Just read regularly, find your own preferences and go from there. The key to reading is comprehension. Don't sound every word in your head, I only sound the words which help me understand. In the last sentence, I'd probably only read about 3 words but I'd have perfect understanding of the meaning. That's what it's all about. Lastly, don't re-read sentences that you didn't quite get. Just re-focus and start concentrating from then on. The ultimate goal is to increase your comprehension rate. When…

If you read a news article, they don't just give you the headlines and soundbites. You get background story, how the journalist met the interviewee (if it's an interview), what his observations was of the hotel they stayed in, their background, the history between them, all this in a ten minute article. You watch a news segment, you may see the interview with little else. And if they make it on par with a written article, it would be thirty minutes at least. Why I say reading is faster, is that …

If you have the money, parental guidance, shelter, etc. to provide for that. That's where the extra £1,380 comes in for the rest of your life. You still have the option for a private education just as you prefer. However, I do not have the option not to also pay for socialised education. In your eutpian world, you provide no base education. Let me ask you a question. Would you able to educate yourself to GSCE level by working through textbooks and asking people that know to help you? It's not ha…

The Fed, just like the bank of England will always be announcing interest raises around the corner. And when it does, will it ever go back to 5% again? That's a long way away. Exactly. And if the goverment were to come in and spend (simply print) too much money, it would cause hyperinflation. That is a basic economic fact. There is no way around it. Yes there is, you simply don't print off all the money. It would also be important to let competing currencies into the zone. This way, if England g…

Wait....what? You are completely against taxes in general? Am I reading this correctly? You seriously think you can operate and fund an entire country just by taxing booze and cigarettes (etc)? The county orchestrates the making and importing of fresh food to everyone in the UK without the help of government. In fact, they get in their way by charging them at every opportunity. You do realize property taxes pay for our children's education? How would a city with a $500million budget (pg. 5) rais…

They effectively printed more when they decimated the interest rates from 5% to 0.5%. That's not even to mention the money created through quantitative easing. I'm not saying hyperinflation will or won't happen. I'm not saying they should authorise every program they can think of, quite the opposite. However, inflation and deflation will be the benchmark of if you're spending too much or too little. It will only hyperinflate if some guy comes in and wants to spend ridiculous amounts of money, yo…

Then what is the point of money if we can "simply print" a gajillion dollars? We already are doing that. Everytime you take a loan from the bank, that money is only partially here, in fact, only an eighth of what you borrowed at the bank is actually non printed money.[1] Then how would you suggest paying for roads, sewage, goverment employees that issue licenses/certificates or even your local town's utility bill? I'm not even for this, but if you were to tax the people, you should use taxes tak…

It's straight up bullshit. If you're going to tax anything, tax alcohol, cannabis and things which are detrimental to society. Hell, if we want the country completely fair, abolish all taxes and simply print the money and give to governmental programs, this way it's impossible to dodge taxes and everyone pays exactly the same amount (in inflation). All you've got to worry about then is how much we are printing and you can see that through economical markers such as inflation and interest rates.

What I don't understand is why do women get so much credit for being empathic? They unknowingly treat people like absolute shit but then feigns compassion when it's to her advantage. This is manipulation, not empathy. Whereas many guys understand to treat people fairly but don't break down in tears when Michael Jackson dies.

It may help to know the reason why these people are special despite what may seem to you like many of his friends being deeply flawed, they will likely take a bullet for your SO. So while you may think it would be better to mingle with that couple you deem of higher status, these types of friendships are only superficial in comparison. Probably they are just more "rebel" in regards to social conventions, hence less sexually restrained. It may have something to do with my area but I find them rank and file status quo. I'm sure there's a better word for this but any female with a tattoo reduces her to a basic bitch. The exception would be an extremely well thought out tattoo which is either unique or part of their culture (such as Japanese women). I do find females/homosexuals opinions on TRP quite interesting. However, you may find some of the responses somewhat jaded because there have been plenty of these in the past and you rang quite a few cliches there. I'm glad your helping your boyfriend, the truth is that women can be one of the most powerful driving forces behind successful men but unfortunately too often they hold them back. The thing is, I am pursuing a career where it would be extremely helpful to have someone like a wife that could help me out if we shared the same ambition. Your missing rule number 1. Don't talk about the red pill. You may think your helping people but actually your making them consider the opposite point of view. The mind naturally does this when new information is presented. This is why TRP gets more popular when people try so hard to demonize it. The best way to spread it is to live it yourself and prosper.
/r/RedPillWomen04/02/15 02:30 PM

The thing is, this is about stopping people getting into gamergate by equating them to TRPs bad reputation. It's not actually got anything to do with TRP. They just know that it's a bit of a cliche to compare people to Nazis now. It's still the same fallacy, the chewbacca defence.

What's most ridiculous is that gay people have been persecuted far worse than women throughout history. So feminists helped gay men get equal standing in society, that's cool. But women already have equal standing so it's not like gay men are going to now fight along side women to give them special privileges. That's not what they signed up for.

What is it specifically are you having trouble with? When you say that your friends "capture everyones attention with the charisma" that doesn't indicate confidence. There are often people that mistake confidence for attention seeking but I can see by the way they fight their smile, the tone of their voice and defensive conversations that they are not confident people. People come to me when they need help (despite me being the most unqualified to help). Remember how annoying attention seeking w…

People voted you down? Difficulty in games has a lot to do with beta-testing. When games first came about, people didn't test them much, they were ridiculously hard so they introduced cheats. Cheat codes also had the effect of selling magazines (which gave you the codes) as there was also no internet at that time. Now in decent games, they are well tested and have varying difficulty. Most of the stuff people talk about bores me This is a real problem. You have to make them feel interesting. A lot of people think of it as a kind of dominance game, if you find someone interesting then your submitting to their dominance. It doesn't work like that. The excuse of gender oppression is completely delusional. If you look at the world of ultramarathon running (100+ miles), you'll see that women are very much on par with men. Their is no gendered races like there is in traditional marathons or tour de france. They compete against each other (and sometimes build great rivalries). Now in the field of ultramarathon running, women are much more on parity with men in terms of participation. You see, there's no one holding women back in the world of u…

Because they'd prefer to complain about not being enough web developers than actually become a web developer. The actual jobs feminists want are all the high powered ones. I'd be completely fine if they were using feminism to become electrical engineers, garbage desposal or fishermen but they don't care about disparity between the very tough jobs (leave them to the men) but when it comes to being a CEO of an organisation or a Politician, they will cry about it being not fair.

Its simple business etiquette, if you have a deal with someone you follow through with it even if it makes a loss. You don't add stipulations afterwards. Most men would turn into annoying cunts too if they got that kind of treatment from society. This happens to a lot of big names: Michael Jackson, Justin Bieber, Charlie Sheen, Mel Gibson, Prince, Oscar Pistorius, Luis Suarez then if you go back in history you've got Caligula, Nero, Vlad Dracula, Mao Tse-Tung etc. Yes men drive people insane, they give the person no bearing or reference. White Knights are watered down yes-men however, much more prevalant.

People that are doing this have a ridiculous moral code they are trying to enforce on women for simply abiding by their biological urge. Good question. Much of it is in communication. Personally every woman I'm with has a chance for a LTR but they always mess up. I'm not saying the one your with is open to a LTR, you should figure that one out (without asking) and be honest with yourself if he's not. That could be an important part of trp but I've not seen it discussed very much. As a man, it's rare that you can open up to someone. Maybe the best person would be a psychiatrist as it's confidential and doesn't affect you. Maybe it's your best friend/s. lol! Seriously though, I don't know why your voted down. It makes sense if your shorter to buy shoes that will compliment your height. Women buy freaking heels which make them 6 inches taller and men don't even find tall women more attractive. Those goth boots look pretty shitty though. You can get really nice looking boots which complement your height that doesn't also highlight an insecurity. Just 1/2 of an inch makes you look a lot taller.
/r/TheRedPill20/07/14 02:24 PM

They have absolutely no idea, nor do men. I'm always told I'm 6'2'' or 6'1'' but in actuality, I am 5'11''. This is because many people that are 5'8'' are always lying about being 5'11'' and to make their bs congruent, it means I have to now be 6'2''. Most guys accept this because it's a positive lie but I like my height so I tell them they are full of shit. Women are even worse at guessing heights, probably because most males they talk to round up their height a few extra inches.

Sure, a doctor is worse for sleeping with his patients than a teacher. Still, doesn't let the teacher off. I wish you had said it in my presence. for context, my great aunt adopted a child with downs, after she died, he moved to vietnam and married a vietnamese chick, when he died, it turned out he made sure to not give these gold diggers a penny. How many 'non-retards' are that smart?

His article was also very misogynistic. He makes out that all women are paranoid schizophrenics that need pandering to and not treated like adults. He probably doesn't realise that if he does his best not to creep women out, they will pick up on this and deduce that if he's trying so hard not to be a creep, he probably is one. And they'd probably be right.

Be the passenger. I must say that guiding conversation may not be the best analogy. If the other person is also be trying to guide the conversation and that's when things pull apart and then there's the dreaded silence. Just go wherever the person wants to go or even predict where the persons going and be in wait for them with whit. If it's getting too dark or uncomfortable you have to maintain frame or make your excuses and cut it off. Mostly it's just mundane shit, somewhat funny but not of gr…

I've been practicing for quite a while and my major flaw was putting too much emphasis on subject matter which is of absolutely no importance, neither is whit. What's of critical importance is attention. Be somewhat detached like James Dean while listening but listen hard. Demonstrate the ability to interpret what they are saying and speak back to them on their level. When you learn to do this well, you almost become a vacuum for people to speak to. Let's put it this way. Everyone believes that …

What I find interesting is that general politeness is much more common between males because we know the other guy is simply just being polite and he knows we aren't going to think he's only being polite to get laid. This tells me that men simply gave up on chivalry because they found that they were attacked for being good respectable people.

The aggressor clearly showed his lack of confidence by skipping the conversational aspect. When I've been wronged and I had to confront a person about it, I always try to talk it over with them first and I've found this to be much more intimidating than an overt display of aggression. Really I think the guy could have said anything, saying "You could kick my ass" was probably the most chumpish thing. The best thing would be to ascertain what makes him want to go outside, who is making him and if…

Perhaps what you could do is message him saying that you did the right thing by ending it but you really hope he doesn't fall into these bad habits again because of it. I've known people who've had this kind of shit happen to them and it fucks them up for life. I think it may be your friends sense of humour. Though, I didn't get into fist fights where blood was shed, I had a weird sense of humour where I'd pretend to like the teletubbies, I'd come into school late and say I was watching it (it started about 8:30am). I never let people know that it was just a joke but several others got into it (I expect because they were joking too) and then more people did. What's funny is that marilyn monroe quote comes from an iconically beautiful woman, a 10 in her time. Most people repeating this are a 6. Not to mention that her list of problems isn't really that bad. If she said "I'm a psychotic, borderline, schitzo but if you can't handle me..." then it would not be the same.

Much worse than fat shaming is thin shaming. Women and even men do this all the time, if a lady loses weight they start bitching about them having an eating disorder. You know what's the most common eating disorder? Overeating.

There's a lot of black people on here so I'm sure they know way more about it than I do. However, you need to assess why your being branded as Carlton, isolate the mannerisms and work on replacing them with better ones. Also study real portrayals of men in film. American films are pretty shit for this, they just have guys with big muscles blowing people away. Although Limits of Control is quite good. A lot of it is not the message but the delivery. I was just talking to someone about the 48 laws and how much of it could be turned around to sound altruistic and moral. You never know who will be your ally or enemy. This is why I keep civil with people, it doesn't make your more alpha to call someone a land whale, there's zero incentive on my part and it's just basic politeness.

You are the master of your own life. I've me plenty of people that get into positions of power with brownnose seduction methods, they are extremely weak people and are envious of those who are natural and happy despite their lack of power. The 48 laws goes by an unnatural hierarchy. Would you trade your life for Henry Kissingers? Much of what the 48 laws is good stuff, however it's phrased in weird orwellian language. For instance law 1 "Never outshine the master" could equally be phrased as "Have some modesty or humility in your actions." Law 21 - Seem dumber than your mark. Could easily be phrased as no pretensions. The framing of the 48 laws assumes that you aren't the master. You are the master, if you never get that down, you will never be one. Even though you could make good with most of the advice in there, the im…

I did go through a cleansing period too. I'm more of the opinion now that I should reach out to anyone. The only stipulation is that I'll never forget my principals. They will be flawed in many ways but can potentially be good friends, everyone is really in the same boat and they were once probably good people but then traded their dignity for superficial relationships. If you can demonstrate that you aren't superficial, they will try to prove themselves to you that they are aren't.

Drama queens and people desperate for attention I treat as entertainment. They usually don't annoy me, they also give me the space to detach myself from the antics and look at least less foolish than they. Another thing, even though these people were gossiping behind others backs in a negative way, I am pretty confident they weren't doing that about me. The way to deal with that guy who race baits is to simply give no validation. If he directs it towards you then you may have to laugh it off but…

"you're better off confronting a potential friend on a 1 on 1 basis about something rather than the group." This is a very important point you raised. This is something which I neglected in the past. When I started doing this, I realised that it massively helps your friendship. For instance, one of my friends kept getting into arguments with other people because they weren't seeing him enough. Really, it's about managing it. One of my best friends half black and has very little facial hair. However, he simply shaves his whole face and leaves a very slight mustache and it looks pretty badass. Like another poster said, make it look deliberate. If my friend tried to grow a full beard, it would look very messy. However, he knew his limitations and worked with what he's got. If your planning on getting into office, I think you should know how it works. Firstly, if you choose a mainstream party, they would like you to be compromised because it makes you easier to control. A good example of this is Ted Kennedy's Chappaquiddick incident. You probably didn't follow politics through his career but it was so predictable that whenever he tried to do something 'good', the media would start running articles on it again until he shut up. It was unfortunate as I really believe…

No doubt everyone brags, it's just a part of life. You want others to hear about your successes. I'm a sick bragger, I even brag about bragging. What is it with feminism that makes them think it's somehow a positive trait to brag about themselves so openly? You ever hear men bragging about them being a successful, strong male, that isn't where he is because he's highly attractive to the opposite sex, it's because he's highly intelligent...You'd think brags like that would be some kind of Freudian admittance of inadequa…

In addition to /u/TRPsubmitter's post. Another reason why girls some girls can't make friends with other girls is because they've blown many bridges when it comes to friendship. It's easy to make acquaintances but you need more shunned qualities like loyalty, forgiveness and detachment to create long lasting bonds with people. Today these qualities are assumed as weak but are really essential for everyday sanity. Another thing to watch out for is a person who seems very popular but when you delv…
