Question For WomenSuddenfury/r/PurplePillDebate21/10/24 09:12 PM

The population declined, it didn't lead to an economic collapse. You must admit that it isn't the birthrate itself that's the problem, but the population decline. At least that is what everyone else is saying
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/26 02:37 PM

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Post%E2%80%93World_War_II_economic_expansion Just one example. Nobody knows if any bad stuff will happen, fearmongers will sell it though. And finally, why would anyone want to bring it up in a discussion about sex and dating strategy, it's just incels who think it's some argument to pressure women into lowering their standards.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/26 02:24 PM

I'm saying the economies survived those population declines, even boomed in some cases. People suffered, but the economies didn't. People aren't suffering in the birthrate decline, and the economies won't either. Maybe an adjustment, but a well needed adjustment in that case. You can choose to sit and worry about it if you want to, I'll go out and have fun instead.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/26 01:37 PM

We have been through wars and pandemics and great depressions and humanity keeps on going. And we are overpopulated anyway, the birthrate will go up again when the population is low enough.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/26 01:21 PM

The main issue is that a lot of nations pension systems is outdated and inherently flawed. You can't keep promising that someone else will take care of you when you're old, you will have to set that up yourself. Giving your money to someone else just to get it back later, do your own investments, set up your own nestegg. Relying on new people entering the system is called a pyramid scheme.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/26 01:01 PM

Economies are still around? Even boomed after those declines. We will obviously be fine
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/26 12:52 PM

Even considering exogenous shocks, a lot of economies boomed after those declines.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/26 12:51 PM

I'm quite sure that primarily its about men trying to find an argument to why women should have sex with them. There are so many other ways to look at an aging population, why do so many try to blackmail women with the threat of (with no precedence at that) economic collapse.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/26 12:49 PM

Women don't care about emasculation, it's only something men care about infront of other men. Trying to look good is stupid? okay, keep doing your thing, it's just to my advantage anyway.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/26 09:34 AM

This is the problem. This guy is so afraid of being "emasculated" he rather stay unattractive. He is more concerned to look good in front of the guys than to look good Infront of the gals. And then have the audacity to complain about women.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/26 09:17 AM

We don't get the ick. Half of men can't even spot a light contouring.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/26 09:11 AM

I get approached by a lot of women when I glow myself up. And men stewing about it.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/26 09:09 AM

A lot of the looksmaxxer influencers is clearly using light make-up. But wouldn't admit it because it would ruin their brand. They'll use the real solution and sell you the easy one.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/26 09:08 AM

You can go miles with some eyebrow touch-up and light make-up. I get a lot of women approaching me when I do my Vampire looks.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/26 09:06 AM

I get a lot of attention when I glow myself up

I agree with your title but not the specific points you bring up. I'd say it's more cramped living and higher work pressure that's taking a toll on mental health. Basically the stress of 20 of your 40 hour work week goes to rent and it's not even a good place. But urbanization won't last forever, maybe another 50 years. As the wealth gap between nations evens out, manufacturing and food production jobs should be coming back to the countrysides.

Hmm, I realize my sources are mostly second hand. I'm judging the fishermen based on what other people are saying that they are saying. And as you say, people are generally pretty bad at interpreting things.

I think you're making assumptions there. What if she thought she was asexual and then through therapy realized she is "you"-sexual. Really into your type. That's good right? I think you are picturing her sleeping with "chads" and through therapy realizes she wants to settle with a "beta". That would be big nah.

I think I figured it out mostly by myself

One of the things is a woman will sit down and tell you rationally and morally and socially acceptable what you should do. Same thing with a list of standards for a boyfriend. Then in the heat of the moment, when meets an attractive man that pushes her buttons, all that rationality goes away and other things take control. "Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth" (And most fishermen are LARPers that's never been in the ring or doesn't understand what they do right)

There is a truth to this. I can see in myself how i used to go away from my group of friends to find women when I was younger. At a festival once I raised my tent away from the others, because I wanted to try to flirt around. I read a post once about a guy asking for advice on how to meet women, and he said conventions wasn't good because he would be busy hanging out with the pals. It's also one reason we get uninspired coffee dates because they can't bring her to their hobby with the guys. In-g…

What is this "Life Experience" everyone is talking about and why is it a bad thing? Like who would go "I like him, but he has too much life experience" ????

All of your intentions of what you will feel, think and do forever? You see, there are grey zones where you just don't know. But yeah, be honest and open. You are allowed to say "I don't know".

OP, I thought you had a boyfriend.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/26 09:10 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/26 11:12 AM

Shallowness is generally frowned upon. But I'm pretty shallow myself so I won't judge anyone for it. There are though women and men who aren't the cream of the crop that has standards that doesn't quite match their league. It turns out like that because people judge themselves by their intentions (potential) and others by their actions (current self). So we get fat chicks who's "just in a bad place" who will ignore anyone who's not athletic because "they are lazy slobs". Or women with baggage wh…
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/26 12:03 PM

Buddy I'm 35+ and I'm dating women your age.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/26 07:56 AM

Well, I've never said that.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/26 11:48 AM

And why do they think singing and dancing is so horrible? It's been a standard way of socializing for thousands of years. What it is I think is that some men are in some friend group or constellation with a "Women have cooties" mindset. Trying with women will go against the ingroups perceived values, thus one would fear being outcast from the group. So our social safety system, shame, kicks in to stop you from becoming an outcast.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/26 08:59 AM

Also if this person can confidently LARP confidence and it works, then just do that. It's super common for people to put on a "Tough" act and not show their insecurities until you get closer.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/26 08:52 AM

Anyone complaining about having to play a jester or "humiliation ritual" is just men who are too shy. It's a disability that you can work through.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/26 08:46 AM

"I might be a cynic" maybe you should stop being that? "LARPd confidence and happiness" yeah, being around mopey selfpitying people sucks. It's fun being funny, It's pleasant being romantic, It's enjoyable to be seductive. I also think few people can judge me. Someone thinks I'm cringe? Okay, let's see you try. They'll be too cowardly for that. I'm out here taking shots, living life, while they waste their time worrying about what's cringe.

I think it all boils down to: there is a type of woman that has a "husband material =/= fuck buddy material" mindset. Kind of like a reversed Madonna-Whore-Complex. Men are terrified to be in a relationship with such a woman, a bit overly paranoid about it. They'll get very suspicious that you are that type of woman if you start showing signs. What it means for women is that you'll need to prove you are not that type of woman. Just like you wouldn't like to date a pedo and if you see signs you'd…

I have 15 years of experience in (well in my nation) kink spaces and a common complaints from women who top is they absolutely hate if a sub comes with a list of things they want to do. But yes, there are women who dominates their men, but they never seem to get off from it, get horny from it. Pleaser doms.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/26 11:04 AM
2

Well, I've never met or heard of a woman with rape fantasies. Closest would be CnC fantasies with women in the center.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/26 10:47 AM
3

Wtf? dominants are not rapists or abusers.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/26 10:09 AM
4

She will get the ick and run away if you tell her to do that. You'd be telling her to do things she doesn't want to, which will be described as coercion in online spaces. Also its contradictory, you can't be a dominant submissive, it's too far outside the box for people to understand.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/26 09:05 AM
2

No, he's basically right. I've been around femdom spaces quite a lot and even in those spaces very few women actually gets off from being dominant. Most do it to please their partner, for fun or to express their misandry. A submissive man better get used to the idea of being poly or prostitution.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/26 09:01 AM

A bell curve has a peak and is thus supporting AFBB. Let's say you dated different people during your bell curve, then someone will get your peak and efter that its all down hill for the rest. Imagine talking about sex and hearing "well it's all down hill from here" I think everyones "life libido curve" is different and basically unpredictable (before menopause) and mostly circumstantial. AFBB as a fenomenon has different causes and is not a monolithic thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/26 09:03 PM
2

Then its a plateu, not a peak.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/26 06:17 PM
3

You wrote that late 20s to early 40s is where they peak. So a 35 year old man should be concerned if the woman hes dating has peaked or not. I personally don't think it works like this, but if the peak is between 25 and 45 then the men in that intervall would rightfully be concerned.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/26 06:12 PM
6

The fact that there is a peak supports AFBB. Men don't want to come in after the peak

I have a feeling for how, when and where to touch someone. When it's time for a rough hairgrab and how to lightly tease my fingers up the thighs, but not all the way. I heard my own voice with some effects on it and thought that sounds pretty good. After my ex constantly told me how I didn't say the right things in bed, how she didn't like my accent compared to others and how she didn't like sexting with me. I experimented with a sexy voice and used it for voice messaging women, they love it!

I don't recognize myself in the kind of man you describe, but I also have pretty much kinky sex and partners. But my answers to your questions would be. Yes, I have felt it strongly. I've been researching a lot about the psychology of a submissive. My morals and norms? Never met anyone who's attracted to morals and norms. Maybe, as I have adopted a lot more flexible morals and norms. Behaviours definitely, I've started to find something that turns women on. I do a lot of reading and watching mov…
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/26 02:21 PM

There are two pieces that's needed for me to fall in love with someone. She's attractive to me and she wants to get freaky with me. If any of those two disappears, I fall out of love. It doesn't exactly answer your question. Once a month could be fine depending on the circumstances.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/26 09:58 AM
1

In the end it does. In the same way as we say "you're the best" when our partner helps us out with something small, we don't mean they are objectively best, just the best for you. In sex you can be as "good as anyone else, but best because you actually care about me". If you appreciate it you can easily also find a reason to why it's the best.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/26 02:42 PM
2

Agree, it's really hard to say that any of the amazing sex would be better than any other amazing sex. I would always describe any current amazing sex life as the best, because it's close to me. I feel like the only reason you can't say it's the best is because you can't say it's amazing.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/26 02:09 PM
2

Exactly, it's not hard to say your partner is the best for you.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/26 02:01 PM

I can't imagine spending my life with someone who wouldn't appreciate me sexually.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/26 01:59 PM

Do you mean that as in that its easier because you have a longer time to perfect it. Or that its harder because you have to keep up the good work.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/26 01:55 PM
1

Just tell your pertner they are the best (for you) and that they make you crazy. You could win the mental jujutsu olympics with how much your trying to twist and turn away from admitting that you're not sexually attracted to your partner. Imagine someone saying to their partner "Most beautiful girl in the world? No, i actually find you kind of ugly"
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/26 01:52 PM
6

it wont really be a problem. We usually see our new partner with "rose tinted glasses", so they will always be better. I mean normal people at least.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/26 01:46 PM

2 out of 2 lost their libido about 6 months after becoming bf/gf. but before that we were matched.

While what you fear exists, I don't think those threads are any strong evidence. They don't write anything about how their intimate lives are, we don't get the background on the "stable" men, maybe they're also settling. How to avoid what you fear? Set boundaries, don't be a pushover. You'll be working big parts of your brain in academia and the corporate world. But you need to work other parts to avoid this. Risk taking, artistry, disagreeableness, building tension, pushing buttons, putting peo…

Some people are just unsympathetic, even if you explain how you feel they aren't going to understand it. Like bad students complaining about their teacher being bad at teaching, they just can't understand the subject.

Dude, are you going to take the stance that the weather is predictable and thus forecasts are never wrong? The equivalence here is like a guy getting caught in the rain, then going online and ask for an exact step-by-step guide to know if it's going to rain or not.

Marketing is a good point, humans can be influenced, but far from predicted and controlled. I counter with the stock market, completely driven by human behaviour and mostly unpredictable. If you can predict it, go and make yourself rich.

Artists and musicians even more successfull. MiT rewards logical thinking, it's very useful in STEM. Dating rewards social skills(including things like navigating status) and "self presentation" skills.

I'd say: "we can try it, but we stop immediately if it hurts" I'm not turned on by sounding, I'd try it if she wanted with the condition that we stop whenever I want. When it comes to degrading things, I attach no value to what happens in the bedroom. Whatever I do sexually does not reflect on me as a person at all.

Consider this. a) your profile is already well known by google for example. Your age, hobbies and even sexual preferences. Why would you need to create another profile? b) The algorithms to adapt content to what you like already exists. You shouldn't have to keep swiping, after a few test profiles your preferences should be quite well mapped out and you could get a feed of only good options. But that doesn't make money.

Many men are stuck in gaming addiction and will never admit it. Every hour spent on games could be spent on learning music or dancing, both really useful for dating. Those women are awful, everyone should shame them. They're making men jaded to dating, and other women won't even call them out. Easy to avoid though, especially offline.

Trauma, PTSD, C-PTSD are heavily over diagnosed, especially over self diagnosed. Some people are just like that. It's like daddy issues. No one has a perfect father. Also consider how if you press someone who doesn't know taxes with hard questions you'll get non-commital, generalized, wishywashy answers.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/26 10:44 AM

People in general do not understand themselves and have a poor understanding of how humans work. Look at taxes, if you ask an average person how taxes work you will get a bad description. Taxes are simpler than humans. Who should you ask? i don't know, it's like an unregulated doctors market out there with "alternative" medicine in every corner. Even the science is having difficulty seeing the forest for all the trees.

How would you say a husband can break this conditioning?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/26 04:43 PM

As for how to navigate it I think two things. 1) when it comes to long term relationships you need to be wary of becoming her normal, some people talk about polarity and I think its about right. While the usual talk about polarity involves masculinity and femininty I think that is a bit of poetic overthinking, just don't become one person. 2) in the dating world. Don't try to be the good boy, try to be the bad boy.

I agree that there is a variation of Madonna-Whore complex for women. I think it comes from failing to deal with sexual shame. She feels sexual shame and need to keep it away from her normal life and as you become part of her normal life, sex with you becomes a no-no. I think most cases of alpha-fcks/Beta-bcks is just this. The "Alpha" just says no to that situation while the "Beta" keeps trying to negotiate. It shows up in the discussion of husband-material too. Some women tries to keep their "…

Come as You Are, the book that popularized responsive desire, brings up the statistic of 16% of women describe themselves as not having responsive desire. For 84% I would call that a staple. But I will concede my point, I think desire is more complicated than that. And even OP stated you'd be approached every 5-7 years which isn't too bad in the grand scope of things.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/26 12:34 PM

And then there is responsive desire. Some women will not feel desire unless there is an other party starting them.

It seems I have to say this again: People tend to think their peak is just a few years away. People want that to be true. Nobody wants to think "it's all downhill from here". Let them cope. But I will say that I'm having much more success with 20 somethings now when I'm 36 than when I was 20 something.

If you try to jump through every hoop you're going to burn yourself out. You realize it's a bad system, but people won't stop trying to find a structure or system to try and understand things. Much like a lot of men try to find conversational flowcharts for picking up women. Once you realize the system is bad, stop trying to cater to it or use it as a study guide as you call it, just smile and nod and disregard it entirely.

You're still saying net not-positive. You're saying non-traditional non-nuclear families are not as good as traditional nuclear families. You're saying it would be best if every family was traditional nuclear families and there were no other. You can say that, but don't walk around thinking you're pro-pride. Your opinion in this is anti-LGBT.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/26 05:17 PM

"Traditional nuclear families typically result in the best outcomes for children and society" this implies that non-traditional non-nuclear families has worse outcome for children and society. You might not mean that, but that is the logical meaning of your sentence. If you say A is best, then not-A is not-best.

You usually make visible what isn't already visible. And you're implying LGBT is bad for society when your saying Non-LGBT is good for society. There are plenty of LGBT families with good outcomes and plenty traditional nuclear families with bad outcomes.

I see here why a lot of guys may be confused with this. A woman who is turned on by feminine submissivity needs to feel it, which means she needs to test it. It's a form of playfighting, but you'd call it being combative. If you want a woman that never challenges you, you don't want a woman who is into the feminine submissive role.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/26 11:20 AM

Most men have no clue how feminine sexual submissivity works. They just want a bangmaid. Nothing wrong with that in itself. They want to play videogames all day and fuck in between games. I'm into feminine submission and a big part of that is being put into place and having been put into place, not really doing chores. Id like to define a gender archetype to explain it better. This gender is feminine, beautiful, they're put in their place, they're objectified but valued and irreplaceable, they'r…

"feigning love for an entire marriage", this is not what women claim. They oftenly openly hated eachother in those marriages. The implication could also be that men were incompetent enough at recognizing other peoples feelings that they didn't notice, or just didn't care. There was a ton of unhappy marriages, one proof is the decline of husband poisonings when no-fault divorces were adopted. "increased competition for jobs" this isn't right. But yes, women are expected, or expect themselves, to be so much today. Both look like a million bucks and earn a million bucks. The type of beauty we see on Instagram takes a lot of hours to create, and you're supposed to work on top of that. It's similar for men. We all try to be so much and many are burned out by it. We need to step down from the pyre of burnout. Slow down, work less, expect a bit less. Spend more time on yourself.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/26 08:20 PM

This really illustrates clearly what the red pill is all about. People like you will tell boys that "Kept touching and kissing her" is coercive, note that coercion is also considered to be rape. You tell boys "Kept touching and kissing her" is as bad as "Used some physical force to create some pain". Good, well behaved boys will ofcourse listen to this and go "Okay, I really don't want to be a rapist so i will just stay passive". These boys then get absolutely nowhere with girls and they see oth…

Then he should pick someone compatible, stable and realistic too right? With equal sexual values for example. He should not need to worry about af/bb, he can just find a stable, reliable woman, who isn't hot, to maximize their compatibility. Why would a woman who value attractive men, settle with an unattractive one? This is what doesn't make sense with af/bb and why i don't think it's a core dynamic in the dating world. I think af/bb is an illusion created by other dynamics

/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/26 04:02 PM

It seems autogynephilia is defined as men being turned on by seeing themselves as a woman. Unnecessarily gendered I would say. I would broaden it on one end to not specify men but shorten it on the other to seeing themselves as the gender of "classical woman" or "classically feminine". And by classical I mean the usual ,"standard", woman.

Yeah, that's basically correct, but I think narcissism is about of a harsh word. Many womens sexuality is based on being subjected to sex. Her point is that if you think sleeping around makes women bad, then how can you complain that bad men gets to sleep around. You have just set up that sleeping around makes you bad, of course the group of bad men will be sleeping around. And like if a man constantly cheats, of course he will have a high body count. A lot of women will have had slept with the cheater, but a good husband who doesn't cheat will have a lower body count. Is the bad man really someone to look up to here?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/26 06:11 AM

No, she's saying that people are saying that sleeping around makes a woman bad. And in contrast with men those people are saying that to be allowed to sleep around you have to be bad. It's a double standard. You have to pick being bad leads to sleeping around, sleeping around leads to being bad, or sleeping around isn't bad.

I can tell you it's extremely painful to be with someone who doesn't think you're good enough. But the 80/20 theory is a misconception. It looks like that because there are just so many more men than women on the sexual Marketplace. Any given time there are a large share of women who, for various reasons, aren't in the market.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/26 04:19 PM

It would be reasonable if the pickier side was the active side. But a significant chunk of women has a sexuality that simply doesn't work that way. They need an active person to drive things. They need to be in someones scope. They need someone outside to set the frame. All you're doing is trying to convince yourself that you can remain passive, you can't.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/26 10:33 AM

Yeah, you have it right. On another hand, It is much better if I cause the sense of "harm" because i can do that without leaving scars. Masochism and self-harm is a messy subject, but also very human. You can't really write down a set of rules for it, you'll have to develop a feeling for it.

Being a Nice guy means being passive. Agreeable, non-conforontational, risk-averse. Society isn't trying to teach you to be a nice guy, the dream of being able to be a nice guy and still date permeates the society. Same as the dream of a just world and winning the lottery. The dream of the "Nice Guy" is to reap the benefit without paying any costs or taking any risks.

Also, Narcissism is incredibly over "diagnosed". You're a narcissist if you don't hate yourself according to reddit.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/26 09:43 AM

Two reasons really. Many womens sexuality needs someone else to be the actor, they need someone to subject them. Also they're too chicken to act. The good thing is that as the active person you get to make the choices.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/26 10:18 AM

This is things I did as a "Nice guy" A nice guy will be understanding and patient if she acts unreasonable. A nice guy will give her an escape route in conversation. A nice guy will not tease her or corner her socially. A nice guy will attempt to equalize any power dynamics. A nice guy will think seduction is manipulative. A nice guy will be a "good boy", meek and humble. Not rocking the boat. Keep your head down and be good for society.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/26 06:51 PM

Or its all in your head. You gained confidence from doing what you think should work and interpret what you see from that lens. I notice this clearly in myself, days I'm confident It seems like everyone is checking me out. Days I'm not confident I'm concerned if they are judging me. Regardless, if it makes you feel good about yourself keep doing it. Edit: also as you point out, being "Safe" does not show confidence. Cowardice is one of the greatest sins in dating as a man.

It seems your definition of an average joe is to be one of the 300 invisible guys attending the club, and being part of the visible 10 makes you a not an average joe. OP's point is that anyone, even without any extraordinary traits, I. e. an average Joe, CAN be in one of these positions and WILL benefit from it.

Dancing is an excuse to meet. I think a lot of people are thinking like this: "I wish there was an app, then i could stay home instead of going out dancing". Then you go on the apps and the effort threshold is lower. But that means the people on there are trashier too. And the lack of good excuses to meet makes the meeting threshold larger.

Responsive desire as described in "Come as you are" is when Desire follows arousal. She will want to have sex after she has started having it, basically. Desire as a response to arousal You are right that the discussion needs a good definition. I think it might be worth skipping it entirely and just write it out in full description of what you mean.

It's partially because people have misunderstood responsive desire. As described in "Come as you are" its when desire follows arousal. You get your body going first, then you start desiring. for example desire comes when you have already started to have sex. The description you use here, desire/arousal as a response to a stimuli, gets confusing as you say because almost everyone works like that.

Meaning as we became more and more "Public" and getting a united representation, she couldn't claim for herself that "It doesn't represent me though".
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/26 05:37 PM

In retrospect i have come to understand she was sexually phobic towards me, which meant that anything I'd try would be viewed in a criticizing, negative light. I'll try to remember something specific, I think just texting was one thing. She talked alot about how excited she got from sexting with a guy before me, but she wouldn't respond to my sexting and said she didn't like the way I sexted (She later showed me some examples, and it wasn't really anything different). Now if it's one thing like …
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/26 04:42 PM

Maybe this is where people gets confused in this debate. This absolutely happens that people talk about their sexual past unprompted (In a positive way), but don't want to do that with their current partner (Confusing i tell you). The explanations are there, but it usually amounts to that you are not "It". And then you have the scenario where a partner is pressing on the sexual history and demanding equal treatment. I can definitely see this driven by jealousy.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/26 03:34 PM

"The issue is when men probe women for information about the past sex they had." This is just such a terrible idea, same as asking about previous partners penis sizes. Just don't ask. In this case i might agree with the "retroactive jealousy" bit, some kind of self-destructive drive is going on there. Why is this person thinking about the past, the person should be dreaming about the future. For reference, my ex used to spill a bunch of stuff about her sexual history that i never asked about and…
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/26 03:26 PM

It's such a non-issue. People make up this kind of scenario but it's really not complicated. If she likes kinky stuff, why would she not continue to do kinky stuff? If she likes something and he also likes it, you got a match! If it gives him the ick, no match. If she is in the tricky situation of "used to like it but don't anymore", it's really a tough position. Guys who approves of it will clash with your current self and guys who disapproves will clash with your past self. Best bet is probabl…

No dude. Fast and processed food and therapy existing isn't why you're not finding a girl. Women don't fall in love or get turned on by men who can be their provider. That's the answer to that double standard.

What you have to consider is some boys grow up already nice and is told that boys needs to be nicer. Besides the real truth is that some women are just complainers, they can't help it themselves. You either put a stop to such behaviour or find a non-complainer.

The problem is people project their unhealthy relationship with sex onto others. You must assume sex is inherently bad to say it is a form of self-harm. Depression can cause you to want to take a trip to Paris, but you wouldn't say traveling to Paris is problematic. For some reason humans have an ambivalent relationship to sex, we want it and fear it at the same time. This causes all of this slut-shaming we see in almost all cultures and religions.

Considering how much arranged and forced marriages coupled with marital rape and normalized domestic violence there was in the past I don't think your point stands that relationships were better back then.

Me personally? Dates for connection and/or sexual connection. Im not saying that maintenance is bad. I don't call it maintenance though, I work in maintenance. I call it having fun and being romantic together. Cute parents, are they having sex though?

It's just sounds like a relationship isn't something you'd join in for a better sexlife when you describe it.

Eeeh, lacking relationship maintenance can really be a symptom of lacking sex, so that case isn't like the others and could be a case of what I'm asking about.

This is in line with my thoughts too, it's kind of about becoming a proper person. For some the concept of being a proper adult doesn't work well with their sexual selves. Children of course changes everything.

Short answer is: Yes, I can identify a few dynamics that will give that result. Like if a woman was in a relationship where things went to fast, she would overreacted and take things slow with the next person. That would look like an alpha fucks/beta bux situation.

Both men and women do this. And they both get down bad. But no woman I know have taken action for the ones they are down bad with. "the thought of another woman even talking to him or even worse making him laugh would ruin my whole evening." That's not normal. Your experience is not normal, don't give advice to normal people.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/24 03:41 PM
2

Seek attention and leave windows, yes. But few women will take action. Most will give up instead. Actually, usually women are interested in more than one person and the one of them who takes initiative is the one she will go out with.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/24 12:55 PM
2

I can tell you that a lot of men doesn't really know what they want. In the moment they'll tell the truth and after having sex they change their mind. Also women will read in too much when they have high hopes for someone. Men will take the offered sexual opportunity but don't commit as it's not what they want.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/24 12:50 PM

"People are not machines with explicit instuctions, here are three explicit instructions." Get out of here! You can approach women who are busy. You can be heavy handed in some contexts, such as when alcohol is involved. It takes a lot to remove someones freedom of choice, most men on here are too passive as it is. You didn't even actually score in your story, getting someones instagram is not useless but far from a success story.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/24 12:45 PM

My complaint? My point is that she is not presenting evidence that being nice and sweet leads to sexual success. Quite the opposite. She is showing that if your nice and sweet like her boyfriend, you get an anti-porn girlfriend like her.

/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/24 06:58 PM

Well there's the full picture. We are basically discussing if being nice will get you laid, you're saying your boyfriend is nice and it turns out he's basically not getting laid. But sure, if a man doesn't want to have a fun sexlife, then he wont have to think about niceness.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/24 06:51 PM

Women are also vilified for that drive, just in a different way. Most men here can be much less respectful. The level of respectful these men here are is boring. It's okay to joke around with women, to be flirty, to be sexual.

You can avoid being a meek passive man without being an asshole. Being a bit cheeky and rude doesn't make you an asshole. Being adventurous and risk taking doesn't make you an asshole.

You can be not a nice guy without being cheating and abusive. This is the problem with this discussion. People will say if your not a meek passive man you must be an abuser. No you can be neither of those things.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/24 06:27 PM
6

Nah, you should be a bad boy 😎. Thats what the chicks like. Most men on here have so much margin on their good boy points they can much badder. Theyre not even close to being fuckboys, so they can afford to be ruder and more sexual presenting.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/24 06:24 PM
13

Yeah it's a bit of a mental dead end to get caught on sharing hobbies and interests. Some relationships are purely of lust and desire. Maybe it won't last, but nothing does.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/24 06:19 PM

You should be flirty with women you are interested in, a bit cheeky and rude is good. Not every interaction has to be determined on whether or not you will be together forever after. Time limited flings is fun.

People really need to stop discussing "nice guys" and "bad boys" and look at the specific traits instead. What it is is that some traits we are taught to be good traits and will give you good boy points is unattractive. So we are taught that we should be a good boy and how to get good boy points. For example being risk averse, not taking space, do as your boss tells you, don't joke around, don't be sexual, get good grades, don't display emptions, be a follower. These traits are good for becoming…
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/24 05:42 PM
1

That kind of thinking will only lead to problems. Try things with your established partner, any act feels differently between different partners and both persons get a chance to experience it. An the threesome thing, you're either into threesomes or not, your current relationship status isn't really relevant.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/24 03:22 PM
1

"if they enthusiastically consent but then stop consenting mid act, and the other person continues the act, then that's still rape" No one is going to be convicted if that was a real-life situation. There would have to be clear signals of the changed consent status, such as physical or verbal resistance.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/24 05:55 PM
1

I myself don't see a lot of discussion around enthusiastic consent. Which is sad because there is a lot to discuss there. If I had 2 minutes to teach someone about sex and consent, I would teach them about enthusiastic consent and no one would get in any trouble. If I had a lot of time I would go deeper into the nuances of consent and the legal stuff behind it.

It might be labeled "sexual coercion" online and casually, but again in legal definitions it is not. Legally, sexual coercion is using threats other than of violence. Like threat of eviction for example.

What you are describing is how the virtues and ideals of the young man doesn't align with what women are attracted to. It's interesting to speculate on why it's like this, but in the end you can't change everyone else. The young man has to admit he was fooled and raised wrong, and start working hard on changing some core things about himself.

I think what we are seeing is what "not taking responsibility for your sexuality" looks like in men. They want it without putting in any effort, as convenient and safe as possible. As convenient and risk free as pushing a button in an app. This route really ends up in staying at home masturbating for both sexes, no effort and no risk! You don't want McDonald's sex. Grooming and Game is the cooking process for a fine meal.
/r/TheRedPill25/09/24 10:12 AM

Yep. And have parties at your cool apartment. The most efficient sexual strategy is to have boozy and fun afterparties at your place. I used to rent some space in a cellar in the city. Had a lot of fun there, had a lot of girls there. Expensive but really, really fun.
/r/TheRedPill23/09/24 03:02 PM

Yup, not worth thinking about much. Just carry a retort to use if someone criticizes you. I think the energy of agree and escalate like above "yes they ARE easier to manipulate and tighter and skinnier too" or the "Yeah, well I'm a really bad man" direction.

Women have a complex relationship with their sexuality. There is an agency in "women who want to fuck will find a way to fuck" that does not ring true. Women mostly go with the flow and doesn't make active decisions about sex. Don't wait around for her to choose you, she doesn't choose anything, she just does. Also women have a strong distinction between appropriate and inappropriate. How will she behave in an appropriate relationship?

Yes, that happens. There are ofcourse men who are soo ugly that most women will say no to him. But with social skills, there will be one women somewhere at sometime that falls for that. Not necessarily a supermodel, you brought that into the discussion to try and move the goalposts. There is a gray area of how you look that is not attractive or ugly. You said there is a threshold where you go from the gray area to good looking, now you are changing the discussion to the ugly area.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/08/24 04:50 AM

It's all about the good boy syndrome. We are raised that we should be good boys and how to get good boy points. Turns out good boy points aren't worth anything in the sex store. And boys are so scared of risking good boy points. The way you are describing it as threading the needle is all about how can you be a sexual person without risking your good boy points.

I agree with you. The only ones who seem to care are the ones not getting laid (enough). Seems to me they spin this narrative as a coping mechanism. Body count, promiscuity, population decline, all in the same basket of cope narrative. Also, i've never met a woman who cares how much money i make.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/24 09:54 AM

There's more? Isn't "arguing" with you enough? Well then, make a statement about evolutionary psychology in humans and prove it.

/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 08:51 AM

Yes there is physical evidence for physical evolution. You can literally follow the evolution of the tail for example and show that tails had a evolutionary benefit and that is why some animals have tails today, we can also see some traits that have no benefit but still shows up in contemporary humans, like the blind spot. Psychology doesn't leave behind any evidence. There is writing, of course, but the time scale for evolution is much larger so it can't say much.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/24 09:37 PM
1

"All it’s saying is that, at one time, it was evolutionarily beneficial." Again the only evidence for this is that 'it' is widespread today, and there it goes in circles. "based on the idea that" = idealistic. There is no basis in evidence. While I think its an interesting topic, I don't think people should make life decisions about themselves or others based on it. Because it doesn't have a solid foundation you can use evolutionary psychology to argue for almost anything, specifically you can u…
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/24 03:49 PM

The problem with evolutionary psychology is that it's often a tautology. Women today are X because it is evolutionary beneficial, X must be evolutionary beneficial because women today are X. And the psychology part has the problem that there are no evidence for the evolution of our psychology, we can't know what we were like psychologically thousands of years ago as it isn't preserved. Evolutionary psychology is an idealistic philosophy that thinks it is a materialistic science.

Know your rights, read up on defamation and arbitration. Make sure you know your way around the justice system. /r/PurplePillDebate28/02/24 08:48 PM

I was thinking of the drugs that has lowered libido as a side effect, like finasterid. Less horny and keep your hair, perfect! I just keep seeing men who say they have given up on women yet keep talking about women.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/02/24 04:19 PM

Nah, that is very unusual. If your personality isn't attractive right out of the gate then it won't suddenly become that later. I can't imagine a personality that would be "attractive in the long run". I can see some personality traits that gets unattractive over time though.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/02/24 04:02 PM

As is their prerogative, and I think it should be a viable option (They should really look into any of the drugs that lowers sex drive). But there is still a long way to go before we hit a 50/50 split on the dating scene.

Don't try to figure out how TikTok sketches relates to real life, they don't. Also people on Reddit are dumb and say dumb stuff, don't try to figure that out. IRL is where things are, learn to see green flags and flow around until you hit a green flag. Women know within minutes if they're interested, being their friend for months won't suddenly change that. But friends are great for finding other women, so be open for friends.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/02/24 03:24 PM

What I mean with women sitting things out is that there are a lot of women that aren't interested in the dating scene in any given moment, so as a man you have to pursue and woo or someone else will.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/02/24 02:55 PM

Almost right, you're right that women no longer rely on a man's income, thus being a "Man who can be relied upon for income" is no longer a viable strategy. But you make an incorrect connection between this and pursuing/wooing. The onus of initiative is on men because a lot of women are fine sitting things out.

This is the landscape we have to navigate. You can either be bitter and sexless or realize that you will need to put time and effort into it.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/24 02:04 PM

The real answer is to not take it to heart. Realize that most people, especially online, are idiots and have no idea what they're talking about. Just smile and nod, make an interpretation that suits you like "They say they don't want to be approached by men. But what they really mean is fuckbois, and i'm not so i can still approach".
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/24 10:54 AM

Interesting, is there anywhere one can read more about that?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/24 10:38 AM

As some other posters has pointed out, this is mostly an online thing. But the dynamic is certainly present there. If someone writes into their profile "Don't DM me" it's only going to stop the people reading your profile and cares from DM'ing. What it means for you: Its not a puzzle worth solving. Don't get offended over things like this or take to seriously what people say, most people are idiots anyway. Flow around and stay where you feel welcome.

In retrospect I should have moved to London. I have been debating this topic with myself for quite some time and my conclusion is that bigger cities are better. On the one hand, it shouldn't matter since supply and demand should remain constant as the population just scales up. But if you look at it from a Stable Marriage Algorithm perspective, you can say that you should match up with a partner closer to your ideal, higher up on your standards. The bigger population the more niched your partner…

I think your thoughts about BENEVOLENT MASCULINITY are the strongest, like asking around on social media what people think about benevolent masculinity and get people thinking about that could help some people get a perspective on it. It's better to give boys an idea of what to do rather than what not to do. Actually, the current discourse on toxic masculinity, what not to do, will tell you that you can't do anything really. If we instead would talk about benevolent masculinity, it would likely …

Women don't make active decisions when it comes to dating.

I think a lot of men is in a conflict with themselves. They see other men stealing out of the cookie jar and starts ranting about the jars instead of thinking maybe the cookie rules isn't what they thought. They should go find their sex-on-the-first-date-woman instead of being mad this one isn't like that anymore. They should go for the one that is in her "Giving her best self" stage.

If your relationship faces the "I don't want to do these things with you" obstacle, you should first ask "Is there anyway we can workshop these things so that everyone enjoys them?", if not you should ask "Is there anything else we would rather do, that we might even enjoy more?", if not you should ask "Can we do this on our own separately?", if not then it might be a relationship ending obstacle. If you are single, you should try to find dates that are open and curious to the things you want to…

You're sentiment is right. Both should enjoy the things you are doing together. Going back to the original post, if your relationship faces the "I don't want to do these things with you" obstacle, you should first ask "Is there anyway we can workshop these things so that everyone enjoys them?", if not you should ask "Is there anything else we would rather do, that we might even enjoy more?", if not you should ask "Can we do this on our own separately?", if not then it might be a relationship end…

What I mean with "Absolutely, but anything harmless." is to go back to the question "If you love someone wouldn't you want to give that person everything and make them feel like the luckiest person alive?" but conceding that maybe everything is unreasonable. Instead rephrase the question to everything harmless. I disagree that doing harmless things to make your loved one happy is a bad thing.

like this: If you love someone wouldn't you want to give that person everything [harmless] and make them feel like the luckiest person alive?

Not unsatisfied, but I have some plans. I'm going to look into attachment theory to see if there are some ways for me to become more secure. I'm going to expand my photography hobby, inviting women to be models. We will flirt with some of them. I'm going to hold subculture meet-ups, at least we'll find more friends and there may be some occasional women to flirt with. I got three specifically interesting women invited, we'll see if they show up. I'm going to attend bigger events in bigger cities…

Follow up question, would you let them do it to someone else? Alternatively, if you love someone wouldn't you want to give that person everything and make them feel like the luckiest person alive?

I\ve had an interesting thought about this. Lets say women are very Impressionable/Empathic. If they meet someone who feels uncertain/unsafe, like a bully victim, They'll feel uncertain/unsafe. If they meet someone who carry the emotion of certainty/safe (Regardless of what that one SHOULD be feeling), they'll feel certain and safe too. What causes the feelings is irrelevant. In this idea a narcissist being certain and confident from disillusion will still inspire certainty and safety. Someone b…

Well if you know this and is one of the hypersexual men you might consider getting a haircut before the night out to increase your chances a bit, while if you're one of the women you probably wouldn't worry about your chances at all.

Only if you put some inherent value in horniness. One can discuss sexual trends among groups of people without saying anyone is a lesser human. Asexuals are equals to hypersexuals. Consider a night at a club where there are more hypersexual hetero men than hypersexual hetero women. Surely this is going to affect the dynamic between the two groups?

I think it's better to say that you are beautiful in different ways at different ages. And your appeal changes. 40 year olds and 20 year olds are beautiful in different ways.

Well, in a long term relationship I wouldn't want to be treated less than any of her previous partners. Like we should both give eachother our best.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/23 01:42 PM

I think one thing is that now women can date and marry without their fathers approval. Which means that traits that impress the father, like jobb stability and jobb self-sacrifice, becomes less important. Some men are still spending so much time trying to impress the father (Slaving away in a patriarchal work environment), while they should be trying to impress the daughter (Doing expressive things like art, dancing and music)

To begin with what people mean with Toxic Masculinity is all over the place. Which basically means you can interpret it however you like and can disagree whether things are or aren't toxic. But here: "Be toxic but find someone who loves you, or be soft and sensitive and die alone. " Toxic and soft aren't opposites. There is ways to be that is neither toxic nor soft. People lump traits together in an association fallacy. Hitler being a vegan doesn't make vegans Nazis. A man that hits his wife and…

Geographic location can really be quite important, it might be local dating culture that seperates our views. A few months to a year for most of them. When i think about it i might be the highest earning bachelor in my agegroup in my city. I don't feel like it affects my dating life much, i can just afford more and better opportunities.

I don't know, I have seen women together with guys without a job. It's not that rare. Also, of the women i've dated only one has been interested in what i do for a living.

Mr Millard is right, men have lost sexual bargaining chips. But thats good since sexual bargaining is sketchy. And for the other part, what?

I think this is a reply to me. I guess we have seen different things and i agree that the relationship dynamic you're describing is, with simpler terms, absolutely nuts.

I think it's good that women don't need to suck a dick to be safe anymore (in simple terms). I think the idea that a job should give sexual benefits is made up and perpetuated by men who sacrifice their life working (for other men).

Yes, sex as a trade-off is a recipe for disaster. And sex is important (for many men) in relationships. Though the idea of sex being withhold is crooked. To me sex being withhold would mean that both parties want to have sex but one side avoids it. What's more common is a loss of desire on one side (which usually has only one solution)

interesting read, but it doesn't quite align with my personal experiences. I have had sexual relationships without any transfer of resources and most women i know isn't particularly concerned with resource transfers either. I'm not sure if really EVERYTHING can be seen as a resource like that either, particularly if both parties want it. For example relationship commitment and loyalty is something usually both parties want. I have never quite seen commitment traded for sex (man gets sex, woman g…
