I'd say that right now I get along better with my father (it was the other way around until less than a year ago). My mother basically taught me what kind of relationships I need to avoid (I had 5 step fathers in total). She's a feminist, but she taught me nonetheless stuffs about make up, body hair, and clothes. Still, she far to be my role model (euphemism, she isn't at all, and I'm terrified to become her, even if I still love her) On the other hand, my father is with the same person since I'…

Is teasing your SO inherently bad? My SO and I are constantly teasing each other. He more or less seduced me like that, and told me that what attracted him is that I responded well, by not getting upset and making light jokes about him. I wonder if from a RP point of view it's seen as disrespectful? Or should I just make sure to stay respectful while teasing him?

There is many more ways to be intelligent than IQ. IQ doesn't determine your social intelligence, your "body intelligence" (I mean by that the easiness with wich you move around, your dexterity), your musical, literary, drawing intelligence... My parents made me pass an IQ test. It just mesure very unpractical logical skills. I may be able to mentally place in order then recite a list of 20 numbers and letters, fill a logical series of numbers rapidly, and tell you what's wrong in an image. But …

My perfect marriage looks so perfect to me I doubt it'll ever go as smoothly as I wish! The core of it would of course to live a long life in a loving and respectful relationship with my husband, and raise a happy family. I would love to buy an old farmhouse and help my SO renovate it to fit our tastes, and have enough land so he could have horses, cause they are his passion. He would take care of the big chunks of work, and I'd give him a hand at it, and I'd do the smaller things like painting …

How does one "calculate" ones SMV? I find it to be kind of relative to every person's tastes, so it's hard for me to evaluate it. Since we started our relationship, my own SMV probably improved (he made me like dresses and colorful clothing, along with other make up than mascara), and this entirely thanks to him. But I still think it's lower than his, as he is a very outgoing and extroverted guy. I learned first and seond hand how good he is at getting girls wrapped around his finger :')

Well, I guess I was blinded by my worries about myself to realize what could be going on about his attraction to me. But he were asking like 10 times a day a that time. It may now be only twice a day, but at least I almost always say yes (not for everything, but if I don't feel in the mood he never says no to a bj) But I'll keep what you said in mind, and will thrive to be a better gf.

I started taking the pill a month before we got together, then switched to the implant four months after (I was too afraid to forget my pill). So it's not really correlated in time. About the condoms and diaphragm, as I'm only 20 I can't take the risk of the ~15% failure in regular use. I considered the IUD, but I must admit that the memories of my painful and kinda heavy flow took me back (I'm too much of a softie). But I think more and more seriously about the IUD idea.

Your fears are quite relatable to me, even if I'm not yet in this situation. I may not be the best person to give advices, but I'll do my best. About how the pregnancy changes your body, your worries about the delivery and biological things like that, the first thing I'd say is to not read "horror stories" on the internet. Of course, things aren't always going perfectly fine. But it's a really small percentage. The second thing might be relevant only where I live, but you may benefit from findin…

As my SO and I are still not living truly together (we are together at his parents house during holydays and weekends), I can't give a "true" couple advice. Most of the time, I rely on little things: Little notes under his pillow when I wake up and leave earlier than him, or even just when he can't see me place them. Cooking asian style noodles or making him a ketchup, cheese and sausage sandwich (gross to me, wonderful to him ') if he and his father worked outside. Sending random "<3" texts (or…

The first day of our relationship. I know it wasn't the most intelligent thing to do now, but I was only 17, I knew him since 6th grade, and it was obvious that we were interested in each other already three months prior. We went on "dates" (we never called them that, but, hey, grabbing a tea together then going to the theatre is basically a date) and spent a lot of early evening together at school (he was waiting for his parents to pick him up, I was staying to read in a peaceful environment an…
