I’m not an older gentleman but I was talking to a friend who had someone literally trying to sabotage their life for the fun of it. He’s lost 10k of money getting his education sabotaged and on top of emotional trauma has developed dry eyes and insomnia. He was feeling so many negative emotions that tied him down and made him want revenge for all the damage he had taken. I think those are very valid emotions and so is the desire for revenge. He made a plan to record conversations to expose his p…

I am 21 years old m. I had my second job at McDonald’s when I was 17 and I stayed for 2 years. Almost everyone that I worked with was female and my boss was sexist towards men. I was denied opportunities, mishandled, despite trying to learn and become a more valuable asset to the team. I was promised a plan to become a manager someday so despite becoming bitter and filled with spite for my job overtime I kept forcing myself to keep going because “I’m not a quitter and I want to find solutions to…

Broken family, toxic household, constant stress as a child definitely did not lay strong foundations for me as a child and it definitely put me in a bad place in high school. Luckily I met the right people and never got into drugs or alcohol. I never planned for the future and I didn’t expect myself to make it this far but I got through high school. Plenty of internal issues held me down but I spent the last 3 years sorting through them and I’m slowly accepting I have a future with lots of possi…

I want to help people reach their potential and chase their dreams. I’m going to apply to massage school to become an rmt and I hope to become a life coach or motivational speaker someday. For now I want to overcome my own obstacles that hold me back in life and be a role model to anyone that gets to know me.

I used to be heavily dependent on the approval of others but I can say I don’t care now. I just don’t know if I want to go with completely cutting them out my life for the next while or giving dating a chance. It feels strange to be secure with myself for a change.

Dating has been something I’ve never allowed myself to get to doing and now that it’s possible for me I’m wrestling with the thought of trying it or just focusing on myself which is what I’ve always been doing. I’m not going out of my way to chase after relationships since the most viable option seems to be online dating which feels like a huge waste of my time. I am questioning if I’d be willing to date even if I was given the opportunity.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
