My advice would be not to compare yourself to others. That's one of the reasons why social media like Facebook can be complete cancer, it's just a platform for people to show off to others with their "success". Find what makes YOU happy. You are the main character of your own story, do the things that make you happy or make you fulfilled. I have a buddy that owns a surf board shop in Florida. It's tiny and gets enough business to pay for the electricity but that's it, he won't ever be a milliona…

From that context it sounds like it's referring to women. As in, "if you are single or widowed that's okay but if you are gonna be a hoe about it marry someone instead."

Depending on how small of a town you live in this could be a terrible idea. Usually it's best practice not to burn bridges especially in a small town where the odds of these people being in your community is rather high.
