Maybe get some toys for the bedroom? That’s always fun. Just be honest and tell her you are not feeling as attracted to her. There could be a medical reason she is overweight. Maybe she needs her thyroid checked or a medication she’s taking. You won’t know if you don’t have an honest heart to heart. You might save your marriage or come to the realization it’s not going to work. Try counseling and if it does not work you can walk away with a clear conscience.

Says the man who said he got sucked into gaslighting. I think we were both pretty much saying the same thing and it does not just mean an affair in relationships. It can be about drug abuse, lies in general. I never said Narcissist was new. I’ve been around a long time. I said it’s being used a lot. In forums, articles and by therapist. People are too quick to pull the trigger on that word. My therapist had me convinced my soon to be ex was a narcissist but I did research and they did not seem t…

That’s just evil. Nobody deserves that. Give her a can of tuna and tell her she smells. See how much she laughs at that.

Because you disagree with my comment? I’m fine where I am. Thanks

Damn dude… that’s a rough one. The other guy is going to stay with his wife and probably has other chicks on the side. Your STBX is going to screw herself. Just watch it happen. Karma is a bitch and so is she. You are better off filing first.

If you have not slept with her for two years and she’s not making claims the baby is yours I would not worry about it. You can prove through a paternity test after the baby is born. I don’t think you have anything to worry about. Even if you don’t mean it congratulate her and say I hope you are happy. Don’t give off any jealousy vibes. It will be fine and should not affect your divorce.

It honestly the way you presented it. It was like she can have the kid I just want my money. I’m non binary so I’m not just here to shit all over men. I like to see both sides. I have sided with many men in here. I do have a question if you don’t mind answering… why did you have low self esteem and what changed that for you? I get where you are coming from. My partner was lazy AF never worked and a drug addict. I have a post nuptial agreement. Maybe word it a little differently so you don’t come…

Not really… you didn’t explain your situation. I don’t know how she treats you. I’m just seeing from what you wrote. I’m giving you my opinion that it’s not going to fly with courts. Maybe she had PPD? Have you tried counseling? The thing that bothered me was not about wanting a post nuptial agreement. You don’t seem interested in anything but your money. You are willing to trade full custody of your child for it. It has nothing to do with sticking up for a person I don’t even know. It’s how you…

Yeah…that will not work. Nobody would be that stupid to sign it. Your not fighting for your kid and you’re planning your divorce. Serious 🚩🚩 here. Not to mean but that’s a 🍆 move and says a lot about your character. You obviously don’t love her and a judge will see right through that. She just had your child and you are looking for her to sign a post nuptial agreement. You are better off asking for a divorce and honestly so is she.

That’s not what it means. I agree it’s thrown around a lot but look it up. It may have happened to you and you have not realized it. There is a series on (I think) Showtime about it starring Julia Roberts. It’s more about someone telling you something that happened didn’t happen or something that was said by your partner and they put the blame on you saying you said it. The person gaslighting you is trying to drive you crazy. Literally insane to the point that you are questioning yourself if it …

Gaslighting was voted the number one word used by boomers this year.

My attorney told me that inheritance money as long as it was not used to maintain the marriage, marital home, cars, childcare etc is not on the table. But if it was used for mortgages, household bills etc it’s considered co- mingled. This is definitely a question for your attorneys. In the end it sounds like it might get drained fighting it out. Maybe offer her a portion as a settlement.

Get your children in therapy as soon as possible. If they are being conditioned to say things like that you are being set up. You be proactive and tell the therapist that you think this is what is happening and you are concerned for your children’s mental health. I know someone who had a wife that convinced their daughter that Dad sexually abused them. He ended up with full custody but the girls had to have a lot of therapy. Nip it in the bud now.

That’s not true actually depending on your state. If you use that money to support your marital home it’s fair game. It’s unfortunate but definitely something to talk to your lawyer about. If you kept it completely separate you would be ok but paying the utility bill from that account made it fair game.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
