FDS actually does have an opinion on prenups if you read their handbook. They are very pro prenup which just goes along with the argument that women in FDS are looking to extract everything they can from a relationship.

Yes but vassalize is to make someone a servant to you. I don’t know about you but I’d rather have my SO be an equal to me rather than a subordinate.

I personally just dislike this part of FDS because it seems very contradictory to your whole “female empowerment” thing. I’ve read the FDS handbook and it’s just strange that you guys expect men to pay for all dates and at least half of all other bills but then turn around and say you shouldn’t be reliant on men. I don’t think all of FDS is terrible but this is one of the things that prevents me from getting on board with it.

You can. Some of that $100 is being set aside to get invested and saved in separate, individual accounts. Not to be rude but it seems like you didn’t read the guy’s original post at all.

He doesn’t say anything about splitting the rent or other bills 50/50 though. He wants to pool both their incomes together and have an equal amount to spend on things for themselves and the rest will go towards bills and other joint things. So by doing things the way he’s doing it if I make $25k and you make $100k we will each have $25k a year to spend on whatever we want and then the other $100k will go towards bills and investments, etc. So basically I will still have my entire income to spend…

I agree I think this is a pretty good arrangement. However I do agree with some others on here that you should help your girlfriend become more financially literate first just so that she can completely understand what she’s walking into.

I wouldn’t say that sleeping with multiple people automatically makes you a sex addict though

Apples and oranges aren’t the same species though. Men and women are.

Slut vs stud sounds like a big double standard

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
