Gentlemen… my ex was pretty hot when we met. Big tits, sassy attitude. My current is different hot - big booty, kind… My ex’s sassy attitude turned bitchy real quick. Always yelling - at the kids, at me.. always accusing me of cheating… woman made me drink!! My current: still kind, a good mother to our combined kids and our newborn. Kicker: she likes women, I like women, we like other women together. Her kindness and loving attitude carries through to the bedroom. This isn’t just a chauvinistic …

This is a reminder to me to back off of my step son. He’s a good kid overall, just needs to get used to doing chores and understanding that I’m not out to get him although I am the man of the house. Ultimately, this is an affirmation post. He’s a good kid and I’m doing my best.

Love is the deal - but my money is mine and hers is hers Helping my current gf/partner with her own property investments that I will have zero ownership on. Any significant input (ie permitting, construction, etc) that I put in will be taken as if I’m an outside consultant/contractor.. but it’s her investment and her money - she calls the shots and gets the rewards. Similarly for mine.

Open relationships / polyamory for me.. all major purchases (property) are mine alone. A lawyer drawn agreement about the financial separation of church and state if a baby happens (again property)

Headline grabbed me but feeling something a little different here. Stepson w current gf won’t do his damn chores.. either ignores that they need to be done or when I press him on it, mopes around and then literally cries to his mom about. The fucking kid is 13. Had another argument w her about it tonight. Gathering a serious resentment towards the whole situation. Being a step dad totally sucks. Esp when your partner is easily manipulated by their kid.

Exactly. Gentlemen, just fuck and stay free. Enjoy them for who they are to you now and don’t degrade them (unless they’re into that kinda stuff). They’re as lost and looking for love just like we are. So go get you one .. or three .. and love them all. Just stay free

Nah.. well, that hasn’t been my experience. I kinda like those kind of hippie chicks - they can be a lot of fun. But if they really can’t get their feet on the ground, I get bored E: so I see what you’re saying

I’ve never had an issue w these kinds of women - just realize where they’re coming from and what they want… a nice charge in the chakra… Jokes aside, they have their own path in life as we each have ours. I’m not gonna shit on them cause it may not be the direction I choose to go

That’s tough, man. And those are some crazy tough lessons to learn - that power in a relationship is a thing. And that it directly relates to your mental health. But also that her mental health also has a lot to do with yours. Sounds like you made the right choice for you. And that’s the point - it was your choice. Sometimes I wanna tell some of these guys - just tell her to shut the fuck up when she’s pissing you off. Throw your own damn fit. Whatever, just take hold of your part. And hopefully…

OP, it happens so often to so many of us. I’m actually the opposite. I’d much prefer to be in a non confrontational relationship but I noticed very early on that she would try to bully me. And in front of my son by a previous marriage. I remember early on her yelling at me over dinner two nights in a row for nothing. I didn’t let her slide the second time. Sadly our verbal disagreements happen quite often and I have to keep a logical mind but I also remember her general MO - she’ll run over me i…
