Should have provided another link. http://divorceinrussia.com/russian-divorce-statistics/ The above link (also wikipedia agrees with it) says divorce percentage is over 50 in Russia as of 2011. 1	On Russian Women Well, I disagree that the country (USSR) would 'survive just fine'. Remember, the country is just coming out of a civil war (when Stalin takes over). And most of the population is uneducated farm workers. They need to be educated and taught how to work at factories, whether they want to or not. Sounds that we agree that Communism in the Soviet Union was a Western project. -2	On Russian Women Not really. Soviet Union under Stalin won WWII and became a superpower. If everyone went into Gulag, this would not be possible. -5	On Russian Women Communism brought equality to the Soviet Union. Ironically, there was never a Democracy without Slavery. Life in the Soviet Union was pretty good (for example in the 1960s life was about the same in the USA vs Soviet Union), considering the devastation brought on by the civil war and the WWII. 26	On Russian Women OK, I'm from USSR and have been in the USA since 1991. I was born in Kiev, City, which is now Ukraine. Since I was 14 years old when I came to the States, I can't really comment on the truthfulness of the Russian shrink.
