| 8 | Those men who are finished with divorceMine was an easy thing. She felt guilty enough about cheating that she went with what I said. Texas law and most cases said I wouldn’t do any better than 60/40 so I asked her for that and she didn’t fight me. I would really rather have her back cause I’m not happy after the divorce. I know it’s stupid it’s where I’m at. | /r/Divorce_Men | 18/12/24 01:24 AM |

| 1 | Seeking male perspective on navigating life post-divorceMy take being a man in a similar situation. I understand now I was in a relationship with a narcissist. So I want to make it work. She wanted a divorce after cheating and I didn’t get good enough quick enough. She probably wanted time between affair and divorce so she can blame me. I was with a woman after we were separated. She was a sweetheart and I tried to end it because I was to fresh off of the relationship. I knew I would run back if the ex was even sweet. Guess what she wanted something … | /r/Divorce_Men | 08/10/24 04:01 AM |
| 10 | Wants divorce but to think on it for 6 monthsBased on what you said if you’re taking all that off her plate and she is still upset……let her go. I did so much for my ex wife and the family. Still was never appreciated. It was all about her. Take a step back maybe with a therapist and examine your relationship. Cause with perspective my life was horrible and what did I try to do, keep that dysfunctional life style. Hell she was killing me with my depression. I begged for her to help me get out of my really bad spot nothing. It’s about her! S… | /r/Divorce_Men | 23/09/24 05:50 AM |
| 4 | What was the event that led to your divorce? Was it preventative?Yes mine cheated on me. Said she wanted it to work. Looking back lies. She made sure to wait a while before really pushing my buttons and getting me to be the bad guy. Then she divorced me. So I was the not better bad guy. It has brought me more pain than I ever thought possible. That the person you love most in this world could so coldly do things and then expect you to just get over it already. Could I have prevented it? If I had been in a better spot at the time maybe. | /r/Divorce_Men | 16/09/24 04:34 PM |
