No, most of the premise is that there should be a study of gender roles and how patriarchy, as a system, influences relationships and decisions individuals make.

I'm pointing at this subs inability to grapple with the issues of the terms like patriarchy and the field of gender studies. Saying things like "but those with similar history/capabilities have comparble pay" is willfully ignorant of the argument or assertions of gender studies.

If only there was an academic study of why those decisions are made. Or, a name for the theory and explanation of why those decisions are made. Oh well, guess we will never know.
