Indeed. I feel like many men consider themselves in the friend zone when they're really not. They just haven't quite sealed the deal. Friend zone doesn't mean you haven't closed. It means there has been a valuation by the girl on you as nonsexual/non threatening.

Interesting. But at what point did you start being successful? It sounds like this guy is a beginner and probably shouldn't mess with that just yet. I also find that when I hear reports of guys getting out of the FZ, it sounds more like a girl who they didn't quite close well enough. There's a difference between the friend zone and the "didn't quite seal the deal" zone. In my opinion, the friend zone is more permanent in nature and definitely not at all sexual. OP, sorry to be harsh but I agree. Definitely tempting, but move on. You kick ass regardless. Don't tie your self esteem to solving your mistakes in the past. Move forward and be bold.

Indeed. I cringe about the prolonged one-itis and agony I used to have. I am by no means a master and am usually too busy do too much (# and K closed last weekend though) but at least I learned that lesson. I would also recommend to any aspiring PUAs out there to completely let go that one that got away from the past. Better to focus your game on new outlets because if you're anything like me, that situation is still probably too difficult to deal with.
