To be honest, this has never been an issue for me since I work in finance so tend to have men in finance/law/tech swipe and match with me quite regularly. Or maybe it’s my lifestyle. I couldn’t tell you. So my answer is, work on attracting financially stable men?

I agree, it’s a shit test. Also, I have a boundary as well when it comes to men. I don’t want my man on the streets wearing speedos or wearing heels for a boys night out 🤷🏻‍♀️

I agree. Social standing and having similar lifestyles is important. When they talk about the waitress they mean the really hot model working to make ends meet while trying to hit it big. Lol.

Educated men like educated women.

Classic trap. Making yourself easier to be around and smaller does nothing to men by the way. If anything it makes them think less of you and no real need to step up. Also any ambitious or smart man would respect a woman who has expectations and worth. Anyways, all of this also does not matter. If he fucked with you he wouldn’t end it over work and life overwhelm. He feels bad that you’re still around and he doesn’t like you that much to want you to stay. He’s decent enough to recognise that. Ab…

Men that fall for desire and cannot exercise discipline to commit are not at all high value, or maybe you’re not high value to him so he won’t commit to you and you’re just a plate.

None of these are actually high value attributes though. He seems to be just a man who stumbled on online Alpha Male communities and made it his personality. In my experience HVM have high emotional intelligence and they actually make me feel comfortable to show emotions and vulnerability. It’s feminine and they appreciate that. They also have good social skills and are kind, thoughtful, and ambitious. They smell good and go good and have humility. None of this man’s traits scream high value to …

Also I’d like to mention that I’m Arab, and for most or a lot of my partners I’m the first Arab they have been with and that their normal porn categories or the women they have been with were probably white or black girls, and it does not bother me. I know my partner finds me and my body and my features sexy and that’s all that matters.

Honestly, it’s okay. Men watch porn and if he’s not going to watch porn he’ll be thinking about scenarios and porn when he’s rubbing one out. The fact you snooped and the fact that porn is such an issue for me tells me you might be insecure or you need to do some inner work, and I don’t think you should even bring this up because it’s a violation of trust that you snooped. Ignorance is bliss indeed. You did not need to know about this and it sounds your relationship was going great until you dec…

I definitely think there might be a link between a higher body count and mental stability(if you went on a spree and slept 20 guys in the span of a year) but I don’t think it draws the full picture. E.g If she used to sleep a lot at some stage in her life that was 2 years ago I don’t think it reflects on her current mental health. And I definitely think that a woman sleeping with 1-3 people a year is normal, but again, I totally understand if a person with a low body count isn’t comfortable with…

Alright, it’s just I wouldn’t consider a woman with more than one partner a high body count at 21 but each to their own. All is fair when you also have a low body count.

I live in the UK and it pretty much sounds the same as the US dating market if not worse. The brits are hornier after all.

Yeah he’s my ex, have you never ended a relationship with a person you’re attracted to? We both got busy and I had to move cities so it wasn’t sustainable being in a LDR. I’ve also broken up with other men on bad terms, doesn’t mean they’re not attractive to me anymore lol.

A lot of times I grew attracted to people after talking to them, and a lot of times I became disinterested and unattracted to some men after I saw their behaviour and conduct. My friends used to joke about how ugly one of my exes was but to this day I’m attracted to him because of the energy we have together. Yes initial attraction is important and if I’m at a club obviously you’d be eyeing the hottest men, but in a social setting the dynamics change and there’s plenty of hot men that are hot be…

I feel like I experience men that are interested in me like what she said but if I’m not interested they still keep going..that’s on them. You don’t do it in the hopes she starts being into you, you do it because she’s already eyeing you and you’re doing that to show her you want her for more than just sex. Aka you’re both into each other already.

It’s not to me :) 6’0 feels much taller to me, 5’9 feels like he’s taller but not massively tall. 5’8 and below feels like they’re my height somewhat. Lol. That’s just my standard and I haven’t really struggled with that one since a good majority of men fit that height.

I’m 5’4. 5’9 is one of those psychological cutoffs for me where the dude feels taller than me somewhat lol.

I don’t think my bar is low, I want a guy who shares similar interests, is consistent and is relatively fit.(looks nice with a shirt on, Idc if he’s skinny fat or whatever under it) he also has to be 5’9 or above. Or maybe that is considered a low bar, who knows. I feel like my bar is medium, it’s not crazy expectations and I also try to fit into my expectations. As in, I workout, have my own hobbies, have a social life, I work and I try to be consistent. So I don’t know.

Most women? Find it hard to believe that most women had sex with multiple guys in one day lol

Lol sorry the whole condom and forced fatherhood thing is so funny and is literally so rare that I’m confused why it’s mentioned. LMAO baby girl deserves the baby if she was able to get pregnant off a man’s semen that she found in a trashcan later using a syringe in her bag 😭😭😭

I find this so funny because half of the time it’s the men insisting they don’t use a condom and wanting to finish of you, getting a man to wear a condom can be an uphill battle sometimes. Then they cry about a woman being pregnant and the stress and how they get no choice. Yeah you had a choice when you finished in her.

It’s abnormal tho, she probably had this sort of reaction multiple times yet she still expects it and then continues questioning where all the good men are.

I don’t know. I personally don’t ask my partners about their count and they don’t ask me. I have a high n-count from my first few years at uni and I did not want relationships/commitments. So now when I meet a partner I don’t look at their body count but rather what do they want or expect out of this relationship like an adult.

So I went on sugar daddy websites when I was 19 because a girl I knew who was in that lifestyle encouraged me to. I simply could not. I had multiple men ranging 35-60 but I could not stomach it. It felt nasty and wrong and intimidating and I couldn’t even attempt texting them sexually without hating myself. Even tho they had lots of money. And most of my female friends felt the same when I showed them the texts :/ by rich and handsome I probably mean someone maybe 10 years my senior max with a g…

Female here. I don’t usually comment on this sub but I have this exact problem as this person. Last year I found myself in a pattern of going after toxic men which would leave me frustrated and in pain. It wasn’t like there wasn’t nice guys, there was a few good-meaning men in my life but I simply didn’t want to be with them because they were nice and that kind of really fucked with me. I simply didn’t find them attractive no matter how attractive they looked. I swore I’m not getting into any mo…

I’m still being cautious and I’m texting him less. I’m going to drop him in a few weeks time if we’re not going anywhere solid. Right now things are looking good and he seems to genuinely like me so we’ll see.

I stopped contacting him and he started texting me again, asked me if I’m free this weekend. That being said he’s still not great at texting but everyone says he’s bad at it and he’s not a texter so idk.

Wow I actually saved that so I can remind myself of my worth and how to behave. Thank you :) I’m starting to slowly accept that he’s not into me and I’ll take it.

He gave me his jacket(it’s p expensive) and I still have it from the last time we met so he def gave it to me with the intention of seeing me again obviously, and I’m willing to compromise and work with him and his schedule as he has a job, has regular football practice with his team and spends a good amount of time in the library studying so he’s on the busier side. I never dealt with anyone that has this communication style so what’s an appropriate time I should wait for him to text? Like if h…

Jokes aside. I used to be a feminist up till mid 3rd wave feminism. I grew up in a 3rd world country and for the span of 1st/2nd/3rd wave feminism it was about actually giving women their rights and equality. The 4th wave is called ‘digital feminism’ in which social media became part and one of the primary ways to express feminism aka women getting mad in twitter and it stopped supporting the actual women in need. Some parts of 4th wave is useful such as the me too movement(but it also made it v…
