Absolutely! Was just re-reading older posts this morning and read the following...it goes well with your post, I believe: https://www.reddit.com/r/marriedredpill/comments/3hgmuh/do_not_underestimate_the_importance_of_having_an/

Thanks to all you MRPers who have been helping me swallow that red pill in 2015. Going to watch The Matrix this holiday in honor of this subreddit. "Stop trying to hit me, and hit me!" Truer words...

Seriously. Red Pill revelation: I'm watching an episode of Archer, and my wife can't stand it. Then she starts to actually WATCH an episode, and suddenly - instead of complaining about it - she starts laughing, and even saying stuff like "OMG, you're Archer, aren't you?" - and BANG it hits me: she likes this guy! Whoa. Another in a long line of AWALT moments.

Weird...see, I read that from the perspective of a martial artist, at which point it makes total sense to me. As someone with better than average skills at defending oneself, a male martial artist would very likely think: "If a woman hits me, I probably deserve it." I read the "me" in that statement as "me, personally". You maybe read it as "me, a man"? Anyhow, that's my 2 cents.

You appear to be a thinker. Read Mandatory Motherhood (http://www.amazon.com/Mandatory-motherhood-true-meaning-Right/dp/B0006RVMJA), by Garrett Hardin. It's short. In fact, pretty much anything by Hardin is a good way to be scientifically informed.

Not maths. Common error, there. Even Euclid's Fifth Postulate wasn't disproved in the 19th century, but was extended. But, yes, adapt internet advice to fit your situation. The only gold standard for this praxeology is that it must work.

Seriously, I started my new life in my 50's, I'm now in my early 60's. Never say never. If you like physics, study some physics. If nothing else, you can blow people away at parties. When you learn a little math or science, people think you're some kind of genius...I tell my students it's a "halo effect" - like you have access to special esoteric knowledge. And really, it's not - it's just more brainwashing that makes people think they aren't capable of doing this. It's EXACTLY like the body - f…

Imagine your favorite version of Earth. What does that world need more of? Can you do that? Can you learn to do that? Always wanted to be a scientist and inventor, from the time I was a kid. Also, I came from a family of teachers, so love of learning was always there. Didn't do as well in math as I did in English, so I gave up on the dream, but still ended up writing, but in the software industry. Skip ahead several decades, I decide to go into teaching and now, as an adult, I give math a try ag…

Yep - self-delusion exists at every age range, and a hamster running on pure habit can be just as strong as a hormone-driven hamster.

Try the kettlebell to get started. I'm an old, overweight desk jockey, and after a few weeks I could see a change in how straight I stand and the muscles developing in my core. Also, the strength gains are very quick. After one month on the kettlebell I can carry our entire household groceries into the house from the car in ONE trip. That's never happened before.

Yep, listen to the little voice inside that nags you. Worse case scenario, you missed a fun time. There will be other fun times. Best case scenario, you dodged a bullet and, who knows...it's a small world and she could orbit back into your space. Stranger shit has happened. Talk to some of us old guys who are making contact years later with high school and college connections. You played it smart, from what I can see.

Been in several schools, from Title I to Suburban Upscale. Never heard of such a thing. That would be fantastic! Yours does?

Also a teacher. You would not believe the quantity of stuff I need to hang on to year after year in order to do my job competently.

The sidebar items that are helped me the most at the beginning - and still do! - are: No More Mr. Nice Guy When I Say No, I Feel Guilty (Negative Inquiry, Negative Assertion, Fogging, Broken Record - crucial tools!) The Book of Pook (so much truth packed in one book, it blows my mind) Lifting - sure. I don't know why there's very little mention of kettlebells on this subreddit, but as an older gentleman, I can tell you, I started seeing results in less than 2 weeks, in both strength and shape. S…

When they say "read the sidebar" they mean read the books and documents listed in the sidebar. When you read (and by read I mean study, absorb, take notes, and practice) When I Say No I Feel Guilty (WISNIFG) you will have a complete understanding of fogging. And you will use it, believe me!

I hear what you're saying. On the other hand, a spiritual master I read about once said: "Why make a list of what I want? Like most people, I WANT EVERYTHING." And that's true. You and me, at this point we'd be pretty happy with sex every day. But then it would be blow jobs on demand. And then anal during breakfast. And then double penetration on Saturday nights. And then menage a trois with twins every other Sunday. You get what I'm saying. ;-)

Absolutely - read When I Say No I Feel Guilty. Google: Agree and amplify, and negative assertion.

That was trippy...she acts so submissive in this video. Do you think she just felt the differential in their strengths and just "caved" internally? I've never seen her like that.

Brother, I turn 62 in about a month, and sex every day would not be a problem. It's one of those things in life that provides its own energy and motivation. Get more, want more! Maybe I'm just a greedy SOB.

Here's my take on it. As secret_barber and Jesse_James said, if you are truly working with an excellent professional therapist, it shouldn't matter. But as one of the moderators mentioned the other day, you can apply the bell curve to anything. As a math teacher, I find it important to let my students understand that the vast majority of us are average...that's kind of the definition of average. That being said, an average person/therapist might inadvertently be knee-jerk prejudiced by your use …

Well, I'm married red pill (I can't for the life of me figure out how the MRP subreddit does flair...I can easily do flair for other subreddits, but I don't see a link for it anywhere when I'm on MRP...OK, enough whinging...), so it's somewhat different, but short answer is yes. As in being alpha enough in my 50s that my wife not only went full submissive, she actively recruited from where she worked (famous hi-tech company) girls half my age to bang either for a threesome or while she sat downs…

Staying healthy and getting your mind right makes all the difference. Most of my Red Pill journey (and it is a journey that never ends until death) didn't begin for me until I was in my 40s. I'm 61 now, and still am working on my SMV. Never give up, never surrender.

No prob...I had the Deida book, but not the Donovan one, so that looks like a good recommendation - thanks.

Could you make a link to that book? When I look it up on Amazon, I get results that don't make sense. Do you mean "The Way of the Superior Man" by Deida, or "The Way of Men" by Jack Donovan? Or something else?

Seriously, talk to people who actually work with older people (like in nursing homes). Age does not automatically equal lack of interest in or lack of sex. it just might not look as good on video, that's all.
