You can’t have it both ways. You can’t say it’s a man’s right only when it’s convenient to your argument.

But it’s in her body temporarily!! What do you not get about that! She did not make the fetus herself, it’s not all hers. Yes! The man is half the cause of the child’s existence. So he is also half the cause of the fetus so why is he denied rights when it’s a fetus? Why can a woman say oh I’m going to abort but the father can’t? I don’t even understand where you’re going with the donation hypothetical. It’s completely irrelevant.

Is there total bodily autonomy? Did she create the fetus by herself? or did a man contribute and is a man's DNA part of that fetus? Does she have autonomy over something that is genetically separate from herself? She has autonomy over her body. But she has autonomy over something that is only for a limited time (i.e. the fetus) Does she get to make decisions for something that will eventually have its own autonomy? Exactly! so if a woman decides to abort isnt that denying a baby to be rights? …

I don’t know know how I can be more clear. A woman has bodily autonomy Should we say that she has autonomy over something that will not be her body either as a result of abortion or pregnancy?

Would you rather pay for a child for 18 years you never wanted or undergo cramps and pain for a few days?

I clearly understand what autonomy is and I am not conflating the two. It is temporary over something that will no longer be there. Yes I have had an abortion. And no it sucks but having temp pain in comparison to raising a child is convenient. If you can’t understand that you’re in denial

It is temporary when it’s over something that will eventually have its own autonomy. Butagain I do not agree that a woman has boldly autonomy all nine months. At some point between a couple months and delivery, there is another being with autonomy. Because that child’s rights were purely and solely determined by the mother, who had temporary autonomy. A child had a right to be financially cared for, that does not mean it needs to come from the father. So whatever the woman wants goes huh? If she…

She does have bodily autonomy of HER body. She does not have autonomy over a born child. The decisions she makes during her temporary bodily autonomy of an unborn child though carry over pass that temporary time and bear into a new phase where the baby is autonomous. Why is that fair? Why can she have a decision that impacts the lives of two other people for the next 18 years when that autonomy was temporary and therefore no longer holds any autonomy ? They are differences yes but they are not e…

First of I’m pro-choice to an extent. I believe a woman does have a choice to do with her body what she will, until another life is formed. When that is idk. I know I don’t believe it’s just a woman body anymore after nine months. My point is a woman’s bodily autonomy is temporary over an unborn baby. Whether someone argues it’s from conception or until delivery. It’s temporary it does not last. Another life with its own autonomy is either formed or not at the end of that woman’s autonomy. So wh…

So because a woman has bodily autonomy for NINE months she can therefore decide to abort or not to abort. But If a man decides to forgo being a father before birth and the woman decides not to abort he is responsible for the child for eighteen years for the sake of a woman’s NINE months of “autonomy“

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
