I’m not sure I understand your point? Serial monogamy is just the normal relationship behavior. Such as getting married, maybe divorced, and then remarried. “Pump and dump” is just a one night stand (or weekend fling, or something as such).

I’m not sure I even agree with the “high value man” concept. I think it’s all nonsense. Older women in the dating pool will certainly have considerable baggage. Usually, either divorced or coming out of some kind of longer term relationship (typically). Women don’t really stay single for long (anecdotally, my neighbor is on her third husband); so, maybe it’s just the mutual relationship background providing the female to male attraction dynamic? I don’t think there is enough available data for 4…

Interesting explanation….. But, wouldn’t a divorced man be considered damaged goods in many respects? A divorced person comes with considerable baggage (like children and alimony payments). Also, the divorced man might be divorced because of poor relationship skills?
