36	Spent the whole day watching the original Lord of the Rings Trilogy. IT WAS TERRIBLE. Read the books.. Frodo was the strongest second strongest of all the characters in the book. He routinely used the ring and was able to resist its power. Considering the ring granted the user almost infinite power, this is astonishing. The books are fascinating. 1	The Truth Is Out There... Yes, do no harm. But there's also a tenet, beneficence, to do the most good. If there's a health benefit to it, then I should recommend it. 1	The Truth Is Out There... I checked those out and it's mostly stuff I've heard before. Again, I'd assume that neither of us are an expert on the subject, but the Wikipedia page for circumcision claims many different health benefits as well as several studies that have determined no difference in any metric of sexual function. The CDC and the American Academy of Pediatrics both recommend it, and even say it's cost-beneficial when you weigh the risks of complications to the benefits in terms of disease resistance. By the same token as your argument, when advances in gene therapy (likely brought about by the CRISPR system) become medically viable for altering one's offspring, you would argue that it's unethical to decide your children's hair color or intelligence before they can choose.
