1	Why is rape more distressing than murder and bloodshed in comics? As for the Invincible comic, that was a poorly executed and to create a shock and awe for Invincible to get raped by a woman is just for the sake of shock value. It just another plot device to maintain violence for the sake of having violence, instead of sticking with the parameters of the story. It's like it is the best Kirkman can really do is to create excessive violence to tell a story, like he did with the Walking Dead.
