100% I spent a few years in that country specifically training ANA and ANP. I am intimately familiar with their rural culture and how local leadership at the Taliban and tribal level conducts business. I consider myself as experienced as anyone else on how they operate. Don’t know what Afghanistan you’re talking about but I spent years there and more than once saw the dead body of a woman who got out of line. You have to be with an especially caring and powerful husband to be protected from violence if you speak out of turn. I heard many more stories of woman being raped and murdered in front of there families for what there husbands did.
