Yeah thank you for getting the gist. I wish I was better at summarizing what I’m trying to convey because in no way was it my intention to sound full of myself or brag.

Can you please try to address the actual ideas in a post or this comment? And why you want to leave I genuinely want to understand and learn the thought process

Are they self aware you think? I’m in the U.S now and I’ve been noticing it that’s why I’m confused at what’s going on because nobody in my family functions in this way.

He gave real strategies? I actually have a question about this too because I tried to ask chat gpt and got no good answer… he coerced them into sex? Pimped them out? Held them hostage? Sex trafficked in what way?

That’s so wild to me. I’m European so I feel like this is just insane concepts to me and I feel like they’re moreso just a thing in America and since moving here I’ve been shocked by it. Like I’ve never heard any of these things from anyone in my family and I feel like it would be ridiculous for anyone in my family to hear it too. I just can’t believe it goes back generations. Also, I’m so sorry about your dad. Not to criticize him, but what logic does this make? Why would you start dating someo…

Not at all. I didn’t know how to position this post without saying where I’m coming from but hey if that’s how you see it, def your opinion

Yeah this I know because I’ve watched one of my really good male friends fall into it because of a bad relationship where the girl was horrible to him. Is that the answer though?? You’re becoming that person, if not worse. And you end up hurting because who don’t deserve it at all as a result. Doesn’t that feel bad in the end? Is there any real remorse?

I think women just want you to be a gentleman. Be a partner. Treat us with respect. Those are the core things. Others are usually communicated

I think it depends on how you define fun. I think you can have best times at different years for different reasons. Interests just change. Best in terms of looks/career? I think best years in terms of health and overall body health are twenties. Then health declines and maybe you make more money. You can’t have everything unless you’re one of the lucky ones

I was kind of scared of that and someone did try to misinterpret what I said, but overall good.

I’ve had that thought when I watched some of the content briefly. It seems like they’re almost laughing at their fans on the inside
/r/ExRedPill19/02/26 03:47 AM

Not my intention at all. I meant something they’d measure themselves because as I write later in my post, “assumed” better is how i word it. Hence, I do not assume I am better than them. I’m saying that maybe in their book that’s what they’d think and that’s why they’re acting this way.

Opt out of situations where they might feel threatened? So instead of diving deeper into why that may be they will put someone down or opt out of them? Help me understand

Money from views or do they get you to subscribe? No. I’m honestly so far removed from the social media world. I just go to work, gym, and my hobbies. Only reason why I started even recognizing it is because I’ll go on dates with people and they’ll act weird af so I started doing my research and then a male friend told me they must be “red-pilled”. This is such a new ideology to me. I didn’t realize people are dumb enough to live by it. Excuse me if I’m offending you or anyone
/r/ExRedPill19/02/26 02:33 AM

So how do redpilled people not see that this is illogical and makes no sense? I mean it’s pointed out to them often but it’s almost a raging refusal to see it. How come?

I definitely stopped recently but the amount of uncomfortable dates I experience is making it not worth it for me. Any advice on how to be smarter about it as you say?

No offense taken. I would have to kindly disagree. I’ve met plenty of people who were deeply insecure but just quiet and down on THEMSELVES rather than their partner. Definitely weren’t abusive. You can be insecure and not have terrible intentions + want to harm others.

I feel like it’s better received from other men just honestly saying that it’s not the way to be. I feel like the peak was maybe 2022-2023. Do you think it’s reversing a bit? I’ve started to see the rise of female high value (just as bad) influencers as well so my guess is that it’s being sort of battled against a bit. I wonder if things will ever go back to normal because it seems like the majority of men live by it now.

This explains so much for me, you have no idea…… I had an ex that would constantly question why I chose him and then keep accusing me of being with other guys because he doesn’t understand what I could possibly see in him. Constant accusations. Constant put downs. I have very recently realized that some people genuinely use this ideology to date and stick to it strictly. I thought it was just some online theory that people will look at and sort of apply but never in a million years I thought tha…

The tests are so weird. Children and subservients get tested, not people hoping to be in a partnership together. If I may ask, how did you know that you passed? Were you told so? Also what’s the women and the distance test? Sounds so bizarre. I’m kind of new to actually seeing that some men take this practice into dating. I’m shocked lol. Genuinely recently discovery that people date by rules like this instead of just being genuine and I’m 28

I don’t really want to deep dive into red pill because I think that it will upset me. I get the genera idea I think, but is that being taught specifically? Like if a woman feels confident then you need to put her down or something like that? Or is this what it escalates to in the toxic side of it once these people lose the grip on some things? Please help me understand where this comes from

I unfortunately agree that even good guys can stumble into these behaviors… it runs so deep. I guess I’m one of the people that refuse to put up with it and it’s a huge dealbreaker for me when I see any man displaying any sort of behavior like this and I see through a facade pretty well, which a lot put on.. probably destined to be alone lol

The saddest part of this whole ideology is that I never took those superficial things into consideration because I liked the guys for THEM, not what they had or didn’t have. I didn’t see LACK where they see lack in themselves. I would notice moments of shame in them and I felt so bad because I only saw good things, along with negatives that I accepted them for because I loved them. Everyone has shortcomings. I didn’t realize that these people were so down on themselves. I think there are true as…

I agree. I don’t consider myself above or better than anyone but after being put down by these people numerous of times, I had to try and see what it is they may see that might trigger them and this is what I’ve come up with. I never thought these things even mattered
/r/ExRedPill18/02/26 08:43 PM

That’s so sad. I’ve literally had to make myself smaller in order to not make the interactions awkward before and it has negatively affected my own view of myself in those relationships.

Maybe but I think internalized patriarchy and misogyny are still at play here with these women. I think a person can be better than you in more ways than just financial or looks-wise, which is what I assume you’re talking about. These are very superficial metrics. To me, a partnership is adding to each other in a relationship. He’s going to be better than me in some aspects. I’m going to be better than him in others. What matters is that we meet in the middle and bring those positive attributes …

It’s more cringe to think the way OP is because it shows a weak mind (sorry OP) than to just do what you want for yourself

Think of it kind of like someone using sales techniques while on a date. It just feels in-genuine and like something’s off. Conversation doesn’t flow. Feels kinda transactional rather than mutual. Sort of hard to describe if you haven’t been on the receiving end of it, I guess. I’m 28 but I do notice that when I date older guys, I don’t really come across that as often. More so people my age or younger. Clearly social media is a big reason to blame for this behavior.
/r/ExRedPill16/02/26 06:20 AM
14

It feels scripted and like I’m watching a presentation, not having a conversation. It also feels dehumanizing. The realization of “this guy is running tactics instead of being himself” is dehumanizing and insulting. Like being interviewed by someone who’s trying to win instead of connect.
/r/ExRedPill16/02/26 06:07 AM

I think you’re overanalyzing yourself. I think that’s where a lot of the harm in red pill lies. Relationships are meant to be lived and experienced by being in the present. Focus on the connection instead of assigning gender role ridden philosophies that are based on trying to shame you into acting in a specific way. As a woman, I find it incredibly cringe when I go on a date with a guy and can tell he’s performing instead of trying to genuinely connect with another human. Women are just humans …

I don’t get why he’s seeking to derive happiness from another person rather than himself. If other person was so ‘fun and light’ then why didn’t they keep seeing each other? To me it seems like the problem is him and not you. He sounds mentally unhealthy. No normal person is bothered by someone’s peaceful actions (sitting on the phone and reading a book on the couch) to the point that it brings down their mood. That’s just weird

Why don’t you bring this up head on? Maybe she’s feeling in the same boat. Imo, she wouldn’t answer at all if she was not interested. Take this from a female who actually feels like she was going through a similar situation with a guy who had some insecurities

I was with someone like this too. It’s funny how they said they treated us badly because they were afraid we’d leave them but then got left because of how they treated us. Just so strange and it obviously completely backfires

Maybe but then it was probably already a thin line from the beginning. Meaning, OP needs to adjust how he acts around these women or very attractive women like her in general from the start. Maybe he would’ve gotten her back to his place another night, but it would be a very slim chance she would do anything if she was already not that interested

Woman here. First of all, your goal in life should never be to get women. You should be working on yourself as an individual so that you can feel good about yourself and grow. The women COME AS A BONUS to you feeling like a total boss. Then you can be CHOOOSY. Appearance: This is what people see first. Take care of your body. I mean this. Go to the gym, invest in a good wardrobe, get a skin care routine, get regular haircuts, learn good body language (practice in front of mirror) Mind: Be educat…

That’s a bunch of scorned women hating on men and having skewed perceptions + looking at faults in everything. Imo than sub is equivalent of female incels
