This "redefinition" of that term and many others is nothing short of Orwellian Newspeak. Other terms that have had massive semantic shift, concept creep, linguistic hijacking, etc over the years: Gender/Sex Sex Discrimination Woman/Female - I'll let you figure out the new definition of this one Violence - Used to be real physical violence - now, just looking at someone wrong Safety - used to be actual physical safety, now it includes just making someone feel bad Groomer Incel Creep xPhobia (basi…

My first marriage was a complete disaster - all the shit you see here, and worse. Family courts are fucked. Mercifully, there were no children. That experience RP'd me long before the movie/meme came about. After that, I thought I was done and just dated for fun for many years never intending to get serious again. I ultimately met a non-American woman that checked all of my "RP influenced" boxes. We have now been together almost 30 years and have two adult children. She is a very good woman, and…

Seems to be similar quality level of observation stating “we can eliminate all crime by putting everyone in cryogenic sleep”. This, of course, ignores that no matter what major demographic you look at, the vast majority of that demographic are not criminals.

I put "polite" in quotes because ultimately it is more painful to hear that you seem like a really good guy but she is not interested (though she doesn't explicitly say that part). Perhaps I just prefer direct honesty instead of some form of fake sugar coating. I also believe there is an aspect that she often was interested in maintaining the illusion of some sort of "opening" just to continue to receive attention, which if she would have just directly rejected my interest she would simply no lo…

Happened way more than once. It is usually just a “polite” form of rejection. I would have rather just be told she wasn’t interested.

Not saying things haven't changed for the better, for most things. I am saying they *no longer* impact you - we have won these rights long ago. To continue to harp on them like it is some sort of current crisis is ridiculous. The idea that "women had it worse" is just crap society has piled into your brain. There are reasons why men's life expectancy is much lower in those years and still lower today - war and physically working themselves to death being the two primary reasons. In the US, for m…

Didn’t say everything that happened in the past was right - for men or women. I am saying it has nothing to do with the modern experience of society.
/r/MensRights22/08/25 01:46 AM

Women caught up and surpassed men in most areas of society decades ago. If they would stop playing victim trying to get even more benefits and entitlements all the time, and stop and look around them, they would realize they have had it better than men for at least 30 years or more (in western society).

There is only one way to "be a man" - do what you want to live your best life and ignore other people's opinions on how "manly" you are. Every comment others have about your "manliness" is nothing but a thinly veiled shit test. It should slide off you like you are coated with teflon.

It means that anyone who was an adult when it happened is either no longer alive, or soon won't be. The point is, it doesn't really impact modern society and doesn't represent the current experience of anyone in a western society. Now, if you believe that we should be implementing policies, or giving preference or privileges to some specific demographic because of something that happened so long ago that almost no one alive was an adult at that time - I don't know what to tell you... I think that when folks are saying "men are the better inventors" - by extension, they are loosely implying men are the better "creators and builders" of the physical world around us. This is also objectively true. Innovation is just the "pinnacle" of creating/building. I don't think this means men have the overall "superior intellect" - not even sure how you would measure such a thing. But it is undeniable that men have overwhelmingly dominated the innovation, creation, building, and maintenanc…

Because they believe they were previously oppressed in such a way as to prevent them from creating said inventions. If they had just been given the freedom back then, then they would have surely done it! Nothing more than envy. Anyone with a clue recognizes that most inventions are obvious after the fact. The real challenge is having the creativity and determination to come up with a novel idea to begin with. The vast majority of people, men and women, are incapable of this level of creativity. …

I actually don’t think it is any more complicated than they have little to gain, but a lot to lose, by speaking up. Men can be quite satisfied with life just being on their own, living as a minimalist, doing their own thing and hanging with friends. So, why fight? What is there to fight for? Western women??? LMFAO!! Just check out of society and be happy.

Personally, I think the core principles of the rpill are exactly this - as a man, you are enough. The only time you should attempt to bring a women into your life permanently is when you have thoroughly vetted her character and behaviors over many years and found that she has "passed" - because that is the way she actually is and always has been. Even then, I wouldn't marry unless I was ready for children. Never buy into "what is in the past doesn't matter" - there couldn't be anything further f…

Yep - Typically, the hotter she is, the more you are willing to overlook her obvious shortcomings in being "long-term partner material". My above-referenced list saved my ass a number of times. I recall one girl who was an absolute smokeshow - practically chased me. Caught me in the elevator one day and just wrapped her arms around me and kissed me. My "dick" 'was like "Fuck yeah!!!!". You must be willing to immediately call them on their bullshit, and be willing to walk at any time. Make sure any relationship before marriage is long and gives you time to see through any bullshit and gives her time to let her mask drop.

Because men are absolute shite at vetting women for the qualities that make them good long-term partners. Men tend to think with their dick versus rationally - women know this, and use it to their advantage. I figured this out earlier in my life and then decided to use "hard filtering criteria" to "weed out the undesirables". By having a hard list of requirements, my dick wouldn't get me in trouble. I wrote down that list here. Choose wisely.

I punched her hard right in her face. She didn’t realize that despite her outweighing me by a factor of 2, I probably had twice her strength. I agree that men are just naturally driven to "serve women" - but, I think "Ty's" point is that women and society understand this, strongly reinforce and encourage this, and then exploit the hyped-up result to use and manipulate men to get what they want.

If I think of what I have observed in my life over the decades - and I have traveled and stayed in many countries (not the Philippines however) - I would characterize the support of men to have reached an absolute bottom in the 2010s - just a complete fucking dumpster fire for men. Whether it improves in this decade and beyond, I hope to live long enough to see. I have a son in his 20s. I hope he sees better. For you, it seems you may be in your 20s or early 30s. In my nearly six decades of experience, personally, and witnessing large numbers of male friends/family/coworkers/acquaintances, when it turns ugly and the “chips are down”, neither society, nor family, nor the legal system has the man’s back. At best, if you are lucky, you have a few strong male friends that got you covered.

Clearly, maturity and life experience on both sides are super critical to a successful marriage. This doesn’t exist for either party in their 20s usually. Also, their history of how they have lived their life to date is of great importance. Someone who has a consistent history of poor life decisions is generally not going to make a life partner.
/r/MenSupportMen20/08/21 02:14 PM
5

You are correct as for the reason I am suggesting holding off marriage until 30 - it is a maturity and experience thing. In particular, you really don’t know who you are or what the world is like. Of course, 30 is somewhat arbitrary- some people learn earlier, some never learn. I’m almost 2x that age. Every decade, I think of how stupid I was the previous decade. I can assure you, you are pretty fucking stupid in your 20s - just like I was and everyone I know was. Only life experience makes you …

You can “invest” anywhere. It need not be the stock market or high finance. Perhaps there is a local need for some goods or services that is being unmet. For example, maybe there are no local automotive techs. You could invest in a set of mechanics tools and begin repair work. Almost everything you need to know on how a car works or how to fix a particular problem is online. The “investment” you make here is in the tools and the knowledge. This is as opposed to blowing your cash on booze and hoe…

In my opinion, only one thing defines you being a man: self-determination. It’s your life, live it your way. You are no one’s bitch. You are not on this planet to “slave away” for someone or society. Find your passion and relentlessly pursue it. Become the best you can be, and fuck what anybody else thinks about you - ignore them. Cut anyone who disrespects you out of your life - permanently. Why build your own when you can usurp hard work of others by claiming "discrimination by the patriarchy" - a concept so weak that it can't be proven. Let's face it, it is easier to try to force yourself into a known successful company by any means necessary, than it is to spend years of hard effort trying creating your own new company - 9 out of 10 of which fail. If someone is not willing to have an intellectually honest conversation without calling you names, then there is absolutely no point to having the debate. No debate can be had unless both parties are willing to honesty converse and listen to each other's points in a logical manner. When one party devolves the conversation by calling you "privileged" and claiming there is "no way you could understand", then you have ceased to have any meaningful discourse, and the accusing party is doing nothing …

I suspect the reasoning is to re-enforce their gynocentric worldview and keep the beta men on the plantation. Can't have too many people taking the RedPill and GTOW, can we? As long as the vast majority of people visit those mega-subs and are bombarded with BluePill theory, the SJWs & Feminists can keep their plantation going even longer. Truth. A few years back I bought 14 acres of land with plans to build a new home. It was horribly overgrown from decades of no one ever touching it. You couldn't even walk through it without using a machete to carve a trail. I am over 50, and people I knew asked if I was going to hire a team to clean it - I could easily afford to pay someone to do it all. I just smiled, thinking of all that outdoor time with chainsaws, chippers, tractors, axes, splitters, etc ..and getting the exercise. I was go…

let's tell everyone to do STEM!. This is my favorite part! As if anyone is capable of taking this on. Various people have inherent skill sets. You can't make everyone a good actor, a good pianist, a good brain surgeon, a good carpenter, etc... But, somehow, anyone can be good at STEM if they just go to school and "train" for it! I have been hiring engineers and engineering leadership for over 30 years in the high-tech world. Some folks are good at this work, but many are not. And it has little t…

I agree that neither sex has a monopoly on emotionally fucking over the other - this is a human condition. Men's ultimate reaction to the last several decades of this escalating is to simply no longer play the game - they simply don't have to.
/r/MGTOW04/09/16 11:10 PM

OK - lets say I don't have kids with her, and I don't mingle finances, and I sure the fuck don't get married to her. Am I still expected to emotionally invest in her? Am I to hope she will remain loyal and faithful? Am I responsible for taking care of her? Providing for her needs? Does she already have children? Does she even have the ability to actually emotionally bond to me as a partner - or am I just the "current guy" she is with until some other guy gives her more tingles?

I love the whole "I am offended!" angle. Who gives a fuck if you are "offended". You have no right to not be offended (whatever that is) in a public place. He gave you the opportunity to "not be offended" by getting out of the car. Get over yourself.
/r/MensRights04/09/16 06:22 PM

Why would this be removed? This really ought to be any man's response when asked his name in a confrontational manner from some SJW. SJW: What. is. your. name!? You: "Hugh"
/r/MensRights04/09/16 05:54 PM

If only he would have answered "Hugh" when asked his name! This should be any man's standard response when asked their name in a SJW confrontation. We are "Hugh".

Fair enough - my point was that this "fear" is not an emotional response. I "fear" walking across a busy street with my eyes closed. So, I don't do that - I open my eyes. It is not emotion driving the decision - it is rational thought. These type of articles make it sound like men are all emotional about such a decision and they are using the term "fear" in an emotional context. I think the right term is caution. Caution - care taken to avoid danger or mistakes Fear - an unpleasant emotion cause…

Ahh grasshoppa. Being true to MGTOW way require years of disciprine. First, be true to your own dreams. Do not get distracted by the abundance of young tang being fraunted in your face. Yes, yes, partake all that you wish - but do not get emotionally committed. Improve on yourself always. Find good job with strong career prospects. Focus on improving self. Live long happy life.

All I give a fuck about is that you do what you are paid to do well. Bringing any sort of politically correct bullshit distraction to the workplace will get you a quick pink slip. I believe most companies and managers are this way from my 30years in being in the workforce. Those companies which insist on entertaining the current politically correct SJW bullshit are few and probably not long for this world.

Most US employment is "at will" - we can (and will) fire your ass for no reason, and can get away with it, as long as it can't be proven you were being fired within the context of a "protected class" (religion, race, gender, political, disability, age, etc). Note: "safe space" and "hurt feelings" are not protected classes. I can't wait for these fucking morons to enter the job market (i.e the real world).

Never want to live in Europe - spent plenty of time there. I live in the pacific northwest, only about 40min away from the peaks of the cascades range. Could hunt, fish, pick berries, etc forever. Such a beautiful place.
