I suck at home maintenance. How can I learn?Should I switch the switch with a different switch? | /r/askMRP | 06/10/15 10:42 PM
I suck at home maintenance. How can I learn?Yes, I've thought of that and described it in the OP. In the specific example of the 'Light-Fitting that Doesn't Work', I'm stumped. Also, in general, I realise I suck and want to learn. | /r/askMRP | 06/10/15 10:41 PM
I suck at home maintenance. How can I learn?Edit: but seriously what do you expect us to do? Send you back to your childhood and magic you a dad that wasn't useless around the house? If you could throw in a sports almanac, that'd be perfect :) | /r/askMRP | 06/10/15 10:19 PM
I suck at home maintenance. How can I learn?Yeah, I know about the switch. Unfortunately none of the tutorials tell me what to do when the issue isn't any of the things covered in the tutorials :) I'm still worried about poking around and leaving a stray wire hanging out or something. I mean, I want to know how to solve this sh*t. And, knock-on effect, I'll know how to solve stuff better in future. | /r/askMRP | 06/10/15 10:14 PM
I suck at home maintenance. How can I learn? There's a risk of serious injury or death if I just do electricity when I don't have a clue. Real talk. | /r/askMRP | 06/10/15 10:08 PM
Wife is Now Awesome... What Happens Next? It's mainly wine, tbh. Still empty calories. I'll sometimes have spirits with sparkling water, a squeeze of citrus and maybe even some chilli for a bit of pizzaz. It's nice to reduce the calorie intake, but boozing is boozing and I know it's the primary reason for my dad-bod. | /r/askMRP | 06/10/15 09:37 PM
Wife is Now Awesome... What Happens Next? She dreaded me good. I'm still reeling from it. Partly at the dread but also because I'm aware of what it is and how it affected me, so I got first-hand experience of how it affects people and it's a powerful motivator. A part of me is thinking: 'well played'. | /r/askMRP | 06/10/15 09:34 PM
Wife is Now Awesome... What Happens Next?I was basing my success on this: I want to be awesome at a good job > I'm awesome at my job I want to regularly bang a sexy wife > wife is sexy and we bang often I want to relax in the evenings in a way that doesn't affect the above > I quaff wine, chill and chat/watch Netflix Like, I've got everything I wanted. That's the trap I fell into. She probably doesn't have what she wants, as I'm not hot enough. I know this sounds like I'm in her frame - probably am - but I do want to stay married to my… | /r/askMRP | 06/10/15 09:31 PM
Observation about askMRPYeah, but unplugging is confusing. The world is suddenly different. Sure, there's a shed-load of knowledge in the sidebar but applying that to practical, real-life situations doesn't come naturally to pretty much everyone who comes here. And that sub is called ask mrp. If the answer is 'stop asking about your wife', so be it. | /r/MarriedRedPill | 06/10/15 08:56 PM
Wife is Now Awesome... What Happens Next?Got it and I'm on it. | /r/askMRP | 30/09/15 06:24 PM
Wife is Now Awesome... What Happens Next? Thanks for this. I've been STFUing, thankfully. Yep - I've no excuse. | /r/askMRP | 30/09/15 06:23 PM
Wife is Now Awesome... What Happens Next? She's not the only 8 but she's my wife and the ideal scenario here is that we stay together, with me being awesome and happy. | /r/askMRP | 30/09/15 06:20 PM
Wife is Now Awesome... What Happens Next?I found MRP a few months ago and started on the road to self-improvement by reading sidebar material and getting back to the gym for my own reasons. That was before this happened. "If she leaves you've likely earned that outcome for yourself." Totally agree. | /r/askMRP | 30/09/15 06:17 PM
