I agree with the general sentiment here, but let’s not change the topic into transphobia, please.

I know I’ll get downvoted to death but to be honest, the first article kinda has a point. I’m a guy and like many I feel like we have been raised under the stereotype that we should be strong. My dad and granddads went to work even when sick saying it’s « nothing ». And I think this comes into play during covid because many guys I expect think it doesn’t look macho enough to wear masks. I want to be clear though that this stereotype is cultivated both by old-fashioned men and actually a big part…

Agree 100% with this analysis. Worst thing is, we can’t even speak up because we’re conditioned from childhood to act as though we don’t care and « man up ». Critical discussion is girly and gay apparently!

Because these media are run by women. No male representation in staff and in content that leads to the media being out of touch with reality. You can cancel males in your staff, but in the real world we are almost 50% of the population.

Because fellow men are not standing up because muh pussy tho. If we could support one another we could make things change.

What’s nutrition got to do with it all? This is the kind of comment that makes feminazis actually make a point about some men.

I ask myself the same question, as they’re not the same thing at all.

I guess it’s not a question or whether it’s good or bad but a question of having the choice to do what you want with your body. Besides, circumsion is for diminishing your masturbation pleasure while lasting longer and therefore increase female pleasure. It’s not a sanitary measure at all. Most men outside the US are not circumsized and are completely fine.

Of course, men are disposable so these numbers mean nothing.

And then it’s no surprise how more and more straight guys go to feminine/trans guys for sex.

Thanks man. I wish I was wrong but I see no man irl react to day-to-day sexism towards them. Apart from the people in this sub, all straight men I know are perfectly content with being a woman’s wallet, among other stereotypes. Shame.

Because most men don’t care to be called trash (sadly).

I’m just tired of all this culture inforcing the idea that the loss of a woman’s life is more tragic than a man’s because they « give life ». Which doesn’t make any sense as they wouldn’t give birth if a man didn’t put life in them. Am I the only one seeing sexism in this type of phrasing? You’d never see something like « including a middle class waiter » despite his death being as tragic as anyone else’s, and getting a job being more of an achievement than getting pregnant.

That’s so f*d up. And yet I think what bewilders me the most is: why aren’t men speaking up? Why are fathers willing to accept to pertuate that on their sons?

Outside of the US 99% of men are not circumsized and foreskin infections are extremely rare. I don’t understand. Besides, can’t female labia get infected too if US bathrooms are so unclean? It’s all very hypocritical when you think that circumcision was encouraged by religious puritans to prevent boys from the sin of masturbation...

I’m from a minority but I don’t like quotas either... I want to feel like I earned my job, not like it’s handed to me on a plate. That’s how it happens for « normal » people and I want just to feel « normal », doing the opposite only focuses on the fact that I’m different. I don’t want to be treated differently because I feel like I’m a regular Joe even though I’m labelled as a minority by others. Just don’t hate minorities because of things like that, it’s the system that’s fucked up, not us.

The people practising discrimination by hitting the guy and defending the woman are... men. Sometimes I think the biggest challenge for equal rights is the absolute lack of support between men.

I know, that’s so sad. I think as men our first target should be to raise awareness among other men about manipulation techniques and stuff. Altghough as a man I understand you don’t think about this kind of stuff when you’re a young dude.

Having to go to the gym for society to approve that I’m a man. If you’re a man without hero-movie like arms, you’re spoken to like dirt from women and other men equally.

Relex, you did nothing wrong at all. As males we have the pressure for dates to be all about the woman, paying for everything and doing what she wants first and foremost. Kudos to you standing up to being a human being and saying no. Looks like you dodged another self-entitled, diamond-hunting weirdo.

Sounds interesting. I’m all for the representation of the male prejudice of being wage slaves as this is an issue that needs awareness.

This is a disturbing story for sure but playing devil’s advocate, maybe she was into it and she doesn’t remember it? She admits she was drunk and couldn’t remember the event so how can she know it wasn’t consensual? I agree with you that the husband is not right either and this story is effed up but answering your question, I think it belongs here because men are fed up of women making up whether it was consensual or not at will after they had sex, like this woman here who doesn’t remember if sh…
