you should check out his wikiquote page, it is quite impressive. wiki "All great events hang by a hair. The man of ability takes advantage of everything and neglects nothing that can give him a chance of success; whilst the less able man sometimes loses everything by neglecting a single one of those chances."

Actually french and english inches were different and I believe the main theory is it was just a mistranslation. France then got the metric system which it spread so all measures were balanced.

I like TRP. I say this because I don't want to defend what the article said about TRP. However if we are talking about TRPs reputation its probably not helpful that you are making an ad hominem attack comment about an article about toxicity and that being the highest upvoted comment in the thread. Then again, who cares that it is a little harsher than normal subreddits... no bullshit!

A friend of my dad once said he would always call and pay for a taxi to drive the babysitter home instead of driving her himself. Didn't want to get in a position where he could get falsely accused.

came here for this. People claim they see through all the shit on this subreddit, yet they tell themselves having sex with 14 year olds is okay as long as its consensual.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
