You basically said, prove to me it's not a hoax. Also called, appeal to ignorance.

The burden of proof is placed on the one who makes a positive claim. YOU have to prove that it is true, because you made a positive claim—nobody has to prove it's false.

If the post-wall women demographic is so broad, then mustn't we also assume that the same applies to incels?

Loaded question, you mean? Or maybe they mean the same thing...

This makes a lot more sense. Bringing up something as specific as sexual market value could be like bring up your artistic value. If you've never drawn before, you are low value in the art field, not in general—which the OP is trying to lead us to think. If OP was more specific, saying that they are low value in the sexual market, then I could somewhat agree. Saying that someone is low value in general, because they can't or don't want to get any women is an ad-hominem.

You did say it was a place for jokes, did you not. I was saying that BP doesn't always stick to jokes; sometimes trying to have "discussions" based off TRP or random articles that never actually end up in any kind of discussion, but instead is a bunch of people keeping he status quo.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/18 07:49 PM

They don't explicitly stick to satire though. They bring up posts from TRP or random articles online and try to explain how TRP is the devil by creating fallacious arguments. TRP does the same thing, but at least there is somewhat of a logical discussion. BP operates more like a cult than TRP, despite BP users calling TRP a "cult."

Since you weren't talking about TRP, I take back what I said. Though I still could care less about "society." And I thought bosses care more about how much money I can make them, not how bangable I am...

That's it? Why would I care about what a bunch of sex-addicted degenerates think about me? I thought you were going to give me a solid reason, instead you were just describing your insecurities.

"Sexual" Market Value. What if I told you there are things I care more about than sex or being sexually appealing—would it shock you?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/18 01:53 PM

I've also been wondering why TRP users are obsessed with sex. Sometimes, users will change their entire lifestyle just to "spin plates." If sex is the end goal, I don't see any benefit in applying any of the knowledge in there—personally—since I think it's asinine to completely change myself just for sex.

Do you write? I would love to read your work. Anyway, I think we're the same as far as mindset is concerned. There are many insightful posts and comments which have kept me from thinking that TRP is some misogynistic cult. I've genuinely enjoyed reading these posts and comments of fellow TRP users, and I will continue to do so. My enjoyment doesn't make me blind though. I like to look at everything objectively and see if said statement is logical—and try to figure out if the conclusion stems fro…

This comment genuinely made me laugh—not that heavy nose breathing shit. I also agree and am also curious about how he came up with 18,000 hour calculation, since he never explained the process he took to get to that number. Also, I doubt most people here have no hobbies and just play Fortnight while masturbating. If you felt like you needed to mention all of that crap in the beginning about your time, you most likely lack social skills. I met someone like this in one of my technical school and …

I was in a class before (college, of course) where some below-average female was complaining about how magazines "wrongly depict women." I'm sure you've been in this situation before and felt like standing up to scream, "shut the fuck up, fat bitch" but you never did it. They believe that EVERY single woman there has been modified in some way—to an extreme. This is entirely false. While there is some slight beautification using photoshop, the woman in photo still worked hard to maintain the pre-…

That isn't entirely true. It's uncommon—not incredibly unlikely—for a child to pursue their own education. They will have a harder time since they will have to live by themselves but it is not incredibly unlikely. What that child cannot do is have a kid. If he does that, he puts his financial recovery on hold. You don't need a kid if you're broke, you need a good job. Still, the fact that this child has to work harder because of stupid broke parents is sad.

If your friend posts "sexy snaps" then she deserves all the slut-shaming people give her. The women-haters are a different story.

The religious part will exclude A LOT of men that fit all the other "criteria." Saving sex for marriage just lowers it even more. Everything else is reasonable, but not always common.

The technical term you are looking for is "homogenous." For example; I give you a cup of milk and when you taste it, you say it's spoiled. I then say, "you only tasted one cup—you need to drink a lot more cups of milk before coming to that conclusion. In this example, milk is "homogenous" meaning, that a small sample is enough to come to a logical conclusion. To piggyback on your counter-argument, the KKK cult is a lot more homogenous than feminists. This means that a small sample of KKK members…

"The poor will always have children." Very sad but very true. I'm educated enough to not bring misery upon a child because of stupid decisions I made. Too bad these poor families are full of dumbasses that are allergic to books while telling everyone to go "go to school" when they are the ones that need school the most. Still, I find it amazing that I've never met a low-income person in my life that did not have a child. Sad world we live in. I feel bad for those kids that have to grow up listen…

I don't think the quality of sex matters for plates in this case. To piggyback on his parking lot example; as long as the parking lot isn't dirty as shit, you'll park your car there--same applies here.

When TRP said that people still believed the wage-gap lie I thought they were full of shit. Two weeks later, I'm sitting in a phycology class and the "wage-gap" between men an women appears as a bullet point. People in the class even agreed too. I was going to say something but it's no use talking to idiots. Not to mention that this class runs solely on opinions rather than facts. "I think" is a more common phrase rather than "I read." It could just be that community college houses all the idiot…

I misread your comment. I thought you said "backlash" not backslash. There are also no backslashes (\) in any of my text so I have no idea what it is you find "annoying." Edit: Since we're getting off topic, any future comments that are not related to my original post will be ignored.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/18 01:37 AM

If having someone pick apart your argument and having them amplify it's faults are annoying to you then you should not have commented in the first place. I'm trying to come to a logical conclusion–not one that is fueled by emotions.

If you're agreeing with me then this thread must be under the automod's comment and not posted as a separate thread. Otherwise, I have to assume you're disagreeing with my view.

Funny. I had an argument with another TRP member who claimed a plate was NOT a "sex-thing" and how women that he plates "have a special place in my heart." This led to my confusion which is why I've decided to ask here.

If you can't argue your point here then I have no reason to do anything you say. "Read my post" is just another form of running away without confronting my argument. If you aren't able to explain the point you are trying to make here then you don't really understand it yourself. Also, I can't backlash if I've used no emotion in my text. The only thing I have done was state the not-so-obvious faults in your argument.

Can you explain what you mean by "symbol for men who want more than one woman to want them"? You're implying that a sex thing is this "symbol" called a plate? Are you agreeing with me or just trying to shit on TRP users?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/18 12:26 AM

My problem wasn't with the "whom." I don't care enough to explain myself on something that has nothing to do with the post so I'll ignore this.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/18 12:23 AM
1

You're bringing up something that has no need for discussion and stating that a specific rule makes my post "ridiculous." You're saying that in order for a female to be called a sex-thing a man must also be able to be called a sex-thing. Whether or not you believe that is the case is entirely irrelevant to my post. What I am trying to argue is whether or not a "plate" is a sex thing. Implying that I don't believe that men can also be labeled as "sex-things" gave you what you thought was an openi…

That doesn't challenge my view at all. "Sex is the whole reason you are there." You are just repeating what I was saying in different words.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/18 10:46 PM

That was a bit difficult to understand–ironically using "whom" in a grammatically incorrect sentence–but I think I understand what you are trying to say. Basically, a "plate" is a female that has been included into your polygamy--obviously I'm exaggerating a little bit--and it's (purposely objectifying here) main use is for casual sex. I don't understand how that is challenging my view. Regardless of whether or not they are for potential relationships, they're still a sex-thing–not to mention th…

It makes sense. Being attracted to your partner is a must in a relationship—I don't see why you're getting backlash from other people. Maybe it was something you said before; I'll have to re-read it...

You've defended absolutely none of your statements and—in an effort to to find a way a way out, you have just tried to question my own statements. Considering the fact that my conclusion comes from your unsupported premises I'd advise you to properly defend against the "plate is not a 'sex-thing'" argument before changing the topic of discussion. "Holding a very special place" in your heart is not a defense and is just an excuse for manipulation. So again. Why is a plate NOT just a "sex-thing?"
/r/RedPillWomen01/05/18 10:43 AM

So other than to support polygamies, a plate is a sort-of sex thing. Even if not specifically a sex-thing it's still someone that fulfills one or two special purposes for you—which sounds like another term for manipulation. I don't care what you do but sugar coating terms to make it sound nice makes you sound unreliable. A stripper can "hold a special place in my heart" but that still makes her a sex-thing. I still can't fathom this polygamous thing that seems common on these forums either. You'…

They do say that you can't be emotional around your female friend or girlfriend but nowhere does it say to "internalize" it and never let it out. A fellow RP user recommended to talk to your male friends about emotional stuff--A CLOSE MALE FRIEND--otherwise, like you said, you'll appear weak. I'm not condoning this, I'm just here to correct the little twist you made with the information you learned. I don't think it's "hate" though I think the better term would be to "look down on" women. There are a few misogynistic views but I think the majority of that sub looks down on them and labels them as less than males.

I think I'm with most people in thinking that celebrities aren't worth our time but I still appreciate you bringing this up. Shows us the blatant double standard that feminism has unfortunately brought upon us. Critical thinking is being thrown away for these feminists and the only places we could talk about anything without any kind of misperceptions is typically on this sub. Would be nice if these idiots read a Critical Thinking book which I have had the pleasure of doing.
