My therapist recommended the 5-4-3-2-1 grounding method that you could use when you start to get anxious thoughts, so you could check that out. The biggest red flag is the fact that you've been together 4.5 years and he doesn't have a plan for marrying you. You might be a bit young to get married but you're not too young to have a plan, not at all. In fact, I think its necessary. Your feelings are not unfounded, LDR's are hard, especially with someone that doesn't show concrete commitment. I would reconsider if I were you.

to be fair I think Avril was like 16 when she wrote "sk8er boy" she had songs with a less pickme message when she was older like "I can do better" and also "what the hell" but also some pickme songs in between them (eg. "girlfriend") and some mixed songs ("everything back but you") but I think it was a slow progression from full-on pickme to just a kinda pickme but idk. I don't know if her music is representative of her actual feelings so I'm just assuming here lol

I really don’t like the whole armchair psychologist thing going on here Yeah she might be autistic But she might not, the symptoms you listed can also be found in neurotypical people or people with other disorders.
