Assumptions, strawmen and generalizing. You should talk to someone about the women that hurt you so you can feel better.

This subreddit is turning into a sewer. I've defended MR from accusations of misogyny, but this thread, and recent ones like it, are indefensible.

as she is technically, also killing the child An embryo is not a child. Its about existence of that possibility, and if women get support and options, its only fair for men to have the same options. Those options affecting either party in vastly differing ways is why the options are slanted to one side. Its not whining, its the definition of the word "equality" It's equality in that 5 year olds should also have driver's licenses and the right to vote, or that millionaires should be able to colle…

if woman lies as to using birth control for example - which happens. Or digs out a condom from the trash. Or (insert multitude of options here, including having a partner on the side, i.e. paternity scam). There are many possibilities, There are certainly many possibilities, but they are rare. There isn't a contingency plan for every situation and that's what we have a court system for. Whether the court system is flawed is another conversation. Right now, there are none options, just obligation…

No it's not. It's pragmatism. If you have a child, you have to care for it. The needs of a child outweigh the wants of their parent. You're arguing for the right to be a deadbeat dad?

This is nothing but Women>Children>Men. Not in the least. Bodily autonomy is a right for men and for women. Children's well being takes priority of their parents' rights. You can't force a medical procedure on someone and you have to take care of your children, regardless of gender. You want a perfect answer and there isn't one, so you have to be pragmatic.

All the world is seeing is you having a hissy fit because you lost. No. No, that's not reality. The world is seeing that our country has reached a new low and the protests are a glimmer of hope. The protests are a democratic way to show our elected officials that their jobs are at risk. The GOP lost seats and lost the popular vote by a good amount. He has the support of far less than half the country. Voter turnout is going to be higher in the next few elections and Trump doesn't have carte blan…

Bodily Autonomy> Welfare of the Child> Financial Rights of the Father. Obviously if the child is now born the first one drops off. It's unfortunate for men that women have the final say in a pregnancy, and I would personally be unwilling to accept my SO having an abortion without my input, but nobody has the right to tell a woman that she has to have an abortion. Financial responsibility for your child is part of sex and only a weak and pathetic man completely lacking in character would insist o…

No it isn't. It's saying that when actual fascism, or any existential threat, has to be defeated, it's men that do so, now and always. The nonexistent problems that feminism whines about are not fascism, and this is pointing that out. If modern feminists had any legitimate things to be concerned about, it's the clearly anti-women rhetoric of the right and a president who not only is a sexist, but sees women as objects rather than people.

Feminism is a wide label. Feminism seeking equality is a good thing. Modern feminism can be extreme and is a problem. Not all feminism is the same and not all feminism is bad. Most MRAs that were alive in the 50's, 60's or 70's were feminists. It's only recently that feminism and equality have ceased to become synonymous. MR issues are neither right nor left. Many politicians take sides on these issues simply to be against one another and show a stark contrast for idiot voters. This type of pers…

The protests are legal and the process is tantamount to the constitution. More bad than good is bullshit. Over a million people protested today and a handful got out of line. It's not relevant. Don't be such an awful person.

Many are more reputable than others but I feel comfortable saying that Huffpo and Breitbart blatantly twist the news to show a strong bias much more than other news sites.
/r/MensRights11/11/16 10:58 PM

Yeah. Let's jump from one end of the spectrum to another. Or maybe a news outlet with less of an agenda than either of these two.
/r/MensRights11/11/16 09:09 PM

Ooh. Breitbart and support of Trump! What a great way to show people that MRM isn't bigoted.
/r/MensRights11/11/16 07:32 PM

No thanks. That subreddit is a cesspool. This is r/mensrights, not r/beatingwomen.
/r/MensRights28/10/16 05:46 PM

Most of the posts there are reinforcing the idea that women should be treated like objects and that they are all cunts/bitches/sluts. MR isn't about that. It's about equality.
/r/MensRights25/10/16 06:57 PM

I just went there to view some of the highly upvoted posts/comments. It's a bunch of insecure asshole manchildren that don't understand why women don't like them so they try to strategically manipulate women into liking them. They are more interested in staying the way they are and using abuse/manipulation than self-improvement to meet their goals. The last time I looked at it, which was a year ago, it was pretty much the same thing. I wouldn't be surprised if half of the people in that sub subs…

I have a very distasteful view of theredpill and because I think my view is accurate, it's unlikely to change. That being said, I'm still curious to know what appeals to you there.
/r/MensRights25/10/16 04:24 PM

It's unfortunate that it's name associates it with the misogynists at r/theredpill. That's probably a big reason for this having happened. They fucked up when naming their film. There needs to be a clear line drawn between MRA and the likes of r/theredpill. Not doing so clouds the water when differentiating hatred for women (r/theredpill) and seeking equality for both men and women(MRA).

Lol. It's funny when people use socialist as an epithet. Capitalism widens the gap between the rich and poor and then you have a poorly producing economy with high poverty and crime rates. Interesting how countries with more socialist policies have better quality of life, better per capita gdp and higher education rates. It's funny how the GOP tricks idiots into voting against their own interests.

I don't think you know anything about martial arts or fighting. She's one of the best female fighters in the world. Gegard Mousasi fights at 185, which means he probably walks around at 200lbs. Ronda fights at 135, which means her walking around weight is at most 150, but more likely 145 lbs. Her 135 is probably the equivalent of a male 125lbs, but it's not really too far off. She's been competing in martial arts at a high level since she was a kid. There are a TON of male fighters her size that…

A 19 year old girl whose "boyfriend" manipulates her into prostitution, gets her addicted to heroin and brings her to another state so she's forced to depend entirely on him is trafficked. Women ARE more vulnerable to men in human trafficking and they do need protection. This is something that cannot be allowed to continue. How is it detracting from men's rights?

So did Obama. Bill Maher did also. Pandering to SJWs and feminists is becoming a big part of modern liberalism. I used to call myself a liberal but despite my extreme dislike of the right, lately I fall somewhere in the middle. You would hope that with the right becoming crazier and crazier, liberals could use the opportunity to just be normal instead of doing their own pandering.

I don't think that she is acting that way because she is a feminist. She is acting that way because of the tone that society has set of letting women do what they want. Female privilege. The point is that male privilege might exist in some arenas, but so does female privilege and it's important to understand that both exist.

I never claimed it deterred murder. It sure as hell eliminates repeat offenders. While also creating a society that finds murder acceptable under certain circumstances. I feel safer in a society that sees all murder as wrong than a society that considers revenge murder to be ok. Violence as punishment for violence sets society back and does nothing to prevent future crime. Making shitty people feel better is not a valid reason for the government to murder people.
