They are told on first date my expectations, and that I have my life, they have their life, and then couple of times a weeks, we can get together. I work for a pretty big International German firm, and it is widely accepted now to use first names. Even all the Germans do. But you should not be discriminated if you are happier with the Surname that is just wrong.
