Sadly it does favor women since they're considered the default guardian, but there's no better alternative. Alimony & child support exist to ensure no one is trapped in a marriage (abusive or not) due to fear for a child's financial wellbeing in the scenario of say, a SAHM. does it have any practical value? I suppose the practical value can be the same reason you got your masters, it was necessary for a promotion/career shift. I think I'm envisioning marriages where both partners work while you're envisioning a traditional marriage where the woman wouldn't have much need for that, however. I think presumption of innocence should go both ways - women should be assumed to not be making false accusations until proven otherwise (e.g. by text messages or witnesses). Men should be assumed to be rapists until proven otherwise (rapekits, text messages, injuries, witnesses). Pretty simple really. Police should be as objective as possible when investigating and getting both sides of the story. None of that "put just the man in handcuffs under all circumstances," either.

The article does have a point. Majority of rapes go unreported/unprosecuted in reality. Plus, if any of you were cops, would you truly be inclined to believe a drunk woman who told you she had been raped? I had a stroke trying to read that title. In all fairness, the quotes in the article are rather over-the-top for simply describing women. At best, it's bad writing. "natural brunette beauty," "perfect curves," "stunning woman," "ripe with young womanhood," etc. People are free to write what they want, but you've gotta admit it's obvious what kind of perspective the author is imagining the characters with.
