The fact that someone can think someone needs to afford a $100 date is a problem in and of itself. Also, my Topgolf bill has never broken $100.

It's so wild how we gaslight short men into thinking they're single because of their personality when it's usually the height themselves.

But most of the time it is still a financial test.

I don't see how demanding a more expensive option is not a financial test.

How does this disagree with what I said?

The point is that it's a test to see if the card would decline. By demanding a sit down restaurant, it essentially tests if the man has enough to pay for it.

There are much cheaper ways of finding this out.

The date would not work if the guy does not have such balance, so it is a financial test.

I fail to disagree where we disagree on the reality of things. You yourself are saying that it is a financial test. I just think that it sucks whereas you don't.

I mean from a male perspective, eating out at any place is a test of his financial ability.

Dine in places have different pay scales, but even the cheaper ones are used as a test of financial status.

Sure but for most people the fact that it's still among the most expensive date options out there even at lower end places.

Good is very strong. Of course, there is an acceptance that it would have never worked out. But I don't think very many men see being rejected as good.

He's a prime example of how sometimes you just have to admit you're not desireable.

Sure everyone has their standards but I don't think anyone likes being rejected obviously.

The fact he can splurge at all is a sign of at least some high level financial status.

Guess we agree on the "hows" of the dating world even if I don't like it.

That's true. Even more reason why women demand eating at sit in places specifically to begin with.

That's an excellent plan. It's true that a man leads the way, and can maybe avoid eating out on the first date. However, women can obviously reject a man for having a cheaper date idea.

Right, but fine dining early on is used as a way to test if the man can afford it. As opposed to maybe dating for a month only to find out it's well out of what he can afford.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
