... Out of 168 million women in america, even if your statistic is true. Thats like 2% of the population of women. I wonder in the past, how many women modeled for playboy and similar magazines? How many women worked at places like hooters, which had a reputation for wearing revealing outfits? Or at other sexualised jobs. You're acting like any of this is new. But sex had sold since I was a kid, and long before then.

Not sure how sex dolls will help. Like, i can get being lonely. But a sex doll is just a male version of a vibrator. Its a toy, and even if the once I using it would like to pretend it's real, subconsciously, they'd know it's a lie.

God, i can feel that. I've been working at a day centre for people with intellectual disability for 5 years, come September. I volunteered here for 9 months, before getting employed full time. I'm the last of the old timers, I've known my customers for years, and know how to deal with shit. Men come in as agency staff, or casuals, and they try to tell me how to do my job. One of them had the audacity to claim that when he wasn't scheduled on, he would "get worried" for the customers. I asked him…

Boo hoo on the cat thing. So this dude never took photos of his cat outside a porn context? Never had any memories? Come on. It's such a shitty lie.

Honestly, i thought i was bi for a while until i got more reading about compulsory heterosexuality. And it makes sense. I'd crush on fictional dudes, but reject real life men. So I think I'm gay?

I dunno about this one. Traditionalist men don't nessasarily get joy out of you're peace of mind or happiness. They get joy out of being in control. Especially if they earn most/all of the money (being the bread bearer.) It's an easy trap to fall into for abuse, because then you won't have funds to escape once he gets controlling. Yes, men should have a job and bring stuff to the table. But it's up to individual women to figure out what Stuff she wants at the table. That is what makes a HVM.

"Unlike girls who wear tons of makeup, I love video games. #girlboss" Like, accurate I guess? I dont wear makeup often (I'm lazy and never learnt how to do it right.) and I do like video games. Though, I don't use either of these in pickme ways. hashtag anything is cringe tho.

Power dynamics. A 30 year old has a lot more life experience, and more institutional power (job, house, connection, etc) than an 18 year old whos only real accomplishment at that point is graduating high school. This can be seen in the majority of age gap relationships. Though, i think a 30- 40 gap or a 40- 50 gap arent as uneven, both should have accomplishments under their belt by then. It's the same reason uni profs aren't supposed to date their students pretty much.

In one way, she's right. You can't teach your husband how to love you.. But she's wrong in her assumption that, if wives change themselves, they can influence their husband to change. He'll only change if he decides to. It has nothing to do with what the wife does. And no woman worth her salt will wait around for some dude to change for her. She'll just go find someone who doesn't have that particular dealbreaker.

Similar story here. My dad would play games like Tenchu and Laura Croft, and me and my brother would watch when we were <5 years old. He'd also let us take turns playing (even if i only ever really wandered around, didn't try to get into fights). That wasn't all he did though. He'd put up swingsets, and built a tree house, a fair bit of outdoor work. He wasn't a great dad by any means, but the times where he wanted to be with us were good times. While I think the awards going to this dude are a …

Thats the main difference between Redpill and FDS. Sure, we're both "dating stratagy" subs, but we conduct ourselves on different frameworks. Redpill is about making women be what they want, using subterfuge and manipulations. Look at how much they talk about "Keeping frame" and other bullshit, to keep their lover on the backfoot. FDS , however, says don't try to explain to a man what he's doing wrong, don't bother making paragraphs. You can't make a man do anything- just leave and find a man wh…

Lesson- dont build a man. He will use everything you gave to him to screw you over psychologically. She sacrificed so much time and money, supporting him through school.... to have the rug pulled out from under her. Instead of investing in a man's potential future- invest in your own.

Never been on a date, but i have an experience. It was new years eve. I'd asked my old friend from high school if he wanted to hang out, like we'd done in the past on new years to watch anime and other bullshit. He got back to me, late, so that i had to run home. The person id been talking too while out joked how i had been convinced down from 'we can meet up around 7:30pm' to 'I'll head home now to pick you up, and pick up your friends.', and said it was more like i was meeting my boyfriend, th…

LMAO. Idiot. 'Where do you live?' is to make sure you aren't halfway across the world. 'What do you do for work?' Because when people work, it takes up a fair bit of their life, and can tell a lot about a person's personality, and whether they're responsible or a slacker. This dumbass could have a valid reason not to work (college, caring for a sick relative, etc) but from that outburst, he really dragged his own trash-ass out.

I read on twitter about this exchange "This is why edgelord and carelord relationships dont work." She cares about people, he gets a rise about trying to irritate people.... a match made in hell imo. Though, you can also ask if she really cares, because if she did, why get with him in the first place?

This is sooo true. Like, the ideal guys physique for me? Would be at least a little feminine (I'm bi). Short and thin, that's cool! (In an ideal world, I'd be interested in role reversal aspects, but we'll.... most dudes seem to take it as a way to have their cake and eat it.) But that's small potatoes compared to personality. I want a guy who doesnt expect me to morph into some excellent homemaker, and drop my dreams to be some stay at home mother/wife. I want a guy who doesnt treat me as lesse…

I dont think its a great idea. The only real way to get freedom from subjugation is to make your own money. Emphasis on own. I've seen too many stories, of housewives or women who just can't support themselves with their wage, being stuck with their abuser due to lack of funds. Being a sugar baby just seems like a situation bad men can take advantage of- abusers love it when you can't leave, whether due to lack of funds, children with them, or just plain old 'I still love him' thoughts. Short te…

That's not really true for this sub. There are users here that were also members of gendercritical before that sub's ban. But the main purpose of this sub is to help women avoid being taken advantage in the dating and relationship sphere. Which is why I don't personally think this sub will get banned. Unless the whole topic of this sub changes. Keep it to dating strategy, and we may have a chance.

Same. Especially roaches. They aren't a big deal when they're small and just run around the place. But i live in the tropics. These things are double in size and START FLYING! I cant stand that! Also huntsmans that can grow to the size of dinner plates (all leg, still creepy) luckily the huge huntsmans are rare. I'm not gonna begrudge people for being spooked out lol. These things are awful! Like if bugs didnt move so erratically i could cope, but they change directions on the fly, and the faste…

That thread is a nightmare. One of the first things I saw last night when it was newly posted, was a dude arguing that this kind of situation shouldnt be called rape. Classic "but its not black and white, it's gray!" Kind of nonsense. Reading through the comments here just affirms my position. Touching/fucking people while they're asleep (especially when their drunk or otherwise under the influence) is wrong. They may not complain at the time, or understand how its violating at the time. But it …

for context, this conversation was about the Aussie bushfires, and Clive Palmer? That "Friend" is a fuckwit. Climate change caused the bushfire season to start earlier, and run to more devastating conclusions. And Clive is just an all around shitty human being. For the friend to then treat them like that.... the grandad is a cool guy for putting a stop to it.

Any article on "maintenance sex" needs a massive caveat in regards to abuse and unhappiness. Maintenance sex assumes that the relationship is harmonious and loving and both parties are content with each other. Anything less than that, then "maintenance sex" feels like low-key sexual assault. Thank you for saying it so well. Anybody writing articles about this topic needs to think of the implications, of what they could be telling people in toxic relationships to do. But they dont.

Gonna second this statement. I'm basing this off The Gift of Fear, but if persistent people can see that you've blocked them or changed your number (most sites show when youre blocked) they take it as communication. They know you were reading their nonsense or listening to their voicemails, and that it affected you enough to block them. They just want to matter in your life, positive or negative. Reasonable people would back off after being blocked. These guys will keep trying. Not reading their…

As someone who does gift art.... never gift shitty sketches like this. If you're going to draw art of your girl, why not try something nice like a portrait, or something that can be hung up in the house. This? Is shit. And it doesn't take any effort to make some dumb sketches. It doesn't show respect either. Get with it.

I think what pissed me off most about their relationship was seeing her make a post on twitter about her (admittedly stupid) babie's names meaning, breaking it down. He comments that she messed up the name of a fighter jet. She asks him for leniency about the spelling error, considering she just had his baby. I just..... that's not the kind of thing id expect to see on twitter. If it really bothered him, why not talk to her offline? Or better yet, leave it be, he knew what she meant!

I tried wearing bras as a teen. Because im autistic, I'm touch sensitive around my ribs. I tried so many different kinds and nothing felt okay. After graduating i just stopped, and started wearing camisoles under my shirt instead. Its still not comfy, I'm a d cup so they're annoying. But its better than constantly adjusting the softer and less supportive bras, and feeling like i couldn't breath while wearing tight or underside bras.

Tbh this is kinda what really drove it in, that guys should pay on dates. I got stuck thinking that it needed to be fair for a while. However, during courtship is the best time to make an impression. The best way to make an impression? To show he has enough of a brain to realise Netflix isnt special. To show that he values your time and money.

This is legitimately what i made (in a 'here's stick on ingredient pictures and a sheet with Velcro attachment point's' way) for my customers in the cooking classes. Difference is they have intellectual disabilities. So having the pictures available for them to see, and to reference while shopping, helps increase their independence. That these need to be used for nondisabled men.... That's sad.

Thank god some of the comments there have sense. A new mum, having to do what looks to be the whole job of raising a child, also raising a dog. His wife probably thought, like most people who like dogs, but dont know much about them, that this wouldnt be too much on top of a kid. A puppy is so small, what hassle can it be? The ones in movies are always so good. The commentators saying to throw the wife out instead, yeah ok. Then the OP gets to have his job, a kid, a puppy to raise by himself....…

Two of my coworkers were each others "work husband" and "work wife". They tried to deny for ages that they were dating each other, and cheating on their partners in the process. But everyone could see it. I previously had some respect for the woman, and sympathy for the man (whod been doing support work independently, until the mother of his customer left town with her son without notice, and he had no more job.) But after the way theyd waste time at work, and other annoying shit, started despis…

These kinds of stories are why i will always recommend The Gift of Fear. Its horrendous that men will do this to their families, and the book helps break down the "why?" of it- control. Not having you feels worse to them then death, so they chase it. For you, the kids, and for themselves. Thats why so many of these are murder- suicides. Its not an accident that this happens so often. Get out early, if you notice red flags. The longer you wait, the more entitled they feel to keep you. Leave early…

Got diagnosed with aspergers at 7, but so much of this still applies. Took a lot of time to learn that honestly, being alone is better than suffering in a relationship. Id spent so much of my time as a teen giving myself hell, because i couldnt be friends with "normal" people. It really made me a doormat. Having a job im good at (disability support worker) has really helped boost my confidence back up. Maybe no one will look at me with respect ever, because im autistic. But at least i can respec…

No, because forcing yourself to do something tends to be fairly obvious. It'd be clear to him that it's not done out of romantic love or attraction and that it was only for pity. That doesn't sound like it'd improve his self esteem, but just make it worse. Either that or he wouldn't cotton-on to what was happening, and get super clingy and think it'd happen again. Heck, this is why I think most incel ideas of "If you have sex with us once we'll be good forever" is a (perhaps unintentional) lie. …

Think for a minute, of all the time spent during a day that a woman won't be expending trying to attract a man. Time during work, when she's alone in her home, when she's just having fun with friends. Women don't spend 24/7 trying to attract a man, just like men don't spend 24/7 trying to attract a woman. If a woman had nothing she was interested in for her own sake, nothing that drove her, wouldn't that get boring? Heck, boredom itself tends to drive people to do things. Even if a woman was try…

Mostly, it's because a lot of the content shoves people into small boxes. If you're a man, you've got to be an alpha male. If you're a woman, you're a slut with the mind of a teenager at best. Fall outside that.... You're either a beta or a unicorn (And unicorns don't exist.) It reminds me of how I used to view people when I was 14, it's a very black and white way of thinking. And from what experience I have now, the world tends to be in shades of gray. For MRP, it's how a lot of the advice give…
