I was still depressed. I didn’t say it was a good coping mechanism I reflected and said “oh this is what I did”

I didn’t recommend others try it I said “looking back this is what I was doing.” I didn’t recognize it at the time that was years ago and I have reflected like all humans should

It’s not an excuse actually it’s fact. Casual sex for some is a coping mechanism just like drugs or alcohol. It is a poor coping mechanism but that’s what it can be. I also didn’t blame men so get over yourself. I’m also above average in looks, thin, and come with a host of domestic skills that many women my age lack meaning I never wanted for a man for a relationship.

That’s not true. My husband has a few attractive friends that are my type. Know why? Because they’re very similar to my husband in personality and interests. That’s literally why they’re friends. That doesn’t mean I don’t love my husband or have any intention of going after any other man (esp because they have girlfriends, one of which I’ve met and love).

Not true. I did it because it kept me afloat emotionally after a traumatic loss in my personal life so that I could finish school. My options apart from sex were alcoholism or drug abuse like many of my peers. Some of my sexual experiences were great. Some were not so great because the men either didn’t know what they were doing or their equipment was a poor fit. But how would I know sex would be terrible ahead of time in certain cases?

Oh geez I’m so sad I missed 1950s traditional American lynching and segregation. Get a grip OP we aren’t all White looking at history with girlish smiles

Disagree. Like it or not beauty fades with age and on top of that women who are single in their late 30s/40s are usually single because they have some major character flaw(s)

Strong need to be in control, standout amongst our peers in our degree program (I knew he would be promoted within 5 years with my influence…he’s capable but I’m his motivation), and of course his 6pack which is now a little belly but I still love him just the same :)

I’m confused why doesn’t she just screw the pool boy, lawn guy, personal trainer or equivalent while hubby’s out with Stacey? I’ll be she’ll feel much prettier then

This sounds post is dumb. This mindset is exactly why so many women will die alone. Always trying to trade up to a lambo instead of maintaining the value of their Honda Accord

Exactly. My friends in school coached me to always say my body count was 3. Not too low that no one would believe it but not high enough to scare men off. Apparently a lot of women round down

Dating options and marriageable partners making enough money to support a Hollywood lifestyle are two different things. She’s in no way ugly but there’s always a younger model out there to compete with

*37…she’s pressing 40 and was facing No Man’s Land if she didn’t scoop him up from the nursing home

I have been saying this for years. Men built civilization to keep us safe and so many women ignore the fact that if men all decided to revolt one day we would be powerless to stop men from overpowering us.

This is hilarious. According to the delusion calculator I have a .87% chance of finding a husband. And I put in my actual husband’s stats lol guess I got lucky

No I don’t want a cookie. My original reply was in reference to the person who claimed men have an obesity problem without acknowledging AMERICANS AS A WHOLE have an obesity problem and that many fat people male and female (won’t say most or all because I don’t know all) strongly prefer thinner/more in shape partners and will reject fat people of their preferred gender.

I’ve never lied. He’s asked and I asked why it matters and his only reply is that he wants to know if anyone had a bigger penis. Plain and simple. We don’t really discuss either of our exes because honestly who gives a crap we have a whole family of our own and all our exes are still dusty and alone.

I’m a woman pregnant with my 2nd baby and still thinner than 80+% of my female coworkers (being GENEROUS). Women complain about men’s weight and height all the time. Fat women I know don’t even look in the direction of fat men they want skinny men or men with abs and they better be 6ft. Try again.

I’ve had sex with dozens of men and they all thought I was an ultra conservative nerd who loved them. I’ve loved only two men my whole life. You men aren’t as clever as you think you are.

Exactly. I’ve had sex with about 40-50 men and my husband would never know as I’ve only discussed men I have been in relationships with which is less than 10.

I feel sorry for you if you’ve only met 5 attractive men in your whole life. The US has many attractive men just for the fact that we have more ethnicities living amongst each other than most countries. And check the obesity stats lady. An adult woman should be no bigger than a size 2-4 before kids. But they’re running around with double chins and super sized waists just like the obese men you’re talking about. Put the fries down Shirley and put on your glasses.

My only reason for seeking marriage was raising kids with a stable provider and partially old age but tbh you can find a companion at any age

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
