This is true, but it was easier to trick men to go along with it through propaganda pushing patriotism and lies etc. Also, men had hope for the future in the past. Nowadays men are demoralised and broken in peacetime, before they even get onto the battlefield!

Men in the modern world are already demoralised and beaten down in peacetime, before they even get in a war. At least in the past, men had hope for the future to fight on. Not now. Conscription these days in just a conveyor belt of misery for men on both sides of the conflict. Meanwhile women are living the best Instagram time ever in another country, starting a new life totally forgetting about their old country. Slavery never ended for men.

I had this conversation recently with a feminist who was on about how oppressed women still are, and the TV show Handmaid's Tale is basically how women are treated in society. No way, if anything women have more freedoms then men these days. The real Handmaid's Tale story is the loss of liberty and body autonomy for men with things like conscription! Like no-one is forcing you to have children, but men are being forced to fight and die. Get with reality 😂

It is crazy that the mainstream media are basically ignoring the blatant discrimination in all these Western counties forcing men (boys) only into military service. The amount of times I've seen news articles for other (minor) discrimination cases with employers etc. These usually result in big compensation payouts, fines etc. If a celebrity says something discriminatory or sexist, they would be cancelled.

Yep, too many hoops to jump through for the modern man, compared to the easier ride women get. Men are saying fuck it, I'm not playing the game anymore. Having said that, there is also an increase of 'boss women' who held off settling down on favour of getting to the top of their career. They are struggling as well to find men that want to settle down with women in their 40s +. Basically relationships are broken due to veering too far away from the traditional family roles.

It is total gaslighting. One of the reasons given for not conscripting women is that they are needed to grow the population again through childbirth. However this is not enforced, so they could choose not to. On the other hand, conscription of men is enforced, through either prison, fines, violence or in the past, death. Then if you survive, you come back to a country that just shits on you anyway. Look at how veterans are treated in the US, the richest country in the world.

Conscription is morally wrong, and they do it under the 'ends justify the means' pretence. If that's the case, why have they made torture illegal, when they could use that to get intel out of people? You can't bend the rules when it suits you, either you are a free and fair democracy, or you are not.

Divide & conquer by the elites. Turn women and men against each other, de-power men so they don't cause a problem to the elites, and can't fight back. Say that women should enter the workplace as equals to men, but really this is to provide greater worker numbers, and therefore lower wages to the wealthy elite that own companies.

Women generally get much more lenient punishments for crime than men across the West. You know already that if/when male only conscription is bought in, and they refuse, the government will throw the book at them. Like harsh punishment, worse than actual criminals who commit real crimes would get. No mercy on leniency for men.

This is how they would play it, in paper they might say men & woman are both conscripted, but they would either rig the 'random' lottery, or instruct the drafting office to give them jobs far behind the front line. They know women are not as capable as men, and don't want the bad optics of news reports about women being captured etc. Western militaries have already manipulated their training standards to fulfill DE&I quotas, when you start putting people in life & death roles based on their dive…

Its crazy double standards. The European Court of Human Rights protects everyone (even criminals who get basically let off crimes), but there is a specific loophole they put in that says nit applicable to men for conscription. Like surely if you are a free and democratic country, that should apply all the time to everyone otherwise you are no better than the country you are fighting

It's equality vs equity. What we have in the West is equity. That is that the playing field is altered to artificially give the same outcomes, regardless of skill or ability. Actually I'd argue we are now even further past that, where DE&I artificially pushes everyone but white straight men further up the progression ladder. People will deny this, as strangely enough it is still a small proportion of white men that hold the most power.

Woman wanted equal rights, they got equal rights. Woman realises with equal rights, comes the burden of equal responsibilities. Woman doesn't like this, and blames men. Men don't generally live as long as women, yet they either het their pension the same time as women, or even later. If Diversity, Equality & Inclusion that they push so much isn't applied to everyone equally, then the system isn't worth defending or dying for. No representation, no taxation kind of thing.
