What can even be done when this has been drip fed to them for several decades now?

how as men are increasingly thinking of themselves and talked about as the victims of society, women are put in the position of being the caretakers of men. Once you realize everything they say is projection, statements like this begin to make a lot of sense. Women/feminists spent the past 50 years proudly proclaiming they were only focused on their needs. Women/feminists spent the last 100 years feeling like the penultimate victims of society. Men have been the caretakers of women for millenia.

At this point, I feel like the only solution is to start voting conservative. I'm not going to do that, but damn if it doesn't feel like liberal institutions will do anything but to stop shitting on men.

At this point, I'll take the lies. But they always have to tell you anyway. Always.

Well I think it's reaching to assume your parking lot performance was what gave her the ick. But assuming that was true, is that not a textbook example of it being a "minor" reason?

What resentment? What's inaccurate about what I've posted? I believe women are equal to men, so I'm asking what effort women are required to input other than sitting there and judging? Do you have an answer or are you just doing to tell me how these thoughts are incompatible with successfully dating.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/26 06:28 AM

I'm not nervous, it just seems like a lot of effort to get discarded for any minor reason

Is it an issue that I live in reality? Buddy, I believe that women are equal and capable of everything men can do. But with regards to dating it is simply not true that a man can sit back and expect the same experience as a woman.

How is dating supposed to be fun when I have to do all the work initiating, building rapport, securing the date, planning the event and if I make one wrong move anywhere along the process I'm written off? Do you find job interviews fun? Do you enjoy the humiliation ritual? Please help me understand what I'm missing here

Studies need funding, and it's easy to get it from women's advocacy groups when your goal is to find something pro-women. There are no such male advocacy groups of any impactful size or influence. So this does not happen in the inverse.

People with your type of victim complex think everything is misogyny. Everyone knows reddit is left leaning and pro-women, literally down to the ToS where women are considered a protected class, and are still convinced this platform is riddled with misogyny. I don't get it. You can post whatever generalizations or biases or hate you want about men and get praised for it, yet if men were to do the same they would get banned from the platform. If this is just neoliberal feminism, then what do other forms of feminism look like? I'm wondering here because by all accounts women have reached parity with men in the west. So what need would they have for feminism if not the female supremacist version we see in neoliberal feminism.

More than that, most people like to talk about themselves and you'll tend to learn a lot about people from being in proximity to them often. I don't work in an office but clients will tell me about their weekend/holiday plans, guy on my team had his second daughter a couple months ago and was telling me how it went, that kind of thing.

Men are lacking in deeper interactions but still have a lot of surface-level interactions in which (in most cases) you can read what type of person someone is - classmates, co-workers, peers basically.

This issue isn't "oh no, women are decentering men and now I'm going to die alone!" The issue here is in the how and why. How and why are women able to decenter men? Because there are a number of social safety nets to help single women. Women are the largest beneficiary of these programs. Now let's flip that. What safety nets exist for single men? And looking to the future, does this look like a good time to try to get by on one income?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/25 01:02 PM

The only reason why this is portrayed as a male issue is because society has been solely focused on women for the past 25 years. If they tried to position this as a female issue it would drive the wedge between the genders even further lol

Men will continue to walk away from dating and relationships which they are already doing. Eventually women will realize that being part of a man's harem doesn't benefit then and things will swing the other way.

It's weird how we as a society can draw a logical conclusion that leads to anything but women Think about it, if a woman can't find a man to date because she makes too much money, that's men's fault for there not being a man good enough for her. But if men are at large withdrawing from sex and dating, it couldn't possibly be due to the people they want sex and dates with. I'm not even saying this is all women's fault but god damn. Can we at least acknowledge they play a part in all this?
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates03/12/25 06:50 PM

I look at it the same way a woman looks at a man's income. Most women want a guy who makes as much or more than them. Most men want a woman who has a similar or lower body count than them. Either both or neither is unreasonable. Your move.

Low paying but essential is attractive to a lot of women. A teacher or a social worker would be appealing to a LOT of liberal women. Despite all the efforts toward equality, women don't approach men. At the end of the day any man cultivates his options. Understood. Red pill and spinning plates is the way to get a committed relationship.

It's actually extremely easy for a bi man to cheat because getting NSA sex with other men is extremely easy compared to women so if your man has sex with men he can pretty much cheat whenever he wants. There's less gay men than straight men? But yeah, that makes for a great explanation as to why women are more likely to cheat lol

No no, it couldn't be that women are homophobic. It must be internalized misogyny! See the Patriarchy hurts men too!!

They aren't? Then why are dating apps tanking?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/25 05:29 PM

Also that most women participate in non-monogamous/casual sex, statistically they don’t. I see this mentioned a lot on here, but it's vague Are you trying to say that statically they don't have any casual sex encounters? Or simply that's not what most women are looking for in the present moment?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/25 04:17 PM

This is true, but if you aren't able to be vulnerable around women you won't even be able to have the relationship that will inevitably crash and burn

Wouldn't that be how women sound talking about the patriarchy?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/25 12:43 PM

I dunno, I can't help but feel like I was plotted against when that guy started having issues with me I would expect a 30+ year old woman to be upfront and say we weren't compatible instead of her ghosting and now making me feel awkward around her friends and by proxy their boyfriends but alas here we are
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/25 06:14 AM

It's just a birthday man, I'll go to his wedding
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/25 05:52 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/25 04:43 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/25 04:36 AM

I don't think that is the issue, it's more a combination of: Marriages more often end in divorce than in the past Social media makes this more obvious than ever before in history A lot of guys have seen what their dads go through in divorce and don't want to end up in the same boat
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/25 04:28 AM

One of my best friend's wife invited me to a surprise birthday for him. I have zero interest in dealing with everyone else who is going to be there and thus no interest in going. One of the guys going had a crashout last year and it took him 8 months to apologize to me. I did not accept his apology. Another, I attended his wedding two years ago and a couple months later got set up with his wife's best friend who then ghosted me after two months and started dating first guys' best friend. Your claim: "what they are seeking is for women or other minorities to agree to be unequal or in someway give up their rights" I am simply asking for examples of what you are describing here. In what way are white men expecting women or other marginalized groups to "give up" their rights?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/03/25 05:53 PM

Anyone who uses that phrase is too far gone. They're completely given into the oppressor vs. oppressed victim mindset. They cannot see women as engaging in bad behavior, and if they do it's because a man/men deserved it.

Feminism liberates men by giving them the permission to fully accept themselves as a human being and not solely as a provider/protector. This is part of the problem actually... Feminism liberated women from traditional gender roles but male gender roles are largely unchanged. I don't disagree, but you aren't going to win people on your side by saying something that has existed for 100 years (modern healthcare) is more of a human right than something humans have been doing for all of human history

/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/24 01:31 PM

The male loneliness epidemic is a farce. Look at each of those things you just mentioned. Each of them are viewed through the lens of how this affects women, how men need to step up and do better for women. It's nothing more than a shaming campaign for not throwing your life on the line in service of a woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/24 01:25 PM

Neither gender is particularly rational in this regard. The difference though is when male spaces are deemed as too toxic on this very site, they are shut down. When women's subs do the same thing, they are celebrated for it and put on the front page.

Y'all act like abortion was an inalienable right for women when it existed for no more than a couple decades. Meanwhile men have never had any agency in the decision to have a child that they half contributed to making. What's that expression y'all love to use so much? When you're used to privilege, equality feels like oppression?

And they don’t do this with just men. TERFs are a byproduct of feminist-centric culture. To a surprising number of feminists, the problems affecting queer people or racial minorities are secondary to the problems of woman! What if we framed misandrist feminism the same way we frame TERFs? Because it sounds like it's operatively no different

/r/PurplePillDebate23/09/24 05:27 PM

Exactly. I date the same way, letting things build up as I get to know the person because quite frankly, I'm happy being single and want to make sure I've found the right person! And it works against me so predicably every single time.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates23/09/24 12:08 AM

"Nice guy" is a way for women, who must always appear moral and virtuous, to deflect that they aren't attracted to what they claim. Liberal progressives co-opted that because of course they did, men bad.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates22/09/24 05:08 PM

That's not how that works. Blue pill people can be single and red pill people can be in relationships. If blue pill is the default condition most single people are going to be blue pill by default
/r/PurplePillDebate22/09/24 04:59 PM

Because the blue pilled losers who do this stuff despite never having kind of chance with the woman inflates her ego and makes the market more competitive for the rest of us.

/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/24 06:59 PM
3

I don't see it gaining much traction. To acknowledge men can have problems too flies directly in the face of patriarchy theory, the mission statement of feminism, and is too entrenched in modern society. That would require them to admit the average man and women aren't too different after all.

If the cost of living continues to climb at the rate it has been, individualism won't be sustainable for many individuals. We may see people returning to relationships out of necessity. The state may see this as a boon because of the crippling birth rate, and allow rents and cost of goods to spiral out of control. Both pretty shitty outcomes.

As a single man who lives alone I already do all this on my own. Why is it implied only women can do these things?

/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/24 02:32 PM

They're talking about all men they didn't know
/r/PurplePillDebate30/08/24 03:10 PM

/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates28/08/24 04:44 PM

If you look at threads in that sub asking the mask-off version of this, is it acceptable feminism to want to be a traditional-style wife, you'll be met with feminists reminding you that feminism is about a woman's right to choose. So in other words, expecting men to pay for things is feminism because anything a woman wants or that makes a woman happy is feminism.

I had that thought when posting this, something akin to "Would we really be able to change thousands of years of learned behavior in what women prefer?" But we did it for women in 50 years so why wouldn't we be able to do it for men?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/24 09:07 PM

I'm not even sure they want the power imbalance as much as it is they prefer traditional relationships for whatever reason. But that's not me so I can't speak on their behalf
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/24 09:02 PM

Totally agree with you. I was just talking with my mom about this the other day, I don't know where this mentality comes from or why it's having this weird resurgence. All of my Millennial friends had working moms growing up. My mom has her Masters. I can't date women without goals and aspirations.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/24 06:50 PM

Yup, relationships will have to stop being so one-sided and start being more balanced in favor of men. Otherwise men will do the cost benefit analysis and determine, as you stated, the juice isn't worth the squeeze. I reckon that starts with treating men like people not a woman's means to an end.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/24 06:34 PM

No I mean I'm tired of men being framed by society as the hyperagenic figure that simultaneously has to handle all of societies responsibilities and held accountable for all of its failures.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/24 05:25 PM

Sacrifice and provide for what? A woman to leave when she gets bored? No thanks.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/24 05:21 PM

Not determining a man's success on whether or not he has and is providing for a family Not expecting that any and all obstacles men face can and should be solved by themselves alone Not treating men like the hyper-masculine bad gender
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/24 05:19 PM

Liberate men from gender roles like we did women
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/24 04:31 PM

Never thought about it that way, but you make a great point. Society frames feminism as being this moral institution, but most women support it simply because it benefits themselves as an individual, rather than what it stands for.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates25/08/24 01:31 PM
7

The Dems letting Roe get steamrolled and sitting on their hands about it certainly adds to women's paranoia about their rights being taken away which has been pushing them further left too.

It's naive to think the media you're exposed to at a young age doesn't influence you. Nice try sweeping this under the rug.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/24 02:15 AM
2

Men aren't really complaining, we're just opting out and finding fulfillment in life in other ways. So some women are going to have to go it alone as things continue to get economically worse to try and survive on a single income.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/24 11:18 PM
1

It's simple really. Did the guy win on merit or morality? Or did she choose someone who reflects the exact opposite?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/24 07:08 PM

Yup. American women can't resist the boisterous jock archetype unless they're introverted redditors.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/24 12:00 PM

It sounds very much like the recent statistic that women now own more homes than men. Where if you think about it for two seconds, it makes perfect sense why they do - they've been awarded the home in the divorce. So how do you think recently divorced single women are doing on the happiness scale? I reckon they are pretty content since they're often still living in the martial home, and being paid by the ex-husband to do so via child support and/or alimony.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates15/08/24 11:50 AM

California has the 10 year alimony law, Canada has common law marriage. I'm sure other policies are out there. What's up with these progressive places granting extra protections to women in the modern day? I thought we were equals?
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates15/08/24 11:44 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/24 08:32 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate07/08/24 03:37 AM

Interesting, I believe the data also shows that people who commit such acts also tend to come from single parent households... I wonder which parent is more likely to have custody.

Sure, but are men told about bad women from adolescence? No, we're told all women are angels lol. And the stakes for women are higher are they not? So why does it take years of lived experience for women to learn what they are told since they are children?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/24 04:44 AM

Here's the rub; "feminist" basically means "woman" now. It's mainstream. All women know about it. There are zero consequences using the playbook, even if you don't identify as feminist. In fact if you go against what they stand for, you will be villainized for it by other women. So might as well play along and reap the benefits. That's why it feels like there are so many feminists who oppose what seems like would be basic equality and use mental gymnastics to justify it. It's reeling in everyone…

They actually like a lot of toxic male behaviors. They like traditional gender roles and being objectified, such as catcalling, and feel ashamed for it. They don't want a nice, sweet, caring man. It's the dichotomy of their biology playing out against the feminist messaging they're exposed to essentially since birth. They cannot reconcile the biological urge for a strong, masculine man with the societal programming that they must be a strong, independent women who can do it all. Rather than ackn…

Never wanted to condemn someone to a life of solitude like myself, but it's the truth. What is important to note is making these adjustments in your life only makes it harder to get women. Once you're happy with your lifestyle, you won't have the drive to pursue what you know is almost guaranteed to fail. And playing the passive role does not work as a guy. Women aren't going to approach, let's be real.

So female sexuality is this complex enigma where women are incapable of feeling attraction unless they feel bonded to the man. Unless the man is Chad of course then they are holes for him to use.

/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/24 05:11 PM

A small number of men have power over women. This is not "men having power over women" in dating. You don't get it. Women still perceive themselves as being the ones who face more adversity due to the intra-gender competition they face from all chasing the same man. Therefore, they see it as men having power over women.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/24 04:56 PM

What increasing standards? You disagree? Go on. Most guys get relationship and pussy. A fraction of what women get to experience. That's like kings telling serfs to enjoy their crumbs.

Who made the argument that attractiveness does not matter for men? What men are complaining about is women's standards increasing due to the constant attention they receive from men. This is why they use terms like "hoeflation". The data also supports women being more selective and a small subset of men receiving most of the attention from the opposite sex.

This is where patriarchy theory falls flat for me. I understand that men are responsible for our own issues and are not entitled to help from women. But is the first step to dismantling the patriarchy not to free both women and men from traditional gender roles? I'll even accept that women remain attracted to more masculine behavior as they have a biological imperative to find the best mate they can. But no, feminism arbitrarily reinforces the traditional role on men, reinforcing the patriarchy.…

Women think emotionally, men think logically. This is why you won't see empathy for men's causes; if it's not something that directly affects them, they can't conceptualize it. Now factor in the "women are wonderful" effect and you have a society that will take every statement made by a woman at face value even if the claim has no merit. There are Instagram pages that post mugshots of women and the comments are full of dudes saying "I can fix her." These guys are self-aware of their propensity for toxic women that they are being satirical about it. If you tell a woman maybe she would have more success finding a committed relationship by not chasing bad boys you'll be labeled a misogynistic incel.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/24 03:54 PM

No, we just don't immediately jump to misandry because we're capable of thinking critically. Tell a man that his relationship woes are because of toxic women and he'll admit it's his fault he's addicted to toxic women. Tell a woman her relationship woes are because of toxic men and she won't even entertain the idea.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/24 03:37 PM

There is something really weird and tribal about how women will come out of the woodworks to defend a theoretical women who does not even exist. Even more strange, women have a higher propensity for groupthink which means generalizations about them are generally more valid.

Women don't want that anymore lol. That's the whole thing. A short while ago women mostly wanted equal partners but that only applies to very few women now. And how do you combat the group guilt and shame? Very easily actually. I look at what women say vs. what they do. Women claim that men are so dangerous and always a threat and what do they do? They go to parties with guys they don't know to drink and do drugs. They meet guys on dating apps and go back to their house the day they met. They select men with typically masculine traits. I mean Grimes was married to Elon Musk for fucks sake.

So...let me let you in on a little secret. You know how many girlies say they don't want kids and are happier leading a stress-free life without them? Guess what? Some men think like that too. We don't want kids at all. So we won't, under any circumstances, date a woman who has kids. Not really all that different from how women see it. Not sure why that is so hard to conceptualize.

/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/24 09:44 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/24 09:32 PM

Perception is reality and women perceive themselves as perpetual victims and men as violent criminals. There is no changing this now, the cat's out of the bag. Plus, do you really see the government pushing a campaign to try and get women to be more trusting of men? No, of course not. So all that will happen is more pandering to women and furthering the gender divide.

Women had no difficulties finding and keeping a man for hundreds of years when they had realistic standards. Now you hoes only end up in situationships and wonder why there aren't any good men out there, yet you're telling me that's not a result of women's overinflated standards?

Dating is just a colossal waste of time for men The only time a woman is available is just as she's exiting a relationship So you get to compete with: The emotional unavailability of someone who just exited a relationship The guys in her circle who just learned she is single and want a piece of the action Her just going back to her ex And even then it is just a matter of time until she gets bored and leaves. It's not a matter of if but when. Why do we even bother with this
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/24 06:27 PM

The girl I was talking to for the past month ghosted me I followed all the blue pill advise this time around. She was near my age (30s) who I got introduced to through mutual friends This really solidifies it for me. All women are the same
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/24 06:19 PM

Dude, people in college are racking up those kinda numbers every year https://www.statista.com/statistics/1367087/us-college-hookups-by-gender/#:~:text=Number%20of%20hookups%20in%20college,States%201910%2D2020%2C%20by%20gender&text=In%202020%2C%20men%20in%20college,times%20and%20women%200.1%20times. /r/PurplePillDebate26/02/24 05:07 PM

Totally agree with you. There is a lot of nuance to it, and I agree that is partially the problem. Intersectionality has many perspectives, and from the feminist lens it is often viewed as directly male vs. female. So I must concede that feminists do play a large part in the problem. I don't disagree with intersectionality as a whole but my point is it's being used as a distraction from real class issues every working class person suffers from regardless of race or gender.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates25/02/24 05:16 AM
4

Let me expand on this. I think everyone (even those on the other side of the aisle) can all agree on two things: Not all women are feminists Not all feminists agree with the hypocrisy some women use to their advantage So feminism isn't the problem here. The problem is the way society sees men under intersectionality. They are the oppressors while women are the oppressed, thus we are more liberal in how we view women's actions vs. men's.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates25/02/24 03:40 AM

It's not just you. Politics as a whole in the states and possibly other Western countries has been reduced to identity politics. We had a brief moment there where the mainstream left was observing class differences but the powers at be had to divert attention from the class struggle. So, we now get to bicker about intersectionality rather than talking about why CEOs make 10k a minute while their employees make minimum wage. This makes those at the top very happy. I'm no feminist but this goes wa…

They do not know what they want, evident by the fact that two demographics of women with opposite demands still see the grass greener on the other side. Women's demands have never been met at the rate they are in modern society and yet they are more miserable than ever. /r/PurplePillDebate25/01/24 02:41 AM

"When to break her down"? 🧐
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/24 02:37 AM

Women like to claim that sleeping around with men who do not provide them with commitment does not lower their value You are asserting that being with men who do not like women lowers a woman's value I am saying that those men that are entering commitment free relationships with women do not like or even care about women and in fact are only looking to fulfill their own needs
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/24 08:44 PM

And being with the ones who you end up in situationships throughout your 20's doesn't?

It's simple really. If you do then right, nothing happens. If you do them wrong, straight to jail for tax fraud 😂
/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/24 04:23 PM

In the states we have to do and submit our own tax returns to the federal government once a year to ensure we have paid enough. It is dumb

This woman wrote a whole essay on something that didn't even happen to her. It's evident she was simply looking for an excuse to hate men. It is curious how women hate to be generalized but love to generalize men.

It is with poetic irony that women evolved the term "emotional labor" to describe men with emotional needs. Ignoring the fact that being open with your partner is a bare minimum and women stating they want partners to open up to them, has it not been every mans' experience here that women are incredibly fucking emotionally needy on a constant basis? I dated girls that needed me to unpack their workplace traumas daily. I refuse to believe there are men out there that are worse about this than wom…

Being a man means dealing with rejection and adversity. In caveman times, if a caveman gave up because he couldn't hunt down a mammoth or another animal on his first try, he died of hunger. But that was a requirement for survival. What happens if I decide to not deal with the "rejection and adversity" of pursuing a woman? Nothing, I continue to exist and my life remains easier.

Them being oblivious to it is the only explanation that makes sense of their disdain in spite of their privilege. I think they internalized the body positivity movement too much and literally think every woman is a 10/10 deserving of a Chad.

Yeah, individualism has been severely lacking lately. The "feed me and tell me I'm pretty", loves to travel and must love dogs female archetype applies to an overwhelming number of women now. Dating apps are full of attractive women that all seem to lack a personality.

The first and last points I get. But this: -Divorced men with no kids. I suppose this is a decent choice. But if their first marriage failed you would have to consider why. -Single men. But why are they still single at that age? Maybe they're a player or a very late bloomer. If you wanna know why late bloomers can be red flags, check out my previous post. Is a result of women having weird standards. None of this is gender specific, men have to contend with the same concerns but women for seem to…

Men are logically driven, women are emotionally driven. When a man realizes he is shooting beyond his standards he should take a pragmatic approach and adjust them. Women operate emotionally, they don't process their failures logically or internalize them. (Think about it. When have you seen a woman take accountability for a relationship failing.) Which brings me to my next point. Women marry and have traditionally throughout history married for domestic and financial stability. Men do not marry…

Nah, I've seen 4s and 5s selling content. Additionally you have educated women blowing up their careers in healthcare and education to jump on the OF train. It's all types of women. Ultimately, it comes down to it being safer to assume all women are promiscuous since in the current zeitgeist women get a pat on the back for it and men are shamed for having preferences. Less disappointment that way.

Growing up my dad taught me a very important lesson I carry with me to this day: Perception is reality. The way I look at it, it would not matter if I am not actaully cheating on my wife/girlfriend if she in fact thought that is what I was doing. The larger issue would be that she feels that way. This, I would not put her in a position to feel like that. Unlike women who will use plausible deniability when they know damn well the three dudes in their inbox daily are waiting for an opportunity to…

Yes, the content is bait. But just look at the thousands of comments from women who echo the same sentiment, and millions more women who view the content, allowing it to drip into society as a whole.

You think all women are angels? 😂
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/23 08:09 PM

It's always so weird to me when women on here say they don't need men. That doesn't match up with my personal experience at all. One of my exes let a guy pump and dump her the day after I ended our three year relationship. I think most women cannot handle being alone and women relying on men to fix them is something that is not talked about nearly enough.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/23 06:47 PM

This has been my experience as well. Why put in the work to self-reflect when you can hop into something new and exciting with another guy.

If your boundary is ''don't dress in a vulgar manner and don't post bikini pics'', you probably wouldn't date a person who did those things, and if your partner started doing them, you'd leave them. Exactly. I feel like this does not happen anywhere near the frequency it is reported.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/23 07:29 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate19/11/23 12:52 AM

This is just silly. Men bring a lot more to relationships than women.

I have a question. If patriarchy harms men too, then why did women only emancipate themselves from traditional gender roles? The patriarchy can only be "smashed" if BOTH genders are, no?
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates16/11/23 10:48 AM

Inb4 someone says "these days you need two incomes to live, sweetie!" Let them say that, they're right. Men should accept nothing less than an equal partnership. I'm not paying for a woman's lifestyle.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/23 03:08 AM

Women don't date down in hetero relationships, let's be realistic. And not every man is gay.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/23 03:05 AM

That's not the argument you think it is. Any man Megan Fox would date would also be a celebrity, and as someone in the public spotlight, he would have far more to lose than an average Joe if he got exposed for poor behavior. Think about it. Celebrities are more concerned with their public image than anyone.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/23 02:55 AM

Women can relationship their way out of poverty. They can enter a relationship and never have to work another day in their lives. If that's not peak privilege, I'm not sure what is. So I don't care what women think about male privilege.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/23 02:09 AM

Megan Fox released a book. Pretty Boys are Poisonous. Let that sink in. That is a 37 year old woman making this realization. I saw a quote earlier that sums it up pretty well: "Women are intoxicated by toxic male behavior."

I agree, men should not be bitter. They need to accept women are like that. The difference is it's like women don't start self-reflecting until they hit 30. Then it's commitment and chivalry or bust.
