Yep. It happens. My SA case went for two years after I finally took it to court. Everyone said I was lying because he seemed like “a nice guy”. Eventually nothing happened. The judge assumed I was lying and so did everyone else. Ruined my life. I lost my job, almost got kicked out of school, drained my savings, most of my friends don’t talk to me, neither do my family. All experiences I can say are my own and as a woman, I’ve had constant sexual advances my whole life, been ignored and accused of faking when speaking about my rapist because he “seems like a nice guy”, men saying I’m emotional and overdramatic for voicing my opinions in a calm manner, being in a trade ofc every day there’s people saying I’m not physically strong enough etc. Constant crap like that. Again that’s only my experiences. Can’t and won’t speak for others.

If you’re for stopping domestic violence maybe acknowledge most domestic violence cases are done by men. Now, before all you make warriors get defensive, look at the stats. It’s not wrong. Not saying all men do, but majority of cases are done by men. So, to stop domestic violence, doesn’t it make sense to focus on who’s doing most of the domestic violence?
