There's a splinter sub called actuallychildfree that has a female-only mod team. It's not women only, but it's close!

The main CF sub is a trashfire and their mod team is super libfemmy and vindictive. I've quite enjoyed the splinter sub at r-actuallychildfree that has a women-only mod team. It's been quite recently and would love to see more FDS women there

r-actuallychildfree isn't a women's sub, but it does have an all-female mod team! It's been kinda dead there for a bit. Would love to see an influx of members from here to make it come alive again

r-actuallychildfree has an all-female mod team. The sub itself not women-only but it's gone rather quiet recently and would love to see more women there talking about these things.

Or data, which equals money. Downloading Tinder to your phone, even if you don't use it, still gives the app lots of un-revokable permissions to mine your data. Data they can sell, data they can use to suck you back into the app if you try to leave. They are like tobacco companies that absolutely know their product is dangerous and addictive, but are going to deny it as long as possible. The best thing we can do is delete Tinder and all stop using all Match Group products. Starve the beast.

Agreed, run, don't look back. I saw post on the other sub after it was removed, so I couldn't read the OP. I scrolled through the responses calling it malicious and cruel and glad I finally get to read the post because they were right — this is an act of malice by an abusive person. This isn't a one-off. She told him she hates pranks and yet he still does them. This is the test to see how much he can get away with. They were together for 4 years, he absolutely knows how important this tree was t…

Also literally my first thought. Wisconsin and Michigan are pretty comparable Midwest states, both with a lot of conservative rural farmland surrounding more liberal metro hubs and suburbs that tend to lean Republican. Both have Democratic governors that are categorically hated by the majority of their right-wing populace. For both Democratic governors, I've heard people repeat the typical rhetoric of casual violence simply because they are Democrats. But kidnapping Tony Evers? I seriously doubt…

My friend just got the ring after 3 years and she's in her late 20s. She was about to move in with him and he was the one that wanted to pop the question before cohabitation. She was the one pushing cohabitation on him last year because she wanted to "move the relationship along" (🙄). I thought she was going to end up a Forever Girlfriend with the way things were going. She moves in at the start of this month and he just did it 2 weeks ago. They had a vacation to planned pre-Covid and decided to…

32 here and checking in as well. I feel like we're right on the line of the "paying 50/50" split in the generations. I've tried dated men younger (even 2 or 3 years younger) than men and they don't seem to get it. But any guy I date that's 2 or 3 years older is practically aghast if I reach for my purse at all. For me, there wasn't a clear cut rule for who pays growing up, but my logic went that that if someone asked me out, he should pay. If it's not money I would have spent otherwise, why shou…

This is it! Block on SM and don't look back. There's no positives to looking back, no matter how their lives are going without me. If they are doing better, it makes me feel inadequate. If they are doing worse, I might feel guilty about it, or worse they might try to slide back into my DMs. Thinking about my ex from years ago; he hated his job but had a good degree and could get a better job at another place that he'd like better. I'd send him opportunities but he just ignored them, too lazy to …

Sluts are women that sleep with other women’s husbands (in my opinion.) While I agree with you on the whole, I wish we had a similarly derogative name for the married men in those scenarios.

Aww thank you so much! I do try to help my brother understand in small ways. He's a certified couch creature, smokes too much weed and plays video games all the time. He doesn't go out at all and then complains how he can't get a girlfriend. I try to talk to him to keep him from going full MGTOW but he doesn't understand a girlfriend doesn't just fall out of the sky wanting to be his bangmaid. Yeah, I went to a college that was NOT known for the program (but was the school that accepted me for what I wanted, so I went). It little to no resources for us, outdated equipment, and was in a part of the country that makes it difficult to make a network for my career, I had to move back home right out of college. Meanwhile, as I graduating and struggling, my brother picked the same damn major and got into best school in the country for it. Brand new equipment, top tier teachers, whole works.…

I honestly think people get addicted to OLD like people get addicted to gambling. You can keep playing the games, wasting all your time trying to hit that big pay day, but the house is always going to win.

My thoughts exactly. My brother and I both work in the same field but and despite the fact that I am both older and more qualified than he is, we are at the same place in our career. And he's lazy af. If a man is making the same amount of money as me, it means he's not trying hard enough.

I'm 5"2 and so it's pretty hard for me to date someone shorter. I dated a 5"4 man not long ago. The only man to every make me go 50/50 on literally every single date. Also made me plan every single date. Man had his chance and he blew it. All he had to do was pay for a single date, but three in a row where it's a 50/50 split but he ordered the more expensive meal and the extra drink? No sir, I'm not your sugar mama.

OMG they all use the same fucking 5 words to talk to us I swear. Had a complete scrote message me 2 days before the start of the shut down. He was a fling I made out with a 1.5 years earlier after a work function. It was a mistake of mine; I never date in my own industry. It really was one of their better seasons. I've watched the show for a long time and it's been interesting to see how it's evolved, especially with their female characters. Even all the way back in Season 6 (2007), they had the episode about Bebe's Boobs. Because of all the attention she gets, Wendy gets breast implants (warning: link has some cartoon gore. The show doesn't pull its punch when it comes to showing what cosmetic surgery really is). Wendy's mom is of course reluctant to let her 10 …

I do see a lot of posts with uncensored reddit usernames and I think about the male lurkers here who can easily target anyone who's username is posted. That poor, unsuspecting person who posted to another sub probably gets bombarded by scrotes – regardless of the nature of the post – and has no idea why. And if it's a woman with no experience with FDS, it would be a super rude introduction to us. I report them when I see them, but my heart goes out to the already swamped mods because sometimes i…

Reminds me of that episode of South Park where the girls join the school's board game club. The boys complain to the guidance counsellor that the girls are better than them at the games ("Every game we play, they like, figure out all the rules and then they use the rules to make us look stupid!"). They go all the way to congress to demand the right to their own segregated boys club for games because girls are just "naturally better" at games. They succeed, but the girls start their own club whic…

Oh yeah, for sure. There's definitely a presumption that I'm the whiskey-drinking, cigar-smoking, outdoorsy (read: low maintenance) Cool Girl™ that's super sexual and DTF. I think Robin from HIMYM has a lot to do with it and there's also some of our own media perpetuating the stereotype. Also, there's a whole weird thing about having a "Canadian girlfriend." I don’t need a man to take care of me, it’s not like I’m going out with any man who asks just for a free meal. But I need a man who wants to take care of me, and one way to single that out is to see who wants to treat me to dinner because they want to treat me to dinner. YES!! When T***p was elected, I got 4 separate marriage proposals in my DMs. No joke, four scrotes really tried the "haha, sooooo wanna get married? lol" I've lived here for my entire professional career and I have exactly zero resources in Canada. I haven't used OLD since 2015 and only once since then have I dated a guy who used it. I didn't know he used it since I'm not on it. We had a hobby class together and asked me out after. There's one huge reason why I personally won't go on OLD: I work in media and I know how these companies use and sell your data. This one always makes me scream. Even though birth control can only prevent pregnancy, and not terminate it (yes, even in OTC birth control like Plan B), many religious companies in the US will refuse to cover it saying they have a "religious exemption to abortion." When told that these medicines do not and can not cause an already present fetus to abort, they say it is their "deeply held religious believe that they do cause abortions". 48% of women had men continue to contact them after saying they were not interested; 46% had explicit messages sent they didn't ask for; 33% were called an offensive name; and 11% were threatened with physical harm. 33% being called an "offensive" name feels low. I'm sure women aren't counting "w**re" and "b**ch" and other standard derogative names because they are thrown around so often casually in normal media.

UGH makes me so mad!!! On a related note, heart attacks are more often fatal in women because our symptoms present differently. The classic "pain in my left arm" we are all taught is for men only. From an article on the American Heart Association website: We’ve all seen the movie scenes where a man gasps, clutches his chest and falls to the ground. In reality, a heart attack victim could easily be a woman, and the scene may not be that dramatic. “Although men and women can experience chest press…

40 percent of relationships start there, the other 60 are not all meeting by chance. About 5 are arranged, 10 gets the oop from a friend, and the other 35 meet by chance IRL. Would love a link to a study for these numbers

Agree. I don't do OLD now for many reasons, but I have no issues with women who feel like they must use it. Normally I'd be much stricter about not using it, but in the quarantine, I can see how it would be hard to meet people to date the usual ways. Pre-COVID I'd get asked out in IRL about 3-5 times a year and I'd date maybe one or two of them. Personally, I usually question a woman's need to be actively dating at all. I wont link to their sub here because I don't want them to know that we know yet, I want to give the mods a chance to decide how they'd like to deal with it. I don't want to message the mods right now since I know their modmail must be swamped.

The most recent trashfire I had the misfortune to involve myself in (pre-FDS, I'm not dating right now due to COVID) did something that was the first time it ever happened to me. We had a fight earlier in the day. I hardly had ever fought with the men I had been dating so it was a very bizzare experience for me. He apologized and we moved on. That night during sex he started... I guess "angry fucking" me. Normally the sex had been a gentle passionate affair with him (and for me in my prior relat…

Strip out all the emotional language and it reads like a list of product features ("We have private messages! You can restrict who is on your account! Great hobby for couples to bond with! Totally free, bring whatever you don't wear anymore and take what you want. Everything else gets donated to women's shelters. Our rules are simple: You can come empty handed. When my friends and I were about 16 and got catcalled, we used to yell back "OMG, we're twelve!" I look young even now and easily passed for 12 at 16 years old. Sometimes it would really freak them out. You'd see them get super embarrassed and they'd usually start trying to hide themselves. (Though occasionally they'd just shrug and move on). Looking back, it's they knew we were young — very clearly high-schoolers or younger. What is even the logic here? It's okay to catcall a high-schooler as a…

If a man truly wants to be with you, he will let you know. YUP! I literally had a man change his whole career because he worked nights and I worked days. We dated for a couple weeks. Wanting us to be equal and the same is a wonderful goal, but we are not there yet, and to tell women to play by the new rules when the world is still the same only hurts and disadvantages women, not men. Damn this is truly it. You said it so succinctly I'm saving this for all the pickmes in my life who keep screaming about how I'm the one holding back women's equality because I don't split the bill. Ugh, pre-FDS I was nearly manipulated by NVM who also did some therapy before meeting me. I suspect his previous GF made him go because it didn't come up until we were fighting a lot. You're right! Like in any abusive relationship, leaving is "harder until it's not". And it will always always escalate. In her case, telling him "no" is harder than just going along with it... until it's not. Until one day he finally does something that crosses the line and she wakes up and says to herself "well, standing up to him/leaving will be hard, but it can't be worse than this." It's harder, until it's not.

Pretty common for men to drag a lone low-ranking female employee into these kinds of meetings and basically say "Hey, so we made this thing, but we just need a woman to tell us that it's perfect and needs no changes. Would you please confirm that it's an amazing image so we can use you as political cover if things go badly?" I admire your naive optimism, but no. The whole point of FDS is that we can't just "hope" that the man we are dating is good, nice, or truthful. We have to assume they are all dangerous until proven otherwise, and that's why we have the Strategy. Someone with an agenda against me would not "speak for itself". I'm not sure how you came to the conclusion that that "hope" would be enough to protect and save me from men who are on a mission to harm me, but you are wrong. If someone more powerful tha…

I replied to the commenter above, but I had some bad experiences with Meetup and would caution against it, even for making friends. The LVM at the event know you're a vulnerable lone woman and will creep on you. What about meetup.com? I'd just like to say joining meetup was one the worst decisions I ever made moving to a new city. First, you can't ever get off it. No matter how many times I unsubscribe, their emails still keep coming. I've looked up how to fully delete my account but even that doesn't seem to work. And since the app isn't made for dating, it's not as safe as actual dating sites. It's hard to block people (last I checked anyway) and way too easy for creeps to look you up. Second, the amo…

You'll meet people organically, I promise! You say your friends "aren't connected to HVM" but trust me, neither are the apps! You're not going to find a HVM man there. Leave them for the rest of your college experience. Focus on yourself and your friend group. You WILL meet people in the real world, even in a pan…

I had to go look at her videos because I literally couldn't believe it. There's a young guy who kinda looks like this all over her page. The weird #3 jersey shirt thing makes another appearance too. Dunno if sis just used an age filter to freak us out or something, but for my own sanity I gotta believe this isn't real lol

This has been asked in this sub before. In FDS there are no HVM until they are consistently brought your life value over time without causing you negative value. Every man on Online Dating is a LVM. He's a stranger on the internet and not bringing you value and is therefore LV until he can prove otherwise, consistently, over a long period of time.

Men decide to have a long term relationship or marriage... and then they choose the first suitable woman that comes along after that point. This is the truth. Even if you are – actually – especially if you are perfect, he will string you along and treat you like shit if he doesn't want an LTR, and nothing we say or do will change it. He knows you're perfect, that's why he can't break up with you. But he also doesn't want the relationship. So the best move for him is to treat you like shit until …

The last scrote I dated was super shady and did just enough therapy to use "therapy words" against me but not enough to heal the gaping void in his soul. We had a fight and he was telling me I was doing this to him! "I'm trying to communicate and tell you how I feel but you are just turning it on me." Fine, I say, you say your piece, and I mentally filed mine away for later. Next time he did it, I brought it up to him and suddenly there's DARVO again! Now he's listing out all the things I've bee…

You should check out Snow Tha Product! She frequently lifts other women up in her music and is independent, absolutely KILLING it out there without a label! Small section of my fave of Snow's FDS-centered songs are: Waste of Time Gaslight and Myself But honestly all her music is fire. I just discovered Jesse Reyes, she's got some bangers: F*** Being Friends is great, but it's even better if you listen on 1.25x speed (trust me). I'm short too! Only time I dated a man my height, he disclosed that he had medical issues as a child that made him malnourished so he didn't grow properly. He was allergic to everything under the sun and had no personality. Not only did I have to pick the date location🚩, but when the server asked he immediately answered "50/50 split"🚩. Thanks sis! Yeah, the percentage of "childfree" characters that end up having a baby is... very high. Makes it hard for the men I date to believe me when I say I don't want children. They are so convinced they are going to be the magical dick that changes my mind 🙄

Scrote Logic: Women are gold diggers and only want a man with lots of money, so I've put the entire focus of my life on obtaining wealth at the expense of the emotional wellbeing of myself and other around me, and now that I am a rich asshole I am entitled to have any woman I want, who of course, only wants me for my money.

Holy fucking shit I hate that show with a burning passion and I don't think I've even seen more than 3 episodes all the way through. I think Robin's character is singularly responsible for the fetishism I've had to endure. I'm trying not to give too much away but I swear to Goddess I will open-hand slap the next guy to say "You're just like Robin Scherbatsky!" No I am not. Omg WHY is this so common? Tell me about it!! It had happened to me so frequently, I got fed up and that's why I held the going out of business sale. I even had given him an exit if he wanted it. We had an upcoming weekend getaway planned and I got reservations at fanciest restaurants, I would order the most expensive thing just to complain about it, I'd book us the most expensive day-trips, order room service, etc. I called it my "going out of business sale"

always have 3 or more active, interpersonal connections in your life I love this framework for it! I don't do OLD, I don't pursue men, and I have high standards. With those parameters, there's virtually no way I'll end up with 3 guys to date at the same time (and in the pandemic? forget it!). I don't really have an attachment problem and have fully run out of fucks to give about dating. But when when I do date, I want to make sure I'm actively guarding against slipping into the "future think/pot…

Haha sometimes I feel a bit more WGTOW too because I don't do OLD and I don't date inside my industry. I work in a small, male dominated, insular industry and rejecting the wrong guy could cost me opportunities and future jobs. It's a "it's who you know" kind of career and rumors can ruin you. Not to mention the problems with (especially earlier) IUDs. My doctor neglected to tell me about ovarian cysts as a side effect and eventually I passed out in a work meeting from the pain, thinking it was just some kind of really intense period cramp. Amen! So happy I'm childfree too. I'm constantly disgusted to see how devalued our own lives are in society for the mere potential another life. I had a LTR with an only-child who's mother had a very intense desire for us to have a large family. Not your job to fix him for someone else, sis. It's causing you distress which is the sign of a LVM even if you're not dating him. I allowed that to happen and hate myself for it. You stop that right now, Queen! You have to forgive your past self. She did the best she could with what she new at the time. Finding FDS makes me feel this way sometimes too and I try to remember to always keep looking forward and to keep doing better. If you can pull a NVM up like that and drag him into doing better, you can sure as hell do it for yourself! You already leveled up one person who didn't even want or appreciate you. This time it's …

Not even sure if I want a family atm, so I’m always finding cosy men who want to settle down with a white picket fence and imagine me as their wifey, when I want a bearded best friend and slightly introverted man (I tend to extraversion a bit) to travel the world with that complements my quirks and makes me laugh. With the exception that I'm 100% childfree, this is nearly identically my issue. And I live in a big liberal city with wokebros! I've dated men who claimed to be CF, only to turn aroun…

So glad to hear you ditched that LVM and leveled up! I'm the same age and the reason I know I'm better off single than in a bad relationship, because I've already been there. I've never been married, but I've had LTRs with neglectful LVM and abusive scrotes. I guess my point is that though I am 100% comfortable being single forever and have no internal pressure to be in a relationship-for-relationships-sake, society still heavily discriminates against single people and the external pressure stil…

I wasn't born "back then" but I still feel the conditioning sometimes. When I was around 12 years old, I would love upsetting adults around me by loudly saying "I'll never have kids!" and "I'll never get married, I'll be successful myself instead!" (Cue every "you'll change your mind" speech) I am still childfree and I have been successful in attaining financial independence and success in my field. But over the years it's been hard to deny that married people are privileged in our society, not …

The truth. He knows, somewhere inside, that he can put in more effort. But instead he looks for shortcuts, simply because he can. I think back to all the dudes I knew in college who would joke "Well, if X doesn't work out for me, I'll just marry a sugar mama/successful woman/rich woman." I'd silently chuckle to myself (because to do so out loud would be dangerous) and think "Sure buddy, good luck!"

but honestly, it’s no one’s job to be any one else’s research assistant You're right girl! You are not required to give anyone an explanation, not even me! Lol! I respect that healthy boundary. It's a personal choice I made to care less about celebrities. For my mental health, I stay away from celeb news as much as I can. It's not surprising that I had outdated information and I'm always happy to be updated! It's just easier if that information comes to me. I don't know any Swifties irl, but hap…

That's awesome! Thank you for responding. I'm really super glad to hear she's doing much better! It does sound like she was being dragged down behind the scenes by a bunch of LVM producers and PR team. Glad to hear our sis got out and I'm super happy to change my mind on her. I'll definitely check out the song you recommended!

I got pregnant again only 1 month after no longer breastfeeding Omg I'm so sorry he did that to you. Thank you for sharing because I had not considered I'd need to ask for the doc note. I've demanded to see STD checks before as well. The thing is, I'm pretty good at photoshop and could easily edit one myself if needed. So even then, I only trust those so far. But thank you for the reminder of why we need the strategy. Getting a note is not even enough, it needs to be in concert with a long histo…

I didn't say you did anything wrong. I don't want to fight my sisters in the comments!! If the commenter above loves the song and feels empowered, great! If the song is confusing to her because of the context that the reddit algorithm gave her the posts, I was trying to help. I found the "Dont show him you're mad" post to be enlightening and eyeopening. It is something I had not considered and it resonated with me. That's all! I'm a little disappointed that you didn't offer even one example. I'm certainly not going to waste my time reading up on the last 5 years of Tswift's life. I have my own leveling up to do. Without additional information, I maintain my original position. If she does something noteworthy, I'm sure it'll break through my news feed

Yeah, I'm not about TSwift's image/brand/music either. OP's comments go the other way too. If hiding your anger feels like the better strategy for you and resonates with you, do that! Make it work for you, sis!

Not only that, but its fake as ffuuuuuuuu I was with a friend as she was getting a tattoo. We step inside the shop and the most hardcore head-to-toe neck-tattoo guy what getting smiley faces on his fingertips and throwing hard up into the garbage can the whole time. It's one of the most sensitive parts of your body with soooooo many nerve endings. No way this little baby scrub actually got something like that done and smiled like that at the end.

Unless she's massively changed since I stopped paying attention to her, T Swift is a pickme in my opinion. I haven't kept up with her since the whole "beef with katy perry" thing because I don't pay attention to women who tear other women down. Is there something she's done or said recently that I'm missing (besides sing more dumb songs about scrotes she knows?) Edit: I'm getting downloaded into oblivion, but I do actually want to know what I'm missing about her. I know Swifties are diehard on t…

Truly. So many of them think they are slick like "I'll fade out slow, I'll make her chase" and then he fades off into the distance as I continue on my personal journey to happiness. Nothing brings me more joy then when the trash takes itself out

I gave up on it at the end. I had my suspicions when I had to wait 3 episodes to finally have a singular female-driven plot line, and then it was just the most "men writing women" thing I had ever seen. She gets her period in white shorts on a school trip? C'mon, be original. The guys get a "hormone monster". But when we finally have a female story, she gets a "hormone monstress". What the FUCK is a monstress? Monster isn't a gendered word ffs. But then I figured, okay, well, puberty is differen…

Truly truly truly. I used the hang out with a group of guys where I was the only woman. They'd always "give me advice" that is so clearly not in my best interest. "Guys love it when women chase them!" yes they do, but what is unsaid is that they don't love the women who do it.

willing to settle for dating for whoever in the meantime. This is exactly it. Every LVM will tell you he wants a relationship with a HVW. And why wouldn't he?! But they don't want to do the work that a relationship with a HVW takes. So they find someone who is "good enough"; a Pickmeisha-for-now and just let her do all the work in the relationship while giving only enough to keep her around (breadcrumbing). Poor Pickmeisha thinks she's headed for marriage because any or all of the following: The…

Did we date the same man? Hahaha I swear I say this to myself every time I read a story here. But yes, he now must come presnipped. None of this just believing them at their word, no more believing them when they say "I've been thinking of getting snipped". Snip it, or forget it, bub.

Just gonna repeat everyone else here: don't pursue a guy. I can't tell you how many guys have told me how much guys love being asked out by women. I've tried it 5 separate times, and it has literally never worked. I either got ghosted, soft rejected, and once he even said "well I was going to ask you out but because you asked me I'm not interested." A guy who just likes the chase will disappear. A guy who just wanted to use you will take the opportunity and then some. There's no winning, don't d…

Impact > Intentions! If he cared about you, he'd care about the impact of his actions instead of justifying intent.

Exactly. I prioritize impact over intent. Even if he didn't mean it, you were still hurt. The drunk driver still goes to jail because he murdered someone even though he didn't "mean it"

However in the context of the world today, the woman posting a closeup of her ass is not "rebelling" or being an individual, she is doing it because it's what men want to see to jerk off to before moving on to the next one. Omg this! It's like how only the most ardent feminists burnt their bras back then. These days every scrote is more than happy to tell you, with a shiteating grin, just how much he loves when women don't wear a bra.

I feel the same way. I look back at my Pickmeisha days and cringe so hard. I'm trying to be kind to my past self and remember that it's not our fault that we were raised to be so incredibly accommodating that we second guess every gut feeling we have around men who mean us harm

Scrote logic: Women can get dick any time, so any woman who has sex is a w***e, so women should be celibate, and the only reason a woman would want to be celibate is because she can't get dick, so by being voluntarily celibate she is therefore an incel. I really can't with them anymore

There's so much about parenthood and pregnancy that's not to like. I'm childfree too! I dated a guy for over 2 years thinking we were both childfree, as we had discussed in the beginning. One day he turns to me and out of no where, totally unprompted, says that he thinks he might want children one day. When I made it clear I wouldn't change my stance, he followed up with "I don't know if I ever loved you". My dumbass stuck around for 8 more months until I caught him cheating. Never again.
